10/10 -- My New Favorite Cozy Spot I cannot say enough good things about Panicafe! This adorable little European café right down the street from my home has completely won my heart. I had enjoyed their food before, but this was my first time actually going in and sitting down -- and it was such a lovely experience. I stopped by on a Saturday after a nail appointment, planning to meet a girlfriend. I arrived almost an hour early, so I ordered a cappuccino and a small bite to eat and asked if it would be okay to sit and do a little writing while I waited. I was welcomed so warmly. Paola (one of the managers/owners) assured me it was absolutely fine, and she was so kind and attentive from the very beginning. The café itself is charming, cozy, and inviting -- the kind of place you can truly relax in. Once my girlfriend arrived, we decided to try the teatime option (which I didn't even realize they offered until I saw it on the menu!), and it was such a treat. We also shared a salad and ended up talking and catching up for nearly three hours. Not once did we feel rushed. It was the perfect atmosphere for meaningful conversation and connection. I've also visited on my own and had an equally wonderful experience. It's just as special whether you're meeting a friend or enjoying quiet time by yourself. The tea selection is beautiful -- I brought home some Lady Grey (I'm a huge Earl Grey fan), and it was absolutely delicious. Paola is truly a gem -- attentive, welcoming, and genuinely warm. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. Hands down, 10 out of 10. Panicafe will always be one of my go-to spots. The Dulce De Leche is what the kind lady recommended and I can't help but keep ordering that one. The place is very nice inside. Wow! If you are a cheesecake lover, you must ask if they have any of their homemade Pie Basque. It's been years since I've had this and it's a favorite of mine. Took two home that I could stash in the freezer. Happy camper and another new reason to stop by here. Before arriving, I was unaware of the chain Panicafe. I was also unaware the owners own multiple concepts in the area. The more you know. This quaint shop is really aesthetic! Understanding that most guests are first time customers, they're patient and helpful while you're making your selection. They have a handful of sweet and savory options to choose from including morning pastries, breakfast sandwiches, desserts and more. I ordered my traditional brew, and a chocolate croissant. Although neither really stood out, they were both enjoyable. Bonus points for taking my guests order at the table. What a lovely experience! My mom and I shared their "tea party". We were obsessed with the cucumber sandwiches and spinach quiche. We also tried their iced matchas, each flavor not too sweet. The quality here is just top notch, everything is home made and even items imported from Europe for better quality. What a hidden gem! I can't believe I didn't know this place existed. Not only was the food incredibly good, but the service was also warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the ham and cheese medialunas, which were surprisingly large (in a good way!) and very fresh. They reminded me of a Mallorca sandwich (if you know you know) that perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband had a London Fog with almond milk and said it was one of the best he's ever had. The Mexican wedding cookies were so delicious that we ended up grabbing extras to take home. We also picked up a large baguette that had just come out of the oven it smelled amazing and it was hard not to tear into it on the drive back. We'll definitely be coming back. I saw an Instagram video raving about this new Argentinian cafe and had to come check it out. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and this cafe fills a coffee void in that area that was very much needed. We got a small white mocha, a ristretto, and an alfajor. The cookie was tasty, the white mocha was average (the dark roast bean flavor overpowered the syrup), and the ristretto tasted burnt. This Argentinian chain has opened a U.S. location here in Spring. I stopped in the other day to check it out. Got the Angus sandwich, a matcha latte, and a vanilla flat white and chocolate chip cookie to take with me. The Angus is not a steak sandwich. It is pastrami on focaccia bread with a white cheese, red onions and greens. It was accompanied with an apple-strawberry-greens salad with a nice raspberry balsamic dressing. I'm not a huge fan of pastrami but this one might change my mind--it was quite delicious, and the salad complemented it perfectly. The matcha latte was a good one. Not a strong matcha flavor, which may be a concession to American diners--many find matcha very bitter. This one was smooth and just the right sweetness. The flat white was also a good representation. They have a very attractive selection of baked goods, and I was told the cookies were fresh. This was a really good chocolate chip cookie. Crisp on the bottom and soft in the middle, so you get all the good cookie textures. The nuts and chocolate were very tasty. Worth a try. The interior is very clean, just one piece of abstract art and the big logo on the wall. The chairs really stood out for me. They are super comfortable. There are lots of outlets along the wall as well. This would be a great place to meet a client for a light lunch or snack, or hang out and work for awhile. Service is friendly and enthusiastic, it looked like management was there that day. There are two identical restrooms (no gender based waiting!), clean and ready. I will miss Island Fire Poke, which was most recently in this location, but Panicafe can serve the same purpose as a meeting place. read more

A beautiful space just opened up in the neighborhood! Panicafe is a lovely little coffee shop (I believe there are several of these in Spain?). They just opened a couple of weeks ago. I came in for a little pick me up and got the hazelnut latte (delicious and smooth! Not too sweet) and they suggested I get the medialuna- their speciality (Argentinian croissant that has a sweetened dough). I've never had one before. I find that it is different than the French croissant- but it was just the right density and sweetness for my tastes. Seems like it is a little more dense and doughier than a French croissant. They also let me sample some lemon tea and wedding cookies and they were so sweet to me while I was taking my time and looking at the menu and other items. So excited to have this offering near me. I will need to come back to sample some of their savory options- sandwiches and salads. read more

This is a new cafe that is off to a very good start. In our first visit we had solid hot lattes and very good pastries. Ambiance is clean, modern and attractive. Service was friendly and competent. Note this is a chain, and is not an espresso bar, it is more of a cafe that serves espresso. If you want a good, full strength latte you will need to ask for it, as they have backed off on the strength of their standard coffee recipes to cater to their typical customer. But if you ask for it, you can get a proper coffee. This place has potential, time will tell if they reach it. read more
