Fantastic havarti and roast beef sandwich! My buddy and I found a busy Saturday brunch spot with overflowing hungry people. Got a table after a fifteen minute wait, great staff, big fun menu, and wanted to try a lot more than we could've at one noon meal. Hope to get back, a lot of pleasant surprises too like the soup added onto the sandwich and good variety of beverages. Top rated!

We went in Sunday afternoon and this place still had people rolling in. We were able to grab seats on a community table right away where we share a table with strangers. Didn't have to wait so it was convenient. Food was served on time and staff were attentive. We learned about this place watching the GoodGood golf show on YouTube. The million dollar bacon was awesome. Can't wait to go back!!

I went all in with the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Million Dollar Potatoes, and I must say --this combo delivered. The pancakes had just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The lemon flavor was bright without being overpowering, and the ricotta added this creamy richness that made every bite feel indulgent but still light. The syrup was warm and the perfect finish. And those Million Dollar Potatoes lived up to their namesake: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with savory, herby goodness. They were the perfect contrast to the pancakes and could stand alone on their own. Our server, Shaye, was amazing. Personable, attentive and professional! I look forward to my next visit.

Great customer service at this location. The food was decent. I ordered the breakfast sandwich but was not impressed at all. I asked for the potatoes to be fully cooked and they were not and the sandwich didn't have a taste to it except it was very buttery. I was craving First Watch for a while so thought we would stop by but it didn't hit the spot like I was hoping.

The service here is outstanding! The food taste is amazing as well! The morning meditation was French and crisp for juice, tasted like it was freshly juiced! The avocados were ripe and with a squeeze of lemons, tastes phenomenal! The eggs were also cooked to perfection! The server Lou and the management here are outstanding, quick, caring and they really took care of us! The restaurant was busy but cozy! We will be returning here they really handled everything so nicely!

Use their own farm fresh ingredients used to cook good quality food. So glad the have turkey sausage option, even have a turkey sausage biscuits and gravy option! The pancakes are huge take up the whole plate and very flavorful. I had the fall special honey Chipotle chicken dish and subscribe the bacon out for turkey sausage. It comes in a bowl with potatoes, eggs however you like, Avocado, crema sauce and sweet picked onions. Also got a sharable order of cinnamon apple donut holes with Carmel drippings sauce and icing. Wow! Everything was good, added a little pepper and salt to my entrée and it was just fine. I love the fresh food and the taste. What I don't like is the set up of the entrance/exit/waiting/payment area... that's right all crammed together in one place I tried using the app to schedule my arrival time and the app said that part wasn't available. If they have such a limited space/area to wait, I need to app to work. Our server was decent and pleasant. The restaurant itself is nice, bathrooms decent. They have outdoor eating but it was a little too chilly today. I would have loved to go outside so I didn't feel so cramped. Everything is great except the cramped space

12.17.25 first time visit for me, went with my work dept of 7 for a holiday celebration / breakfast. The morning meditation juice is to die for, and so pretty. I couldve had several of those! The food was tasty. Hot coffee was flowing. I loved that they brought coffee right away and kept a carafe on our table. I had the salmon eggs benedict, so good! Other dishes our party had inlcuded the salmon fritata, breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy, and the seasonal pancake (see pics). And they didn't pressure us at all to clear out; we were in fact quite leisurely and really enjoyed our time there chatting. #yum #ReviewsByRL

I love going to First Watch for breakfast! It's always a great experience. It can get pretty busy, especially on Sundays, so be prepared for a little wait, but it's absolutely worth it. I always order the Farmhouse Scramble because it has a little bit of everything I love: potatoes, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, eggs, and I always add extra cheese. It's delicious every time! If you haven't been to First Watch yet, it's definitely a must try spot for breakfast lovers.

We held our department meeting at First Watch this morning, and it was a fantastic experience all around. The restaurant seated us at their spacious community table, which comfortably fit our group of 7 but with space for 10 and still allowed for a private and productive discussion. The team had nothing but praise for the service, coffee, and food. I personally enjoyed the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee from the summer menu -- I'm still thinking about how good it was! Portion sizes were generous, and the food was top notch. I had the Chili Chorizo Omelette and my goodness was it one of the best omelette's I've had in a long time. We'll definitely be keeping this spot in mind for future meetings.

This is one of my favorite places for brunch as they offer gluten free options that are REAL food not just fruit or vegetables as Gluten free. My meal was bursting with flavor and filling!! Our server was great she had patience with my allergy needs. The atmosphere was relaxed.

Skipped Lavender Lemonade

I recently enjoyed First Watch in Indianapolis. The Spiked Lavender Lemonade, featuring Vodka, lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea, lavender, was a refreshing and light choice. Surprisingly, it had no noticeable taste of alcohol, making it perfect for those seeking a light, enjoyable drink--though it might be a bit dangerous at a girls' brunch! The highlight of my visit was the Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast. The thick-cut bread, topped with lemon cream, fresh blackberries, mixed berry compote, creme anglaise, and spiced gingerbread cookie crumbles, was a dream. The lemon cream, in particular, was so delicious that it could be enjoyed on its own... I want it for my morning toast! The dish was lightly dusted with powdered cinnamon sugar, adding a perfect finishing touch. I could eat this every week. The service was excellent, and we did have a newer server who was very nice and attentive. He took the time to double and triple check for food allergies, handling everything with care. The coffee, though I didn't inspect it closely, turned out to be very good. As a Nespresso machine owner and a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, I had four cups--an indicator of its quality. Overall, a great experience!!

First Watch is one of our favorite spots for breakfast and brunch, offering a wide variety of options for everyone to enjoy. We always do the get in line option on their website that allows us to quickly be seated. We also do the mobile checkout for a quick exit. The welcoming service and spacious, family-friendly ambiance makes you feel right at home.

I also appreciate that the bar tables are first come, first served. Lately, I've been getting the trio medallions with mashed potatoes and broccoli, chefs kiss! So good every time. Great atmosphere, service that stayed attentive across the whole table all night, and a room that made a work dinner feel like an actual night out. No small thing for a group that size. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla with fresh salsa and guacamole. Everything tasted like it was made that day. The quesadilla was crispy, well filled, and gone faster than I planned. The DT Old Fashioned was well built and needed no explanation. Both did their jobs. Gratuity was already added for the group, which is fair. The check split individually without drama. We asked 7-8 different staff members for help, and each time we were told they would "figure it out," but no one ever followed through. We eventually spoke with the manager, who was able to put the game on for us. However, after we had already spent over $100 on food and drinks and had been sitting at our table for a few hours, he switched the game to something else for another group who had not even purchased anything. When we asked him to switch it back, he refused. We tried to find the manager again after this interaction, but he continued sending other staff members to our table instead of speaking with us directly. Unfortunately, none of them were able to help. We waited approximately 30 minutes before someone finally came over and was able to get the game back on. What made this experience especially frustrating is that this is a sports bar with a large number of TVs, and we were simply asking to watch a game while actively spending money at the establishment. It was incredibly disappointing to feel ignored and unimportant after repeatedly asking for help. If you're not a Colts or Bears fan, I would absolutely not recommend this location for game day unless you're prepared to feel invisible and undervalued as a customer. Our server was wonderful, but the way the management and other staff handled this situation completely overshadowed the positive parts of our experience.

My spouse had a short stack of pancakes, which she liked. The food also came out hot, which is so important for breakfast food. Kudos on that! I only gave four stars, however, because the shortage of staff on the Saturday noon we ate was evident and really degraded the whole experience. When we arrived there were dirty dishes stacked on every empty table in the restaurant. The employees did their best to be friendly but it was clear they were harassed, and the service was incredibly slow. I would estimate that it took about 25 minutes (maybe 30) from the time we ordered until we got our food. During that time we weren't offered a coffee refill until the food arrived, and the water we asked for didn't arrive until our food did. We didn't even see our waitress for about 20 minutes, and this isn't a big restaurant. I realize that every restaurant struggles to find enough employees in the current environment. Maybe we just need to eat out less and cook at home more. But it's hard when you're traveling, as we are. This restaurant has the food down, but the service is a problem, or at least it was today. I remember eating at LePeep in Castleton 30 years ago and it was fabulous. But you can't do it without workers.

I always order the Cuban when a new restaurant has one on the menu, and Big Lug's did not disappoint. It was juicy, flavorful, and one of the better Cubans I've had in a while. On my second visit, I went with the blackened cod tacos on corn tortillas (you can also get flour tortillas, and they offer shrimp and breaded fish options). They were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Both visits I ordered the spicy garlic cauliflower, and it was outstanding. The homemade blue cheese dressing took it to another level. If you're on the fence about ordering it, don't be--it was one of my favorite things on the menu. The outdoor walk-up bar creates a really cool, laid-back atmosphere, making it a great place to relax whether you're meeting friends or just enjoying a meal by yourself. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and both meals came out quickly. I don't usually eat at the same restaurant twice on a trip, but Big Lug earned it. We sat right in the middle of the main thoroughfare and were completely ignored for at least 15 minutes before we finally flagged someone down. The guy, "H," apologized and said, "Oh, my bad--it's all good." We figured, no big deal, let's move on. We ordered pretty simple food, apps and were then going to put in some entrees once apps arrived. We asked for waters and a water bowl for our pups. He brought two waters--with no straws--and no dog bowl. We assumed he was going to grab the bowl, so we waited... and waited. Then I noticed him at the end of the bar leaning against some boxes, texting. So I finally got up, interrupted him and asked for the dog bowl. His response, "oh my bad." Our appetizers came out, and naturally, we asked for silverware. A few minutes later, I spotted "H" in the corner on his phone again. At that point I was thinking, seriously?! So I got up again, interrupted "H's" text convo and asked for silverware. His response again was, "Oh, my bad." I didn't respond to him I just turned around and went back to my seat. Honestly, the whole experience started feeling more like a self-serve restaurant than table service. It's a chill spot and we weren't being needy whatsoever. We never asked for any refills- we were merely asking for the basics. We wanted to order more food, but by that point we were pretty turned off and decided to just get the check. Then came the final straw: my guy had his license and credit card sitting on the table because he hadn't brought his wallet out for our monon trek. When "H" came back with the checkout thing, without question or hesitation - he grabbed the card and swiped it. We didn't even realize what happened until afterward. Maybe that's standard there, but I've never had a server just take my card without asking. Usually you get a "hey do we want to use this card? Or something to confirm. And of course the tip structure is skewed so the min is 20% unless you want to try to figure out to manually enter in 15% (which most ppl don't -incl my guy), so we left 20% and left irritated and still hungry. "H" didn't seem hungover or anything--he just genuinely seemed like he did not not give a shiiiit. We had to get up three separate times to get things we had already requested: the dog bowl, a couple straws, and silverware. (Basics) And a quick note on the 7-Layer Hoss Dip: don't expect seven layers. It comes in a small thick ceramic bowl and was basically beans, guacamole, a tiny bit of corn and some hard cheese on top. Definitely would not recommend it. Way too "beany" and not worth $16 at all. The southwest rolls were decent- very fried tho. Cheesecake Factory's are better ;) The location and dog-friendly atmosphere are great, with the exception of the homeless camp right at their patio entrance, but unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Hopefully this was just an off night, because Big Lug has a lot going for it.
