We had a nontradional eggs Benedict and biscuit and Garvey and of course we shared cause I'm not a breakfast person, and the other ordered is avocado toast. They were all good and delicious I would come here again for breakfast. Service was good, when you pay your tab, they gave you option no less then 18%, for the tip, which you should give whatever you want and it all depends on your service, after all we don't need to pay them above 18% of the tab because we are not responsible paying for there wages. We are just tipping depends on the service. So it's happening a lot in the resturant that they would want 18% or more on the tip. Which I disagree. Wow what delicious food we have gone twice in the last 2 days it's that good! Best meals I have had in a long time! Excellent breakfast, spacious, clean, great service, we were sat quickly and the food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Best menu variety. Something for everyone! Please open a location in San Diego California. In Chula Vista! We had the banana caramel French toast with almonds, perfect sweetness not overly sweet. So good. Lemon ricotta pancakes in the video are my new favorite not too sweet and the lemon curd is bright and the pan is could feed 2. So moist and delicious. The grits were sooooo good and filled with a yummy garlic flavor we were not expecting and were so pleased with. The potatoes are crisp and well seasoned. Large portion enough to share. Omelets are delicious. I am now a Benedict fan. The hollandaise sauce had a lemon essence which was bright and delicious. Yummy ham on it. You cannot go wrong here. They have great food and nice waiters. I had a fruit bowl and blueberry muffin, which they messed up and brought a lemon poppyseed. The waiter was so embarrassed and said, I'll be right back with a blueberry! We took the lemon poppyseed home for later, but I get the fact they can't take it back to serve to someone else. Today i had a delicious brunch with my friends. the food was amazing and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. But my server was definitely the downfall of our experience. Marie was so rude and rushfull. as we sat down she greeted us immediately expecting us to know what we want to drink before i got a chance to look at the menu. she came back for food orders and that was the last she talked to us. she continued to had us the stuff we needed such as fruit and my tiny box for a full large pancake with her back facing the table and no follow up questions about our satisfaction. I've been to several First Watches over the years and this one in particular is a nice friendly, politely staffed restaurant. I had lunch here two days ago by myself. There was a wait for tables, but there was space at the communal table, so I sat there. Service was good in spite of the noon-hour busyness. I ordered a ham and gruyere omelette with potatoes as the side dish ($13.29). It also came with two slices of buttered toast and some jam. I enjoyed everything. My only small complaint is that the omelette was too salty. Restaurants in general tend to oversalt everything. I liked the communal table even if I didn't end up chatting much with my neighbors. The restaurant atmosphere is debatable. Warm feeling with a farmhouse decor look but the annoying loud music is extremely uncomfortable, making conversations with anyone nearly impossible. Stopped in here with a friend today to have lunch. So many great choices that we both decided on the 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad combo. I could've had a choice of soup but because I was torn between salad of sandwich I chose this combo. Went to breakfast this morning at First Watch. Got a gift card for my birthday and decided to treat myself. I was very disappointed. I ordered the French toast which was served to me extremely hot. The gentleman that brought out the food never warned me as to how hot it was. I burned the roof of my mouth on the first bite. Not sure if they microwave it prior to serving but please don't. It came with a very small container of compote which was mostly sauce, not alot of fruit. Fresh fruit would have been better. The bread was very soft and not flavorful at all. My husband had an egg entree which he enjoyed. His only complaint was that the eggs didn't have much yolk. I do enjoy their lunch menu and will return for that, never breakfast though. read more

Never the less, the wait staff is pretty efficient in moving people in and out. Sometimes, they seem to be a bit overwhelmed, but they'll generally keep their sense of aplomb and keep on pitching. Menu emphasizes local sourcing of their food items, that's a good thing. Food choices run from standard breakfast to brunchy items. They alway modify the menu seasonally to provide a bit of a change. Recent addition of mimosa type drinks is a nice upgrade, although I wish they had more choices in the bubbly used. My usual go-to meal is the Tri-athlete, because it's healthy and tasty. Been wanting to try this place for quite a while. We went on a Sunday around 9am and thankfully did not have to wait for a table. However, we did wait a long time for the food. I saw a couple tables get seated after us and served way before us. Our waitress checked on us a couple of times then she decided to check on our food order. Apparently there was a mix up in the kitchen and I'm pretty sure our food either never got made or it went out in a DoorDash order. She was really nice and apologized for the delay and offers up a free muffin for the inconvenience. All in all it didn't upset our experience too much. The food was very good and the Purple Haze drink I had was awesome! Oh and if you are a biscuit fan, these were some of the best I've had. Nice place , friendly service and great. food. I was early for an event in Tucson and hungry so Yelp led me here. For a weekday morning it was pretty busy but my server Jesus was hustling. He was warm and friendly and offered some good suggestions on what to order. My food came out quickly and it was a nice surprise to see 4 good slices of bacon on my plate as well as all of the other goodies. We are big First Watch fans and it's great to the number of locations in town steadily increase. My husband always gets the French toast while I've tried several different items on the menu. The Athlete omelette and classic breakfast are both great, and I always enjoy the seasonal specials. Today I ordered the carnitas breakfast tostadas from the summer menu, which were delicious. I would definitely get these again. The watermelon wake-up juice (watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint) was perfectly refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. I definitely recommend the online waitlist on weekends. If you show up at the restaurant, you're looking at quite a wait, but the waitlist is usually pretty accurate in terms of wait time. Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but that's the nature of dining out. This food is worth the wait. read more
