Incredible spot to catch up on work or study ! The place offers 2 floors with plenty of seats to sit in. The menu has great options and the drinks me and my friend tried, tasted really great. Good notes on the espresso. They offer food and drinks, so it's a great spot to spend time in. Very quick to order and didn't have to wait too long for the drinks to be prepared.

This spot is always solid. There's seating both inside, upstairs as well as outside. The staff is pretty friendly, they allow dogs so there's always a bunch of happy puppies around, VERY busy on the weekends so just prepare yourself. The espresso is good, not bitter or burnt tasting, I like that they shake the latte before serving at the counter, whereas most places pour the espresso on top making you mix everything together. The Canebrake Latte is VERY sweet even if you ask for half sweet, I much prefer Honey Oat Latte but if you're a sweets person the Canebrake is for you.

A great place to go for coffee and or to study/ work. There is an upstairs which I did not go to. Overall, the baristas were amazing and it's a great and cozy place. I will for sure come again if I'm ever in the area!

Super good and quick service! They have great WiFi and an amazing playlist. Very delicious coffee with lots of dairy free options. The banana bread was also very delicious they have the option to serve it warmed too and I lofted for that which made it taste so fresh and perfect for a brunch snack!

I went on a Sunday and it was busy but the service was very fast and attentive. I didn't see or try any of their food just their coffee and it was delicious! There were people on coffee dates, or doing homework. There is also a sitting area outside! Can't wait to go back!

Always a line to the door. But it moves reasonably fast. Baristas are friendly and my kid loves sitting upstairs in the loft styl design.

There's ample room to study and to chill, they have a downstairs area and also an upstairs. I got an iced matcha with brown sugar cold foam! The matcha is unsweetened, I wish I would've gotten vanilla syrup so it could have enhanced the matcha. The blueberry muffin was gigantic and sweet! I would totally come here again :)

This place is great. Easy to access with good parking available. The coffee is well made and I was greeted and received quickly after entering. Somewhat modern contemporary atmosphere. Two stories with ample seating (students and people on their laptops) with outdoor seating under the shade as well.

Cinnamon Roll Latte...halfway done and remembered I needed to take a picture.

First off the iced Cinnamon Roll Latte is delicious. If you're worried about the cinnamon being too overwhelming, don't. It balances out nicely with the other ingredients. The Loft area is spacious and has a nice variety of seating options, chairs, tables and couches, oh my. Would definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you need to get out of the house for a day.

I finally made it to this coffee shop which may be the only 2 story coffee shop in houston...well. 1.5 stories you could say. They have plenty of parking and 5 signature lattes on their menu, which is what I came here for. I tried the English sausage roll and their iced cinnamon roll latte. The pastry was ok, I wasn't blown away as I've had this at other coffee shops and restaurants. The latte was also just ok for me, not very sweet at all and I didn't feel like it tasted anything like a cinnamon roll. The best part is really just the atmosphere here. Service is fast and friendly, even when there is a line.

It's a hoping spot on a cold and drizzly Sunday late morning. Ordered the usual (decaf flat white, heavy cream) and THIS is a cup of coffee. Strong flavor standing up to the cream. The ratios are right. It's hot, but not scalding. Hubs is thinking he'll grab another one for the road. (Now THAT's saying something!) Comfy seats here under the crazy black and white wall, and a steady stream of patrons. We'll check out upstairs before we leave but if it's anything like what's going on down here? This place is the bomb. Worth the drive up and off our normal beaten path. Next time we'll bring a book to sit and read (or maybe grab one from the bookstore next door!)

    Chai
    Jorge H.

The service at this coffee shop is good, I love a good chai so that's what I ordered here and I was a bit disappointed as it was mostly milk and lacked that particular flavor chai has. It is a two story coffee shop with very nice decor and a chill vibe where you can just sit and enjoy your coffee. I also tried an espresso, which was decent. Not good not bad just a regular espresso. I overall recommend this place and will visit them again with the hopes of finding a drink that I really enjoy.

    Left- Cappuccino Right- Canebreak Latte

Just what I was looking for. Hubby and I stopped for a coffee on the way home. I like things on the sweeter side and am always not sure what to ask for, the Canebreak Latte was perfection. Hubby's cappuccino was very nice as well. The staff was more than accommodating and very kind without being fake. Looking forward to returning soon.

Do they use syrups to flavor their lattes or do they use real stuff? I'm leaning towards the vanilla.

I would personally buy Pyure liquid stevia. It comes with vanilla and no junk. You only need a tiny amount. I believe they do use syrups but as far as it being the more expensive brands vs cheap Starbucks stuff, I can't say. My coffee guy prefers… Read more

I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. A must visit if you want to try some of the best coffee woodlands has to offer.
