My friend and I came for breakfast shortly after opening. They were kind enough hold the door open for me to bring in my friend and to remove a chair so she could be at the table in her chair. The coffee was hot and our server brought us regular cream as neither of us drinks the flavored creams. The sweetener selection was nice. I had the Elevated Egg Sandwich. It had bacon, an over-easy egg, Gruyère, avocado, mayo and arugula with lemon dressing on a brioche bun. It came with a side of seasoned breakfast potatoes. I would totally get this one again. Delicious. We took our time and had conversation while sipping our coffee. Our server checked on us regularly. I did need to remember to go up front to pay. I always forget that I need to do that here. A note for anyone needing ADA accommodation. This is not a First Watch thing, but the parking lot. So no shade to them. The ADA spot just west of the entrance, in front of Snarfs, has a concrete wheelstop between it and the sidewalk which impedes if you have a chair. read more

This was a great spot for breakfast! First Watch also serves lunch & brunch - open daily from 7AM - 2:30PM. We arrived on a busy Tuesday morning & were greeted & seated immediately. The host was very welcoming, as well as our server. Our server was quite attentive too. The farm decor was cute & I especially appreciated how clean the restaurant was, including the bathrooms. There was plenty of parking. I ordered the Tri-Fecta breakfast. This included two eggs, which I substituted for tossed greens with a lemon vinaigrette dressing, a Belgium waffle & bacon. This was delicious...a crispy waffle but soft & fluffy inside, nice flavor, served with jam & maple syrup, yummy crisp bacon & a light salad. We decided to try this establishment again after having a bad experience a few years back. Nothing has changed except the menu a bit. Soggy bacon, no cheese in scrambled eggs as advertised and all around a lackluster meal. Won't be going back. The staff looked angry and unhappy. read more

I cannot give higher praises for this location! They were able to accommodate our large group with very short notice. Often times, after our hockey games, a lot of families want to get food. When this happens, we are often given grief and push back by restaurants because of our large group sizes. We understand the complexity of these situations, so a certain amount of push back is what we're used to. We got none of that from the amazing folks here! Our server was amazing and proactive in organizing whose order went to whose ticket as the kiddos wanted to sit with each other versus their parents. I wish I got his name so he could be recognized. Terrible service on 12/26. Was first seated at a table with a huge portion of food on the floor. Asked to be moved to another table and was accommodated. Waits another maybe 8 minutes for a server to show up. He arrived with no water, no coffee but took our complete order for food and drinks. Another 8-10 minutes goes by with no drinks or even water delivered. I asked a busboy for some water which prompted the server to come to our table. He placed a tray on our table with our drinks and walked away without saying one word. This was rude, and a bit gross as well. He was better afterwards but that act was really unnecessary. This was SUNNY SEOUL HASH. It was shaved seared pork tossed with freshly seasoned potatoes, diced red bell peppers, kimchi, with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. On top of that, I had two over medium eggs, scallions, sesame seeds and gochujang aioli. The concept was good, but the execution was poor. The eggs were over easy, the potatoes had both under and over done pieces. And, the entire thing ate very salty. The non salty, non charred bits were okay. It needed more meat and more kimchi. Our dining experience here was great, right up until the hollandaise sauce hit my tongue. Heavy lemon!! Lemon sauce is more like it. The potatoes didn't seem fully cooked, and the chicken sausage resembled a frozen chicken patty. The waiter stopped by to ask how everything was. I told him about the hollandaise and he said "okay". That was the last we saw of him until I flagged him down for the check. Overall, nice place, good prompt and friendly service. Although I was treated to breakfast by my family, the experience of those of us who ordered any of the benedict options were left disappointed due to a lack of quality assurance / skipped step in the kitchen. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict. The bread was good, the salmon was good. The side salad was fine. Unfortunately the "poached" eggs were as close to raw as could be while still (barely) holding its shape. I knew when the plate was put before me and saw how sagging the eggs were. (see picture) Also they were room temperature at best, so I assume the kitchen pre-poaches them for maybe 1.5-2 minutes and is supposed to finish them in boiling water for service? This obviously did not happen. Sadly, the hollandaise sauce was similarly not warmed either. You may ask "why didn't you send it back"? Frankly I'm super paranoid that someone in the kitchen gets mad and does something gross to my food. So I just scraped the egg of onto the plate and ate around it. The service was on-point except not noticing the problem with the benedicts. Coffee was refilled and our order came out together for the whole table. Servers were friendly and quick. People who didn't order benedicts were perfectly fine with their meals. Ambiance is chill and the place is clean. All in all we had three people with undercooked eggs and "cold" hollandaise. My mom is in her 80s and she actually ate the near raw egg, which is a huge risk. We dined in on Sunday 9/8/2024 at 10am. read more

Such a cute spot. We ordered take out from them awhile back and more than half our order was missing so I wanted to come in to give it a second chance. We started with all the drinks - honey Carmel crunch iced coffee, purple haze and watermelon wake up. All were really good. Juice is fresh squeezed daily! The honey caramel crunch ice coffee was really chocolately in flavor. We also got the million dollar bacon which was good! We then ordered the avocado toast, which I asked for with smoked salmon. Didn't come with the smoked salmon but it was on our bill, which they took off. I was a bit disappointed as there really wasn't a substantial amount of avocado on the toast and it wasn't seasoned and there was no toppings on it - very bland. My fiancé got the Bacado Omelette, which didn't blow him away but wasn't terrible. We then got the sweet pecan honey salad, which I've had before and really liked. There was no dressing on it (or barely any to be noticeable) so we had to ask for more on the side. But other than that it was probably the second best thing we had next to the drinks. The service was average, we had to flag down the server a few times. We never got water when we sat down and when we asked we got water in plastic cups? That was really odd when other tables around us got water right away with glass cups. Our server never really checked on us once we got our food, we had to flag him down to ask for dressing and he made no mention to the fact that I never got the smoked salmon. This is still our go-to breakfast place. Today - Wow!. If I could give six stars I would! Meal was excellent. My wife and I each had the Farmhouse Hash. Delicious and big portions, extra large eggs. Mine came with a fresh, flaxy biscuit. Perhaps a new coffee vendor - coffee was tasty and we received cups to-go! Service has always been my hot button and today it was just perfect. Yummy brunch and no wait time! We got there at 10 and didn't have to wait. They do have a virtual line you can put your name on. Just make sure you know which location you're looking at! I overheard multiple people had their name on the wrong Arvada location list. The coffee was meh - nothing special diner coffee, but they give you a large carafe which was nice. I didn't ask but on the table they only provide you the packaged containers of "creamer." The food was really good- my friend and I both enjoyed our meals. Our family of seven met at this location Sunday morning at 8:45 for breakfast. We called in earlier to get on the waitlist and still waited 25 minutes. We had a variety of the menu items and were served about 15 minutes after ordering, except for one of us. He waited an additional five minutes. All of the food was delicious and PRICEY. The restaurant is clean and pleasant and the servers checked in on us often and took good care of us. read more

Great place for families to enjoy a good breakfast! Came here with my sister, brother-in-law, nieces, etc. and they treated us with grace and had a lot of patience. We needed three tables and we constantly were asking for things because our little ones were always needing more napkins. The food was wonderful! I highly recommend the turkey wrap. I really love the farmhouse skillet, they always fill up my coffee to the brim. What about this place and it really is the only brunch place around. Not sure why it gets such a bad wrap, but we love coming here and we will continue to come here because it's close to my mom's house . I'm surprised by the overall rating here - First Watch on the west side of Arvada is one of the best breakfast and lunch options outside of Olde Town. This place is consistently and reliably delicious. They have a dog friendly patio and indoor seating. Their juices and smoothies are excellent. I especially like their turmeric, ginger, and beet juice. I haven't had a bad dish here, and probably go here once every 4-6 weeks. Sweet or savory - they kill it! Healthy dishes are also satisfying and filling - you don't feel like you're missing out choosing something less naughty. Well, they bought the old Egg and I. It wasn't pretty. The owners said there were some threats and strong-handed tactics to gain this location, which was not cool. Food; Tastes fine, but the price reflects a new business trying to recoup their cost amidst a pandemic. Quality of food is maybe a 3/5 for me. They do not bring anything new to the breakfast world, just a stronger financial backing maybe?? Atmosphere is visually appealing, I think that monetary expense is being recovered via the menu. The seasoned potatoes are delicious and well seasoned and tasty! Great on their own or drizzled with hot sauce! We are frequent patrons of First Watch and have gone to many locations in Colorado, as well as in other states. We typically love the food at First Watch, but yesterday was the very first time we have had a negative experience. I ordered the Avocado Toast and I was very surprised that they served me this very unappetizing, awful-tasting blackened avocado mess! (In case the cook didn't know, blackened avocados taste bitter, not to mention very unappealing)! I am shocked that they would even try serving it this way for $14! If the avocado is bad, they should have used another one. Avocado Toast is not that hard to make! The waitress was pleasant enough and apologized, and offered to replace the toast with another. We first said yes, but noticed she did not even head back to the kitchen to give the replacement order. We waited 10 minutes and by that time my husband had already finished his meal and we didn't have time to wait longer, so we cancelled the Avocado Toast replacement. I came home and made my own, and was much better than the blackened mess at First Watch. So please, First Watch, do not serve blackened avocados to your patrons! The staff was very friendly for our Sunday brunch. That's about the nicest thing I can say, unfortunately, as the rest of the meal was one disappointment after another. It started by the server forgetting to bring out the maple syrup for the French Toast. Quick question: Why are servers still transporting syrup in 2022? You're doing breakfast for hundreds of hungry people. LEAVE THE SYRUP ON THE TABLE! I guarantee every table is going to need syrup sooner or later. It's not going to spoil. Are you worried people are going to steal it? Have you received a litany of complaints from people outraged that syrup is conveniently within reach during breakfast? Is there a massive, unreported syrup shortage plaguing this great nation and our fine neighbors to the North?! If you answered "no" to these questions, there's no reason this needs to be an issue at all. Easy fix. Keep the syrup on the table. Done Outside of the syrup oversight, we were also charged for an item we didn't order. Worse, our server even ASKED US if we had ordered it, we said "no" and then we got charged for it anyhow. The service had already been slow to this point and this led to another delay getting the erroneous item removed. This brings me to my next point, and I'm directing it to all the servers out there: YOU NEED TO WRITE THE ORDER DOWN! I don't care if it's midnight on a Tuesday and there's one person in the whole restaurant who only wants coffee. Write it down. You will screw up something at some point and when you do, it will lead to more mistakes, which means a bad experience for them and less money for you. Doing something right the first time is always faster than doing a crappy job twice. Finally, the food here is just OK. Eggs are eggs. Have you had eggs before? They're exactly like that. The pancakes and toast and all that is fine - nothing to write home about. They only offer those little plastic creamer cups (like you'd get at a Denny's) instead of actual milk or half and half, which is a pretty big letdown for serious coffee drinkers. The coffee itself tastes a little "burned" for my taste. Finally, this place isn't a very good value. Breakfast for two people (with tip) came out to about $60. I didn't know they charged more than $5 for a glass of juice, either. They also charged about $2.50 for a sprinkling of cheese mixed in with the scrambled eggs. In short, don't go out of your way to eat here. It's overpriced and has bad service. The food isn't good enough to put up with both. read more

We made reservations for 930 this past Sunday. We arrived at 920. We saw no less than three groups walk in and get seated. We assumed that they had reservations. At 945 we were told that we were fourth in line. I understand that they were busy. However the two people at the front were just outmatched by a Sunday crowd. I assume that when reservations are made, the store should do their best to have a table open at the reservation time. That didn't happen. They acknowledged that there was a reservation. My Chickichanga was warm--not hot--when delivered. The accompanying potatoes were also warm and way too salty. No strawberries in the fruit cup. The Chickichanga was bland. Like Kentucky bland. I am from out of town and this was my first visit. We had an excellent breakfast. Was told almost anything could be made gluten free. Ordered Eggs Benedict with salmon and enjoyed.
