For the last year, my wife and I went to First Watch almost every Saturday morning. We have witnessed how service and food quality have been decreasing slowly. I noted that the place does not have the same demand it used to have; we use to wait for 10 to 15 min to get a table. Not anymore. Last Saturday, the fruit was rotten. I ordered a Salmon Frittata and got a vegetable one. After another 10minutes the waitress brought me my order except it was messed up again. The lettuce was old. The waitress apologized but, no manager or discount. We are looking for another place for our Saturday mornings conversations. Great neighborhood chain option for lunch and breakfast. Fresh food and made to order. Sometimes you have to wait pretty long on The Weekends for breakfast or lunch but it's usually worth it. The omelets alone are worth the wait. There aren't many other fresh egg options around here for good omelets on the weekends. Was patiently waiting to try this place and would definitely recommend it! Really cool atmosphere and the plates all the food comes on are so pretty. I wasn't lying about patiently waiting because after we ordered, pretty much everyone around us ordered after us and got their food before us. Taking off a star because it took over 30 minutes for the food to come out and we had to constantly flag down our waiter or other waiters for more water and condiments. Me and my friend decided to go here to eat for my birthday and when we got there they got to us pretty quick they sat us in a table in the middle of the restaurant and yet nobody had even asked us what we wanted to drink we where waiting for more than 15 minutes and I'm a server myself it shouldn't take that long to get to us specially if we're in the middle of the restaurants where even the host that sat us was walking by us. Me and my friend decided to just get up and leave because again we were hungry and frustrated. This is not the first time this happens to me either it happened when I went with my mom a few months ago but we decided to stay and wait. I want to say it took them about 20 minutes or a little less to get to us and bring our drinks out. It wasn't empty but if they were going to leave us to wait more than 15 minutes they should've just left us in the host stand and sat us down when they were able to attend us. I love a good brunch spot. Well. I love a reason to have brunch. And was happy to dine here today. I pass it all too often and wondered would it be worth a try and it was! I say start with their seasonal juices because they are actual juice. I had the meditation and the husband had the chai. My eldest had a iced coffee. Before his life is so like that! Ha! We got off to a rocky start with our waitress getting our drink order wrong, mine and my youngest. But it was quickly remedied. No harm no foul. If you're vegan or vegetarian there are options you just have to do the work around like we normally do. No eggs, or cheese... there is a mushroom hash plate that I got which was very good. I'd order it again and it's pictured here. And I gave my husband the eggs that came with the order. Everyone really enjoyed their plates I think the table fav was the donut holes. I ordered the chickichanga with extra avocado inside. and extra onion in the potatoes. the extra avocado and onions were not on there. I was even charged for them. Not impressed with how this place was run/organized. Came on a Sunday at 11:50am. There were about 8 people waiting and they told us 30 minutes would the wait. There were tons of tables just sitting open the whole time. However, the online check ins were just coming right in and getting sat right away. After exactly 30 minutes, I asked how many people in front of me and there were still 5-6 groups. So really, what the heck happened here. You either did a terribly job giving an accurate wait time, prioritized online check ins, and just let open tables sit forever. The whole place felt unorganized and was not a great experience. Took my mom out for brunch and she was extremely satisfied. She had the Traditional breakfast with smoked ham; I had the Bacado omelette (avocado and bacon) with their famous home style potatoes. I've been here several times, so I'm long overdue for doing a review. Today my husband and I came in to start celebrating our anniversary; so first stop BREAKFAST- the most important meal of the day. :D First Watch does - not-disappoint. Always fresh and seasonal menu items. Today I had their spring blueberry and quinoa pancakes with turkey sausage, and they were ohhh so good. So much so, that I didn't even need any syrup. The berry compote served with the pancakes added a nice refreshing twist, and the berry butter...swoon. Totally surprised at how good they were considering it has quinoa in it, but it made the pancakes not be dry. My husband had the farmhouse scramble, which was also delicious. The fresh juices here are truly tasty as well. One day (my first visit) I came in with a headache & had the morning meditation and my headache went away. Tino was a great! I've had him as my server multiple times and he is consistently great! I absolutely love First Watch, it's my favorite brunch spot. I always get the Belgian Waffle with potatoes and fruit. My fave beverage at the moment is the Tangerine Dream with a wellness shot of B3, C, D, echinacea, elderberry and zinc. The juices were beyond expectation and I will be getting the kale tonic on my next visit. Went to the new location in Sienna. Totally understand the associates are still "training," and my server did fairly well. The restaurant looked nice, but there was lots of staff standing around the counter, actually getting in the way of me paying (yes, you pay at the register, a la Denny's). The food was way below par. I ordered the "classic eggs benedict" and decaf coffee. The coffee was the weakest I've ever tasted. Hardly any taste at all. I had issues with the eggs benedict. Instead of the Canadian bacon one usually has, this is advertised as "piled high with smoked ham." I received what I can only describe as shredded second-rate, run-of-the-mill deli ham. The "vine-ripened tomato" was thin and wet. I had opted for the seasoned potatoes instead of the mixed greens. Normally, I gobble them down, but they were so super-salty, I couldn't finish these. I will probably try this again, perhaps in a few months, after they get better established. Maybe go for the pancakes. But for now, until they get their act together, I'd suggest staying away. read more

Ever been to a place where they just stopped trying? Imagine walking into a place, there are 3 parties waiting to be seated. Only one party that is actually in this rather large restaurant. I counted 7 servers. Once we were seated, it took 10 min before anyone came to our table, mind you again, 7 servers, only 4 tables have customers. Another 10 min to get our drinks. Next the food, which was decent for my kids, the adults, it was bad. And how do you mess up avocado toast? (too much lemon). Elevated egg sandwich, that I have had dozens of times, barely any avocado, arugula enough for only green, egg was sloppy cooked and it felt like it was missing something. I used to enjoy this place, since its right around the corner, last time I come here for an overpriced, underserved meal. read more
