Carmel latte w/ oat milk

I have come here with my family for multiple breakfasts. Every time I have come I get the lovely waitress Nora. She is so kind, peppy, and a great server. I am vegetarian and gluten free and I really appreciate that they have a dedicated gluten free menu. I can't speak to if it would be safe for someone with celiac but it is safe enough for someone with a gluten intolerance like me. I have gotten their specialty French toast with gf bread, their gf English muffins, and their drifter skillet which is potato and veggie based. Their drinks are also fun and yummy. All of their food that I have tried is good, it's a breakfast chain so don't expect a novel culinary experience, but it's a good neighborhood breakfast place.

I had the day off so I thought it would be nice to treat my parents to breakfast out. We have always liked Le Peeps and we decided to try a different location. A bit out of the way. This location was open, sunny, with lots of windows. It was a week day so the place was pretty empty. To drink I had a latte. It was a on the bitter side. Probably they burned the milk. Next I ordered the Belgium waffle meal with scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. It took a long while for the food to come out. Which was no big deal as we were not in any hurry. But when the food came out it was on the cold side. So much so the butter didn't melt on the Belgium waffles. By the time it arrived, the table was hungry that we ate it anyway. My moms French toast super cold to the point that she was unable to eat it. I would say my food was okay. Everything was cooked fine, seasoned well, not burnt, but when you order breakfast you want it to come out at least warm. I don't think we will be going back there again.

We stopped in to have brunch today while on our vacation. We were seated almost immediately and the waitress was friendly. My husband had the Turkey panini with fruit and I had a skillet and GF English muffin. Our food came out quickly and was good and I was happy that they had GF English muffin and toast but I didn't see any mention of it on the menu, I asked about it. The restaurant is casual and low noise level.

I used to go to LePeep when I was a child with my dad on weekends when I was in Milwaukee and I thought they all went out of business. When I saw they were still in Denver I had to have breakfast there STAT. Service: 5 stars. Our waitress was the only one working and had a few tables already in her section and I was thinking this could be a mistake. It sure wasn't though. Our waitress was very professional and was able to handle all the tables with ease. Food: I got the wanderer skillet and it would have gotten 5 stars, but taking a star off due to the potatoes not being cooked long enough. Maybe the peasant potatoes are to big of cubes, but they should have been cooked longer. Otherwise I enjoyed the skillet. Ambiance: the restaurant was put together nicely and clean. When I come back I will make sure to tell them I want my potatoes cooked longer.

this is how potatoes should look not white and boiled

great place if you want to brush up on your spanish language skills. Been going to this restaurant for 30 plus years. Ordered 2 skillets. order came out wrong. Potatoes were white as if boiled not a bit of brown on them anywhere. ordered no butter on muffin sure enough wrong. My Suggestion. To those who own this business. Time to sell, its obvious your heart is not in it anymore. Sell to someone who will take pride in what they do and serve. if you need me to show you how to cook potatoes I can come up and show you. I make about $200/hour so I'll come up and teach you how to make good food. Now will I come back to eat there, after being a customer for 30 years or more? Not at this time. Maybe someday but not for the foreseeable future. Fix your issues. see photo for how pototates SHOULD LOOK. adiós amigos

It's been a while since I've been to one of these, doesn't appear a whole lot is changed. Stood a little longer than I cared for when we arrived, they were for employees getting tables ready for a big crowd I think they thought we were part of that crowd? Anyway after they asked and we clarified we were seated quickly. There were six of us, the waitress was nice but failed to check back and forgot a couple of side items we had asked for. It's been a while since I've been to one of these, doesn't appear a whole lot is changed. Anyway after they asked and we clarified we were seated quickly. There were six of us, the waitress was nice but failed to check back and forgot a couple of side items we had asked for. That being said I had the hash everybody else at different meals and I believe everyone enjoyed their meal except the man across from me was not given an option on his sausage and ended up with turkey sausage which she did not like. I would go back but would not rush...

Buttery eggs, bacon, and potatoes

We just went into a different La Peeps this morning and we're so disappointed. They took the Churro French toast off the menu. I hope they bring it back!

Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating.

The atmosphere is another highlight calm , cozy, and inviting with the feel of a comfortable home-style breakfast setting. For our meal I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, scrambled eggs and potatoes while my spouse had a BLT with potatoes. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were well prepared and enjoyable and my spouse was satisfied with their dish except how her lettuce and tomatoes were soggy. Unfortunately the chicken fried chicken was undercooked. At the time I didn't immediately realize this as the texture seemed soft due to the gravy. It wasn't until later that I recognized the issue and I ended up feeling unwell after the meal. This was very disappointing and ultimately impacted my overall experience. While the service and ambiance were strong positives the food safety concern is significant. I hope the restaurant takes extra care in the kitchen moving forward.

Unfortunately they ran out of tofu so I ordered regular tofu (not the same), but I thought the BYO breakfast sandwich was decent. I also ordered a hot latte which came out cold. I can count on one hand the amount of times I sent something back at a restaurant - I sent it back. It came out as cool as the other side of the pillow. Located in a strip mall, with ample free parking, we found this little gem. There was a 20% off check-in offer that convinced us to give them a shot. On entry, we were asked if we'd been in before & given process instructions. Fast Casual - cool. Easy enough: take menus, sit (inside or out) and pick, return to the counter to order & pay (show check-in offer when ordering), take your table number & sit back down. Your food comes out, you eat, clear your table & exit. Don't think that means you'll be ignored tho. The staff are happy to help! Service was fast, staff are friendly & in excellent spirits - no grumpy people either day. Bonus for remembering us on our return. Prices were reasonable for quality & servings plenty big. They initially forgot the drinks on our 1st visit, then refunded them for the delay. This wasn't necessary but was appreciated. I mean, we did come back the next day, both to show our appreciation & because it really was fabulous. Those dippy d's - so simple, yet so good. The Cubano Quesadilla was only slightly preferred over the BIG Breakfast Burrito. On day 2, we split the 3pc & Quesadilla- perfect amount for the 2 of us. Just now getting ready to look for our lunch spot & book marked these guys for our next visit! 5/5 on everything - I do mean everything!

I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. I had to ask the hostess to ask our waitress to bring our drinks because we never saw our waitress again after placing our order. She brought the waters and 1 minute later our food arrived lukewarm. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. We also liked that they leave the carafe of coffee at the table as that's usually what we need the most, refills. That's why I feel they could stand to come a bit less since they solved the refill problem. The ambience is great. I love the idea of community tables and wooden booths and tables everywhere. I also liked seeing the place but not super-packed so you can't get a seat quickly. Sometimes I think with breakfast places, they strive for lines out the door constantly, but I prefer a place that hovers at that good 70% to 80% capacity mark. I like being able to sit when I want to come but the place still doing well enough to be thriving. All in all, this place is great and I hope California gets their location soon.
