    Beef sandwich with pasta.

Apparently LaM has changed their menu and done away with the French dip and replaced it with a beef and provolone drowning in mayonnaise. This was so disgusting that I had to scrape off a ton of mayonnaise just to eat it. Also, the pasta salad was drowned in oil. Very disappointed. Have to find a new lunch spot.

Been to a few locations and always have good service and food. Staff are really nice, helpful and patient. This location is in a strip mall/center that I think was only built approx 2-3 years ago. Also the locations seems it is fairly new. The only thing odd is the entrance...and parking lot.. Parking is across from building and the entrance or face of La Madeline is very very small and If your not paying attention when driving through lot you'll miss it. Also the way it is laid out seems backwards from other locations but once I figured out a worker was asking me for my order... Today I had 1/2 French dip and a bowl of mushroom soup! Really really good. My GF had a 1/2 chicken salad and cup of mushroom soup... We also highly recommend the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. Looks like this place was also decorated for fall (see pic of faux fireplace and mantle) also had fall decor all over. 1. Service - staff are always friendly and nice from the person ordering your food, to the person at the cash register, to the person that brings out your food to the table. Nowadays, it's also the person that brings your food to the car for curbside pickup. If you dine in, grab a menu while you're waiting in line, order near the bakery goods, go through the line to pick your sides, and pay at the very end. Seat yourself and enjoy! 2. Price - about $10 a main entree. 3. Ambiance - this place looks cozy, it looks like a cabin farmhouse. I get a countryside French feel. Dress code here is casual. 4. Food - they have all kinds of delicious foods and choices here. Their known for their bake goods, soup and salad combos, and their sandwich combos with your choice of sides. I recommend the TURKEY AND BRIE SANDWICH. 5. Cleanliness - I am stoke about the designated parking spots for curbside pickup. I believe there are 6 spots. All thanks to Kimco Realty for making that for all their tenants. Anyways, during this Pandemic we've been avoiding eating out at restaurants. However, this would be an alternative way for us to still eat what we like! You order online, and park in one of those designated spots when you arrive, call them and tell them your parking spot # and your order #, and your food will be right out!

You can count on LaMadeleine for consistency and decent food. I dropped by today to pickup lunch for a sick family member and planned to use curbside to hasten the trip. Email says pull into designated spot and follow directions on the sign to have it brought to you but the signs were bereft of those instructions. Having no choice I ran inside where I stood ignored or at least overlooked at the register until my patience was gone and I said excuse me to the gaggle of working teens behind the counter. The food was handed over without as much as a thank you for your business, come again or anything resembling good customer relations. I drove home with my bounty which was of usual quality but I think I will skip this as a pickup location and save it for dine in.

The worst Balsamic-glazed Salmon ive ever had
    Sara W.

Usually love la madeleine. Its good, quick and consistent- usually. This was awful. Awful awful awful. We had the cafe sampler and the salmon. The salmon was super fishy, dry and somewhat cold and just awful. It was old and nasty. The rice tasted only like bell peppers and the broccoli was completely unseasoned. They were out of potato soup so i got the mushroom soup with my sampler. It was pretty good. The Caesar salad had way too much dressing. The friand was good. Couldnt get anyone's attention to send that awful salmon dish back.

What a pleasant experience! Upon walking in, we were greeted by a nice worker. She patiently waited for us to decide what we wanted. The manager was also very friendly and personable! She gave us two small treats after finding out this was our first time there-- she didn't have to do that but that gesture made us feel like they valued us as customers. I will definitely come back!! Pro- Delicious, fresh avocado toast. Freshly scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables, savory potato galette. Free bread station with in house jellies and butter. Soft, buttery cinnamon rolls. Cons- None!

The employee who initially had her mask off while handling my food
    Faith C.

Unfortunately, the staff (including people handling food) do not wear masks. The last time I visited, the woman packaging my food bad her mask below her chin. When asked to wear it properly, she got an attitude & then didn't even put the mask over her nose. Upon reaching out to management directly, it became clear that there's a culture problem. The lack of response demonstrated that management doesn't take COVID precautions seriously, so neither do the employees. Considering how rapidly covid spreads among food worker, I find this sort of leadership unfortunate and will no longer buy food from La Madeleine. If you can't maintain proper hygiene standards, you shouldn't be selling food. *note: this generic response underneath this review demonstrates apathy -- I shared feedback at www.lamadeleinecomments.com soon after this incident occurred, but never received a response. They're on Yelp pretending to care about feedback instead of responding to it & demonstrating changed behavior.

Great food at this location. The service was fast and the food was all fresh. The presentation of each dish was made with pride. I really enjoyed everything about this location. Will continue to come back!!

That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is calm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It's the kind of place where you can instantly relax, whether you're starting your morning or winding down after a busy day. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of modern and homey. The décor is simple yet stylish, the lighting is soft, and the music is never too loud. Every time I visit, it feels warm and comfortable, like a place made for good conversations and quiet moments. The staff always greet me with a smile and take the time to make each order right. They remember faces, favorite drinks, and even ask how your day is going, which makes every visit feel personal. Now, about the coffee, it's incredible! You can taste the difference in quality with every sip. The beans are fresh, and the drinks are smooth, rich, and never bitter. My personal favorites are the iced vanilla latte and the caramel macchiato. Both are balanced perfectly, not too sweet but full of flavor. On cooler days, I love getting their hot mocha or matcha latte. They also offer plenty of non-coffee options, which is great for anyone who just wants something cozy and refreshing. Their food menu is just as impressive. They have pastries, cakes, ice cream, and breakfast options that are always fresh and delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and the muffins taste homemade. I tried their slice cakes once and have been hooked ever since -- especially the strawberry and chocolate ones. Everything pairs perfectly with their drinks, and it feels like the kind of treat you can actually enjoy guilt-free. The shop itself is a great space to hang out or get work done. There's free WiFi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for studying or working remotely. I've spent several quiet mornings there with my laptop and coffee, and it's always peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Must Go Coffee checks all the boxes: amazing drinks, great food, friendly people, and a comforting atmosphere. It's not just another coffee shop, it feels like a community spot that genuinely values its customers. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. If you're in Houston and haven't tried it yet, I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends, or looking for a peaceful place to relax, Must Go Coffee is the perfect spot. It's easily my favorite coffee shop in the city, and once you visit, I'm sure it'll become yours too.

I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.

Not to sound corny, but the flavors literally exploded in my mouth. I had enjoyed their food before, but this was my first time actually going in and sitting down -- and it was such a lovely experience. I stopped by on a Saturday after a nail appointment, planning to meet a girlfriend. I arrived almost an hour early, so I ordered a cappuccino and a small bite to eat and asked if it would be okay to sit and do a little writing while I waited. I was welcomed so warmly. Paola (one of the managers/owners) assured me it was absolutely fine, and she was so kind and attentive from the very beginning. The café itself is charming, cozy, and inviting -- the kind of place you can truly relax in. Once my girlfriend arrived, we decided to try the teatime option (which I didn't even realize they offered until I saw it on the menu!), and it was such a treat. We also shared a salad and ended up talking and catching up for nearly three hours. Not once did we feel rushed. It was the perfect atmosphere for meaningful conversation and connection. I've also visited on my own and had an equally wonderful experience. It's just as special whether you're meeting a friend or enjoying quiet time by yourself. The tea selection is beautiful -- I brought home some Lady Grey (I'm a huge Earl Grey fan), and it was absolutely delicious. Paola is truly a gem -- attentive, welcoming, and genuinely warm. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. Hands down, 10 out of 10. Panicafe will always be one of my go-to spots. If you're ever in Spring, stop by -- and tell Paola that Latice sent you!
