Updating my review!…read more My mom, husband, and I went this morning for breakfast and to start off the place wasn't as packed we found a booth pretty quick. It did take a while for anyone to attend us, I had to ask someone for menus and to take our drinks. My mom ordered the chicken fried steak and the waiter seemed a bit confused on what the menu said. My mom was confused too because on the menu it had two of the same name items with different prices. Anyway he took her order and he put in for the " country fried steak" as he called it and she also asked for the gravy on the side. My husband and I ordered waffles combo plates and my husband asked for a side of bacon. When the food arrived the gravy was on my mom's food when she asked for it on the side and she asked to get it replaced. She got it back and once she started cutting it it's was actually chicken fried chicken. She didn't want to ask to take it back so she just ate it. The good thing is she said her meal was delicious even though she didn't get exactly what she wanted. She also very much enjoyed the coffee. When it came to my mine and my husbands meal the sausage on his plate looked pale as if it was left on the grilled for one minute each side so we asked if it could be slightly more cooked and we're super grateful that the waiter took it back and brought crisper sausage linked on our plate. Now the only other disappointment from my husband's meal is that he never got his extra bacon instead he was brought extra sausage links. We didn't want to send it back either so we just kept it and he ate that. Overall all the food was amazing just wish everything was given to us the way we ordered it in the beginning. I would still go back and eat there.

We arrived around 11 and they were semi busy. Smaller spot in a mini strip mall with booth/counter/regular seating and black/white square flooring. Daily specials (M-F) are atavailable. We all ordered Omelettes with chocolate chip and plain pancakes to share. My Avocado Omelette (swapped Chorizo for shrimp-yes!) was delicious. And filled with slightly spicy Chorizo, mushroom, onions to name a few. The Meat Lover and Chicken Fajita were also tasty. Stuffed and generous portions. Pancakes were the perfect compliment and were also delicious! Our server and the entire staff were engaged and upbeat despite working on a Holiday. They were closing at 1 so we made it just in time. Make a stop at this Gem for some Diner deliciousness!

They have French fries, but I didn't get them because I thought they would be cold by the time I got back to my husband's room. The kicker? There is an all the time deal that is buy two sandwiches, get the second half off, which brings the price of two sandwiches to only $9.67 before tip!!! Tip well, you can't eat fast food for this price. This is my most dreamed about sub, ever since Rocky's closed.

I appreciated that he told us up front before we placed and paid for our order. You can tell this is a good local spot to go to, because they weren't slammed, but they had a consistent flow of people coming in, and everyone was super patient waiting for their food, which, in today's time, people are super impatient. The customer service was really great. When our orders came up, it was before the time he gave us, so that was great also! The hoagies came out hot and fresh! The bread really does a number on this sandwich, because it is light, airy, has a good chew to it, AND, holds together as you make your way through the sandwich. The meat was seasoned nicely and was tender. I had onions, bell peppers, lettuce and mayo on mine. I think next time I'll add some jalapenos too for a little bit of kick. The fries were super hot too, would be good to have a good little dipping sauce for those. All in all, solid hoagie!

Frank Sinatra fans! Play "Young (Jung) at Heart"…read morehttp://grooveshark.com/#!/search/song?q=Frank%20Sinatra%20Young%20at%20Heart ), read the review, and finish happy by singing to the tune with new lyrics (Jung@Heart). First, though, I will review Jung's in the spirit of Carl Jung, the famous father of psychoanalysis, contemporary of Sigmund Freud (see my Headshrinkers list), and who is known for typing people as introvert or extrovert. The review will be broken down into his four psychological functions, grouped in the two aspects: (Information Gathering: S/I) -----Sensation----- Peaceful. Nice building tucked in the trees with oil-related businesses, primarily. Confined. Small deli, and only has a few tables inside, a few outside. Routine: Staff was friendly, and clearly had their methodology down pat. ... "Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain." - Carl Jung Deli-like smell: Although there are a few cafeteria style hot bins of food, this place is mainly for standard sandwiches made fresh (not pre-made). -----Intuition----- Sad: I'm not sure it will last. It used to be called "Interwood Deli" (signs are still up). Without Yelp, you would never know it existed unless you are in the building and looking for it. Low expectations: It only has to be good enough for people with not enough time to go out to lunch. Resist impulsive temptations: Chicken-fried steak is one of hot-bin entrees. But here? I suspect it was from frozen. (Decision-making/judging: F/T) -----Feeling----- Unappreciated: This place is good for oil company personnel who are too stingy ("not enough time") to take someone like me out to a better place. I need to work on my "use your expense account" approach. ... "Knowledge rests not upon truth alone, but upon error also." - Carl Jung Compromised: Knowing the food is not great, I think I should go more towards a healthy lunch. Turkey sandwich for me. -----Thinking----- The guy who invited me to lunch is paying, so I get chips and flavored drink. ... "If one does not understand a person, one tends to regard him as a fool." - Carl Jung If you blindfolded me, the sandwich was like any halfway-decent in-building deli sandwich. Rating of the sandwich: 3/5 ... "Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you." - Carl Jung Qty of tables & space: 1/5 ... "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." - Carl Jung Menu selection variety: 2/5 ... "Man needs difficulties; they are necessary for health." - Carl Jung Now for the fun part of this review. If you are an extrovert, sing out loud. "Young at Heart", made famous by Frank Sinatra, but parodied herein for Introverts: Introvert Lyrics: Extrovert Lyrics: (sing in your head) (sing out loud, on the street) Fair emails, Fairy tales, Can come through, Can come true, It can happen to you, It can happen to you, If you're Jung@Heart. If you're young at heart. For it's hard, For it's hard, You will find, You will find, To get wi-fi when you dine To be narrow of mind. If you're at Jung Deli Mart. If you're young at heart.

So I go on this walk, I have company, we're making content and we decide go explore Smashed Society. So I'm not really knowing what to think, all I know is that I just walked here in the sun with jeans on so we gotta see this thing through. She looks at the menu, she already knows what she wants. I ask a few questions to the guy about suggestions because it's our first time here. He tells me that I should get the jalapeño burger and get it the way it comes. I take his word for it. She gets the burger with the egg and has brown I think it was the sun ride burger. I don't know nothing besides those were the best burgers I've ever had in my life. He gave me free tots because I couldn't decide on fries or tots. The burgers were so well seasoned, the sauce on the burgers makes you want to slap yo mama! Everything was so damn good I want to walk back up there just to say thanks. Please go and try this place out. It might change your life.
