This was my first time eating here, and I honestly didn't know what to expect--but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a cute little diner-style, mom-and-pop-feeling restaurant. I know they have locations in other states, but I had never heard of it before, and it definitely has that cozy, neighborhood vibe. They serve breakfast and lunch (I don't believe they do dinner). For breakfast, I ordered the Spinnaker, which is an egg-white omelette with spinach, bacon, cheese, and tomatoes. I added onions, and I believe mushrooms come on it as well. It comes with a side of what they call peasant potatoes--little square, chunky potatoes that are fried up perfectly. Let me just say... the omelette was absolutely delicious. You could taste every single flavor, and the seasoning was so good it was honestly mouth-watering. Nothing was bland, and everything worked perfectly together. The potatoes were crispy and flavorful, the coffee was good, and the portions were just right. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Mother son breakfast together. This location has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. We were welcomed in and seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and took our drink orders. My son got an OJ and I got coffee. She kept our water filled throughout our visit. I ordered the Hen Pen. A plate with two eggs, which I got sunny side up. I chose bacon for my meat and it came with a toasted English muffin. Everything was done to my liking and tasty. I liked having the small coffee pot on the table so I could refill my cup throughout. My son went for the Eighteen Wheeler. This was a hearty breakfast with two slices of French toast and a pair of eggs, which he also got sunny side up. This is an all-time favorite. Loved the restaurant since I was a kid, but I'm a long way from the location I grew up with. Found this Westminster location to be my favorite Le Peep as my grown-up self! We've been coming here for about 15 years and a review is in order! Management and staff are consistent, which is always a good sign in a restaurant. The food is always delicious, from the Rock Lobster Scramble, breakfast burrito, skillet dishes, waffles and pancakes. Even during busy times, the volume is always acceptable so we can hear each other. The place is clean and service is always fast! (I recommend a Café Vienna to warm up with!) I have come here with my family for multiple breakfasts. Every time I have come I get the lovely waitress Nora. She is so kind, peppy, and a great server. I am vegetarian and gluten free and I really appreciate that they have a dedicated gluten free menu. I can't speak to if it would be safe for someone with celiac but it is safe enough for someone with a gluten intolerance like me. I have gotten their specialty French toast with gf bread, their gf English muffins, and their drifter skillet which is potato and veggie based. Their drinks are also fun and yummy. All of their food that I have tried is good, it's a breakfast chain so don't expect a novel culinary experience, but it's a good neighborhood breakfast place. read more

I had the day off so I thought it would be nice to treat my parents to breakfast out. We have always liked Le Peeps and we decided to try a different location. A bit out of the way. This location was open, sunny, with lots of windows. It was a week day so the place was pretty empty. To drink I had a latte. It was a on the bitter side. Probably they burned the milk. Next I ordered the Belgium waffle meal with scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. It took a long while for the food to come out. Which was no big deal as we were not in any hurry. But when the food came out it was on the cold side. So much so the butter didn't melt on the Belgium waffles. By the time it arrived, the table was hungry that we ate it anyway. My moms French toast super cold to the point that she was unable to eat it. I would say my food was okay. Everything was cooked fine, seasoned well, not burnt, but when you order breakfast you want it to come out at least warm. I don't think we will be going back there again. read more

I used to go to LePeep when I was a child with my dad on weekends when I was in Milwaukee and I thought they all went out of business. When I saw they were still in Denver I had to have breakfast there STAT. Service: 5 stars. Our waitress was the only one working and had a few tables already in her section and I was thinking this could be a mistake. It sure wasn't though. Our waitress was very professional and was able to handle all the tables with ease. Food: I got the wanderer skillet and it would have gotten 5 stars, but taking a star off due to the potatoes not being cooked long enough. Maybe the peasant potatoes are to big of cubes, but they should have been cooked longer. Otherwise I enjoyed the skillet. Ambiance: the restaurant was put together nicely and clean. When I come back I will make sure to tell them I want my potatoes cooked longer. read more

Service was super slow. Didn't even get a manager visit/apology after the disaster that was this whole meal. Restaurant was clearly a dumpster fire as we walked out. Bad service. Bad food. Expensive. I was served cold potatoes that were barely thawed from being frozen. They were dry and extremely salty. I asked for gluten free bread and I was given some nasty dry yellow muffin with no butter on it. I asked for turkey sausage and they gave me diced ham. I waited forever for the server to come check on us so I could let her know and by the time she came I was over it. I don't think this place has the ability to serve something even edible so there was no point in waiting for another meal. Here's our review: Lumber Jack - hubby said it was ok, and the pancakes I tasted were fluffy. We both agree that the best part was their Hawg Sausage..nice, plump, thick and juicy, but not oily. Gooey Buns - I was hoping it would've been similiar to Kouing aman, or a flaky croissant, they way the menu described, but it was tasty. Crabby Patty Benedict - Nice size,, but because ther fry the outer layer, you can't really taste the crab, but it was good. Though I prefer the way Mimi's Cafe makes theirs. You can really taste the crab, but it does fall apart much more. Tomatoe Juice - Now this, I had to add salt, lot's of peeper and tobasco. The low sodium V8 taste much better and I can't stant it. The atmosphere is cute and adorable as someone had described, they do have a lot of choices. I asked them to almost burn the English muffin on my eggs Benedict Needless to say the food came out my English muffin look like it never saw a toaster my wife and my potatoes were raw. Le Peep has a great summer brunch menu! The summer menu is a great reason to visit Le Peep as it is a seasonal menu and more affordable than the regular menu. The summer menu also appeared to have a Spanish flair as most of the dishes had Spanish names with Spanish styled meats. My only complaint is the size of this Le Peep, it was very snug and you have to squeeze between multiple tables to get to the restrooms. The wait staff was very friendly and the restaurant seemed clean overall. Also, Le Peep was one of the few places in town that didn't have a waiting time to sit down at a table. read more
