Let me start with this....the food is really good, even better than Egg and I. Now the rest of the challenge. This restaurant is poorly run. I was told 20 minute wait and there were several ahead of me waiting. BUT, there were 9 tables with no one sitting at them. Some were clean, others needed to be cleaned. After approx 20 minutes I was seated at one of those tables that had been open and clean the entire time I waited. It's an easy way to fix this poor service. The staff and manager need more training. They seat everyone in order of when they signed in regardless of the size of the party. So even if there are multiple two tops available all twosomes will wait until larger parties who could not use those tables are seated. That day there was a party of 7 holding up the seating of everyone who could have used the 2-tops and 4-tops. Additionally the staff walked past 3 2-tops to seat a couple of 2 at a 4-top. So, they need training, or I'm happy to spend a day showing them the more efficient way of seating crowds for some comped meals. The crowd waiting was extremely frustrated. Finally, for a point of reference, this same method of seating has been used every time I'm there. (I live close so go often for breakfast) read more

The food is okay. It is over priced to me. I prefer ihop, Waffle House, or toasted yolk if I want something more fancy to be honest. The staff is nice but always busy there so the service is slow. read more

This used to be The Egg and I but now changed to First Watch. We didn't have to wait that long and when we ordered our food it didn't take long for us to get it. The food was delicious and I really like all their healthy options and fresh juices. We will definitely go again! read more

This is a cute place with great service and a tasty looking menu. I loved my breakfast of smoked salmon and tzatziki cream cheese toast. It had everything I loved on one plate (minus the eggs). If I had it my way, I would have loved to have had two slices of toast and no eggs. The prices are a bit more than some of the other local spots for breakfast, but what I appreciated here was the plates are a bit more adventurous. There was a lack of salt issue, on both mine and my husband's plate; however, I don't see that to be a problem when you can simply add to your own taste. read more

I tried first watch for the first time yesterday and it was amazing!! I got the traditional breakfast, million dollar bacon , and the golden glow as my drink. The million dollar bacon was sooooo yummmy dripping in honey. The golden glow drink had pineapple, turmeric, and orange juice I think. Everything was extremely fresh except for my boiled eggs. I am pretty sure they were pre-boiled. That is my only complaint. read more

My family, especially my daughter, loves this place. With the "get in line" feature on the First Watch app we have no problems getting in line before leaving the house. Then when we arrive we only have to wait 5 minutes or so for a table. I love the fact there are First Watch locations throughout the country. We travel a lot so we can have our familiar fare in Georgia, Virginia, Texas, etc. And in case you are wondering if the food quality is the same throughout the different locations, the answer is yes. Lastly, if you can't/won't to go to their location I would recommend the cookbook. it has a lot of their favorites listed so you can get your favorite even though you never leave home. My only complaint is the meal sizes. i wish some of the meals were smaller and therefore cheaper. I always need a to go box because I can't finish my meal which is inconvenient when we are traveling. A family of 4 can easily cost $60. read more

My sister came in town from Chile and she's vegetarian so we went here and everything was exceptional from the customer service, our waiter was so attentive and the best! We tried First Watch this morning (day after Christmas) for breakfast with family before we headed back out of town (Dallas). I have to say I LOVED the Farmhouse decor however the service needs attention! We had to wait a good 45 minutes to get our food, our server never checked on us, we had to hunt down someone for more coffee while waiting an extended amount of time for food and our server forgot about my sons order. They brought our food out in shifts (meals weren't brought out all at same time). They'd bring two meals out, then a bit later another two meals...there were six people in our party. So no one wanted to start eating till everyone got their food! The waiter staff and timing of food delivery needs serious attention!! However, food was appealing, look great & tasted good when it all arrived!! Wish I would have taken pictures of the decor...really farmhouse charming!! read more

A makeover of Egg and I with a healthy concept. Nice contemporary interior with good selection of breakfast items. Only noticeable ding is they do not have any good chicken centric dishes. We tried their standard breakfast menu. The food portions were good, flavors were good to average. We were bit bummed to see salad greens on a breakfast plate instead of the potatoes the menu described! Overall experience was good and I feel there's potential for more flavors in their menu options. And I will hope they will add few chicken options in their skillets and Benedicts. read more

Great place to eat. Food is always good. Love the traditional breakfast, omelettes and specials. Mimosas are really along with coffee. I care here in my birthday for brunch and my waiter honestly couldn't care less. It was a very average place and nothing really jumps out at you off the menu for being delicious. First time coming here, but frequented the place when it was The Egg & I. There's no comparison. The decor is cute and the menu is very different. The choices are on the healthier side which is a plus, but their versions of local favorites was a disappointment for me and my family. The gravy from the biscuits and gravy was not very flavorful. The grits weren't even palatable and my daughters breakfast tacos were lacking in a major way. The only tasty part of our breakfast was my son's bacon which was $4.99 for 4 slices. I posted a good review and the manager posted a response ( thank you) but I think you were completely missing or not reading my post. Breakfast was very good. I am diabetic so I cannot have the sugar. You have limited the sweetener options to only Stevia ( no other choices even if you ask) so if I order coffee there are many people ( trust me I am not the only one out here ) that gets no sweet taste from Stevia So if I want to get a cup of coffee with breakfast I can drink it black or bring my own sweetener? My friend and I came here for breakfast on this Sat. The visit did not start out well. My friend wanted coffee and due to a miscommunication she didn't get any cream. Once it was cleared up it took a while to get the creamer. No problem, now we just need to get the food... So a short time later it came out and it was cold. Hers because it sat too long, mine (salmon eggs benedict) because it had lox when I was thinking it would have cooked salmon. Takes forever to get a seat after 9 AM (duh). They pack people in like sardines so it also took more than an hour after being seated to get served. The food would have been absolutely delicious if it was closer to "hot" rather than "lukewarm." Excellent food. Very organic and fresh. The omelette was terrific and definitely fills you up. They look like they have a really good brunch as well but unfortunately I won't be in town long enough to try it.
