Decent food, terrible service. I took my husband and kids there for Father's Day breakfast. So disappointed in my experience! I was told there was a 45 minute wait, and went outside to wait. Noticing the patio area I went back in and asked. Even though the place was teeming with people, the patio was open and available. Was it being offered to anyone? It wasn't offered to me! She sat us and we moved an umbrella for some shade. More umbrellas are needed. There's barely any shade out there. Halfway through our meal, which was perfectly fine, I noticed our water bottle was *very* dirty. Like it had been washed in a dishwasher with something that had paper. I hope. Yuck. I asked for another and the server obliged but said nothing. No apology no nothing. Didn't offer to get us new glasses or empty out the dirty water from them that we had apparently been drinking. Then another table near us cleared out. It sat empty with dirty dishes for the longest time. Finally some elderly women (customers) came out and, it being the only open table with shade, decided they'd have have to clear the table themselves so they could sit there. I'm sorry but I think it's inexcusable for customers (especially elderly people) to have to bus the tables themselves. I went in after we were done to pay. I saw a man in front of me try to give his signed receipt to the hostess. His wild waving could not get her attention despite her only being a few feet away and talking to a customer parallel to him. So he tossed the receipt on the counter and left. Then it was my turn to be ignored. I waited, standing right at the counter, as customer after customer came up next to me and received attention with questions about being seated, but I could not have been less important. I said excuse me and got more assertive and was directly ignored. She did not even glance my way or say "I'll be with you in just a moment ma'am" or anything else you'd expect. I physically did not exist. Finally a customer left and she turned my way. Oh I DO exist, you were pretending not to see me!!! She asked how she could help and I said rather brusquely, "I've been waiting here to pay!" She said only "ok" and rang me up without acknowledging what had happened or my displeasure. No "I'm sorry for the wait," or anything else. It's pretty rare to receive customer service as bad as this. All the servers and hostesses had sweet and friendly attitudes, but ignored customers, and didn't seem to have a single clue about protocol and etiquette. What to say when things go wrong, etc. And I don't take kindly to being ignored. That was the final straw. The whole staff needs training. I may give you another chance because I love that I can drink fresh veggie juice there and there healthy options, but if it's like this again I won't be back. It kind of ruined Father's Day. read more

What a bright, airy, cute new place! Stopped there for a brunch break while biking. Noticed the big patio and decided to go for it! Greeted immediately once inside the door and escorted to our table on patio. It was quite hot so we were only ones on patio so we worried we might be ignored. No fear cuz our waitress (can't remember her name) did an awesome job! Great service. Brought extra water since we were parched from riding. Good menu-lots I would return to try. Good reasonable prices too. I had the BLTE (but with egg) sandwich. It came with nice mix of greens and not drenched in dressing. I usually get on the side but forgot to request, but it was perfect. Sandwich was big and yummy. Hubby had the pick 2 with tomato basil bisque and turkey sandwich. Again-lots of food and meat on sandwich. Bread was ok, not delicious. Also ordered an iced coffee which came with some kind of sweet stuff in it. It was good but wish I had known it would come that way. Should've asked I guess but menu didn't indicate. The restaurant wasn't full but busy enough. They are in good location and parking should be ok for breakfast/brunch since the lot gets really crowded in the evening with all of the new dining options here. Let me tell you, I am not a huge fan of breakfast food, but this place is so good. I usually will get the lemon pancakes with the million dollar bacon, but I love how they are always switching up their menu. Over the summer they come out with toast with fruit and honey on it, and the fruit is some of the freshest fruit I have ever had! Their juices are also very fresh. My family and I went for brunch on Ash Wednesday. Upon arrival we seated promptly in the cold back room where tables hadn't been bused and food was strewn about the floor. Our waitress, checked on a total of 3 times. To bring a hall full coffee carafe, take our order then drop off the check. The food was terrible, do you taste your food? I have been to First Watch on several occasions and have yet to be disappointed. It is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The first time I had the Farm Skillet with scrambled eggs. It was most delicious and what I expected. My 2nd time I tried the Chickichanga. This is not typically something that I would order. The Vera Cruz sauce is what made this special. The Chickichanga was just spicy enough and filling. The last visit I had the Tri Fecta with scrambled eggs, sausage and a waffle. My company had the same thing with scrambled eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes. The sausage was a little spicy and the waffle perfectly fluffy. I tried the blueberry pancakes which were exceptional. However, both my eggs and my companions eggs and bacon were over done. The wait staff was a little frazzled on this visit as well. Overall I say this is a wonderful spot that I will continue to visit. read more

Alright...3rd times a charm yeah? NOT! Our waitress was ok, nice enough but nothing over the top, she asked once if our food was tasting ok but it was only 2 min after our food hit the table so all I had bitten into at that point was my toast, it's pretty hard to mess that up lol. Sooooo I ordered a veggie omelette and again the veggies were hard and the mushrooms were all wet and soggy...I don't know what they do to their veggies but they are not tasty at all...Zero flavor and dried up wet and almost nauseating to look at. Okay this was their chance to make a good impression...I go up to pay and the girl at the register says "do you have your ticket?" I was expecting a "hi how was everything today," she couldn't smile she was rude and honestly made me want to punch her in the face but I'm sure that would have been frowned upon. She literally told me the total swiped my card and that was the entire interaction, all with a grumpy face and negative energy spilling out of her wretched little lifeless soul. This place sucks! The worst part about all of this is that I LOVE their veggie juices and now I can't even go back to enjoy those. I don't have enough good things to say about this place. I was so excited to finally have it here in CO as the only times I've ever had it was in Ohio. You have to get the app and put your name on their list and now you are being tracked. No thank you. Their food is not that good and their services isn't that good. A friend and I stopped into First Watch on a Wednesday morning for a late breakfast and it was delicious. The server was a "bit much" for me before I'd had any coffee but dialed it back because she was awesome at "reading the room." My friend ordered a skillet and I ordered a blueberry pancake with a side of turkey sausage. The first pancake came out a bit on the cold side which she took back and straighten out for me. The second was piping hot with blueberries bursting in my mouth with every bite. It was fluffy and light and I slathered it with butter and just a drizzle of syrup. It was delicious. Hesitant on giving a 3 start review I really wanted to give it a 2stars. Only thing that saved them was the manager comping my friends food due to her food coming out last and even later than all the tables around us that were seated way after us. The wait takes forever and I just feel if it takes long to make food don't sit people down to sit them down if the wait is still gonna take forever. Our waitress I noticed DIDNT charge the tables next to us for 4 items and the table brought it up to her attention and she did it as a favor to them. But here she comes knowing our wait took longer and our food was the last to come out even when the tables around us were seated 10-30mins after us. And charged us for everything. We finished the water right in front of her and it took her 30mins to fill it up again. She didn't check on us much. My friends food came out 10mins after the whole table and the tables around us. And we all ordered simple French toast, pancakes, and the traditional. I was highly upset. I was watching our waitress the whole time engage with other customers in a cheery way and when she came to us it seemed like she didn't even want to communicate with us and was very short and blew us off. She constantly checked on the tables around us and only checked on us once. I can't say enough good things about any and every First Watch. I'm from Florida where there are a lot of First Watch's and it is a fan favorite. When I moved out to Colorado, I was a bit disappointed. Lucky me I found this one! The 3 times I've been there so far I have had no wait, the food is amazing, and the service is always kind.
