Who would've thought there'd be an authentic French bakery in Old Town Spring! The place is super cute inside and out... cozy shop in a village vibes. If you squint, you'll feel like you're in the countryside of France. The lady who was working was very sweet and enthusiastically explained all their different pastries to me. I ended up buying quite a few. They are quite generous with the butter! Every pastry tasted fresh and buttery. My favorite was the chicken mushroom one that I got, but the lemon meringue comes in at a close second. I highly recommend stopping by here if you happen to be in this area of town for some authentic French pastries!

Great place to grab coffee and some pastries and pies. Parking is difficult to find in old town spring.

Wow what an amazing place! All the pastries are made from scratch and not only look incredible but taste equally so. The owners are so nice and friendly! Can't wait to go back and try everything! FYI they have great coffee too

Chefs kiss - Went to Old Town Spring this morning with my granddaughter and had the most wonderful service!! I bought goodies to take home and we also enjoyed a goodie while we were there.. Everyone please give them a try the deserts brought me back in time from when I lived in Europe and reminded me of how much I miss it..

This was such a wonderful French bakery tucked away in old town Spring. I found it while checking out the annual Mercer plant sale and so glad I did. It was a Saturday afternoon and OTS was popping, making parking very difficult to find. However, I was not deterred because pastries were on the line. Anyways, after parking and having lunch, we finally made our way to Chefs Providence. Its a small, unassuming shop with some outdoor seating. The owners were very nice, welcomed us, and gave us a quick rundown of some of their pastries and specials. I ended up going for a chocolate almond croissant, a pear almond tart, and a pistachio chocolate verrine. I would have gotten so much more but my wallet and my stomach could not afford anything else. The croissant was buttery with a perfectly bittersweet chocolate. Its become my current favorite croissant in Houston. The desserts were both super well balanced, not overly sweet, and flavors came through. The pistachio mousse was super light and creamy and went really well layered with a rich, dense chocolate cake, along with some whipped cream to lighten the whole dessert. The pear almond tart was very well baked with a subtley sweet almond base and very flavorful pears. I'm definitely impressed such a wonderful French bakery exists out here and sad it's a bit of a drive for me. However, I'dd definitely drive out for a pastry run and its a must stop for anyone in old town spring or wanting delicious pastries/desserts!

Absolutely delicious! This is the best place I've had an Almond Croissant. So crispy and flaky! It's smells wonderful as soon as you walk in. I stop by once a week if I can. :)

A must visit! The best pastries in Old Town Spring (in I'd say a good 20 mile radius, though Buren Bakery next door is quite good latin bakery). Authentic (and ridiculously delicious) French pastries and gift shop. Attentive and kind service. Quaint and adorable decorations complete with lots of Parisian touches.

Came here after the movies with my boyfriend and we split a Cookies and Dream. - Cookies and Dream (3/5): I love the combo of warm brownie with soft serve. Also the Oreo bits added a nice texture. But this desert was just WAY TOO SWEET. The vanilla sauce was more like a sugary frosting that ruined the whole dessert for me.I don't know if it's because I'm old and my sweet tooth isn't as strong, but I couldn't eat much of it even after scraping off part of the frosting. Service/ambiance: Overall I think this was such a fun late night spot. We came at around 11:30 and the place was filled with people, mostly groups of friends, and it gave such a lively atmosphere. There was also board games that you can borrow.

I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer. Congrats and enjoy your cakeballs.

Parking onsite. Nice interior dining space. It did seem like they were out of quite a few items on the menu but I think Hurricane Beryl might have contributed to that and is understandable. The lady we ordered with also gave us a complimentary pistachio baklava to try when we ordered their original baklava, which we thought was super nice. We will definitely go back and keep them in mind next time we need a custom cake!
