Here's a classy brunch spot, great for bringing multiple people or just two! They have spacious seating options and a variety of different options on their menu. I will say that the portions aren't huge but they do serve fresh food items. I was disappointed with the coffee creamers on the table but thankfully they have fresh half and half available. You can expect to pay $17-$20 per person (including tip) depending on if you order a drink alongside an entree. What a joke this place is! Very high turnover of staff. It seems like there is no training. It took them 25 minutes to serve oatmeal. No consistency between locations. At time the food is served cold when it suppose to be warm (Eggs benedict). Another time i was served a broiling hot muffin and when i got the staff's attention and explained that because it is too hot it becomes 'mooshi' and not eatable to me, she started arguing with me. I just walked out of this place with my son. I'm Not one to leave negative reviews but this place either needs new training in customer service or more staff. We waited at the front for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Then someone sat us and still said nothing to us. The person who sat us turned out to be our server. I didn't find this out until we left after sitting at the table for another ten minutes watching everyone in his section looking around wondering what was going on. This place menu seemed rad. The food is slightly over priced, but they main reason for my review is the service. I've tried this place a few times and more often than not, I feel like the servers are rude and depend on the chains name to bring in patrons. The final straw was when we visited right after my mother's dr appointment following a double mastectomy. Due to this she was obviously moving slow. When our food was brought out, the server rushed her to move because "the plate was heavy". I said "if it was that heavy you shouldn't have grabbed it" and her response was "I could have left your food in the window". We were literally the table right in front of the kitchen so making an additional trip to make sure she could handle everything was not going to add that much time to her day. read more

We were already at the restaurant I saw the advice to place the order via the app or something in advance. This is very good advice. We were one of 2 parties in the place at 7 am and we were in a bit of a hurry and it took half an hour for our food to come. The potatoes that came with my Chickichanga were Excessively Salty...i like salt but these tasted as though the cook dumped too much salt on them.. My daughter had the same potatoes and tried mine and agreed that mine were much much salter than hers. I thought the menu was overly complicated and I lack the mental stamina to continue with this review. Food should not be so salty it burns. This is review of FM1960W location in Houston suburb. Excellent service, wonderful staff and location. The dinnerware and flatware is a step above your usual breakfast restaurants. The atmosphere is calming but tables are a little closer than I would like due to ability to hear complete conversations at next tables. This is TEXAS, we need space to not feel boxed in while dining. The meals seem to have small portions and I seem to be hungry within a few hours which is unusual due to being a senior citizen that often is good with 1 meal a day and possibly a lite snack for taking medicine before bed. The farm eggs are delicious and fresh. Pastry is acceptable. Coffee is good but not near exemplary. The rotating specials taste can vary by the chef/cook on duty especially the Shrimp & Grits dish. My only disappointment is menu items don't offer selections of combo like pancakes with meat, eggs, and potatoes without an extra charge. Also don't plan on having enough food for a takeout of leftovers. I don't recommend dining with children especially boys that are going through a growth spurt! All parents presently or have been struggling with pre-teen boys that are always hungry avoid the expense! read more

This is the perfect breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. (They also have dinner service) The menu includes a variety of dishes from plant based and vegetarian to plates for the heavy meat eaters. I've visited this location several times now and I've always felt welcomed by the wonderful staff. The portions tend to be generous and all the food so far has been delicious and filling. Late review as I visited this business Aug. 8th... the first few minutes there everything was nice and going well. Only thing we didn't like was the fact that we were told we couldn't order any alcoholic beverages while we waited on our to-go order. Long story short... 45 minutes later we were still waiting on our order. Once we inquired, it was determined that our order was given to someone else some time prior. The only reason why I'm giving them more than 1 star is because once they realized their mistake they did take ownership, and tried to make it right. They quickly remade the order and offered us a table so that we could then have alcoholic beverages. After the whole ordeal it was hard to really enjoy the food. The food was good and the drinks were ok. What I recall most was that Kale Tonic. It was delicious to me, but OMG it will clean you out lol read more

This is one of the two locations I've ordered from, as I'm smack between two. I really like First Watch, and I feel good about their food and mission. I always order the farmhouse hash. This is the perfect breakfast and holds me over until dinner. It's comfort food without being unhealthy. This dish absolutely puts a smile on my face each time I have it. I also always have the coffee. It's good coffee for a good cause. When we go back to the office, I might even pick up the big container for sharing. On occasion I've also ordered the green juice (I can't recall the name), which is so refreshing, and the grits (when I'm extra hungry), which are good but a bit salty from this location. I'm all in on First Watch. I'd eat breakfast/brunch from here every day if possible. Eventually I'll give a soup or salad a try for lunch. read more

I replaced the chorizo with the roasted potatoes, and I ordered the Purple Haze for my drink. It reminded me of when I went to Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU), and was a member of the Purple Haze organization on campus. We attended sporting events to cheer the Lumberjacks on! Great, fun times at SFASU! My date ordered the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, his review, "although the tacos lacked salt, they were still good." He also had the "Morning Meditation" as his beverage after trying all three specialty drinks available at the time (Morning Meditation, Kale Tonic, and Purple Haze). You can never go wrong with the specialty drinks nor the preserve with artisan toast :). Yum! Pricing: fairly inexpensive. Of course, when dining out, you're always paying for convenience and experience! Wanted to LOVE a place so close to home where we can get a healthy option. Unfortunately my first experience was that of lack luster. Arrived exactly at 7:00 am as soon as they opened. Walked in to the restaurant, no greeting, sat for at least 10-15 minutes with out being spoke to, as employees walked past me through the front door. Then ordered food finally, another party of two walked in after me by plenty. I ordered one omelet, side of grits and one pancake. The party of two that came in after me received their food prior to my order to go. Then I received my food about 10 to 15 minutes after them. So all in all I was there for over 40 minutes for three items. Food was a 6 out of 10. But the service makes me not want to return. read more
