The best thing to happen to Phoenix breakfast culture, ever! :) I'm thrilled! The food is prepared freshly, looks amazing, tastes even better. And the prices are in the range of Denny's. I hope they expand to lunch and dinner, of course with a tailored menu (I think they close at around 2:30pm daily - at least my location in Glendale does.) Till now, I have tried a couple of seasonal dishes (highly recommend the truffle mushroom hash) as well as a couple of items and drinks from the everyday menu. If you decide to stop by during the weekend, make sure to get in line virtually on their website. During the week, they usually have enough space. read more

Came in on a week day for breakfast. We got seated right away and didn't have a wait right before 9am. There was a consistent rush right after this time. Staff was great and let us enjoy our food. Food was awesome as usual. We ordered the million dollar bacon and got the seasonal skillet with brisket , potatoes, cheese curds, onion, mushroom and two eggs your way. The place was near empty. We were seated fairly quickly but never spoke to again. We waited at our table for nearly 15 minutes...no one ever came by. Not even to drop off water. Nothing. It was not busy and there were wait staff standing around talking to each other. We ended up walking out and went to another breakfast/lunch place across the street that was excellent. Terrible customer service. Just AWFUL! I went in and was sat. NO ONE CAME UP TO ME FOR 8 minutes. Not a single person. Not a single word was said. 2 tables sat after me were served. They got their drink orders and had someone come over to them and made them feel welcomed. The table was a mess. Trash still on the table and the table was sticky. I would go to Cracker Barrel if I were you. Better service, cleaner, and overall better vibes. read more

Yesterday some friends and I decided to come to this location for brunch after our workout. We were told that they were having a soft opening by invite only but were giving coupons to come back after the official opening next week. While trying to decide where to go next, someone from the staff came out and said they can actually take us after all. We thought that was very nice of them to since this was an invite only event. We were seated and all of the staff were very nice and accommodating throughout the service. We ordered some fresh squeezed juices that were delicious and refreshing. Our entrees were the short rib omelet; which everyone kept raving about including my mom after she tasted it; the chorizo omelet and pumpkin pancakes - they were so delicious!; healthy turkey omelet - I'm told the feta and turkey combo worked really well; and the mushroom hash with a side of million dollar bacon. I'm told the bacon was so good too. We had never been to a soft launch so we came in expecting the usual kind of process but it was very nice to see the time that was being taken to coach and train the wait staff and inform guests of what was going on. The food has become somewhat tasteless for the prices. The food I have received has come out cooler than I like. The service is nice, except when they seem overwhelmed on weekends! The place is adorably cute, but they sat me and my mom at the door which that day was cold, and people were seated outside for those who like cooler weather, it was not enjoyable at all, pretty miserable. But my guest didn't get hit with the air every 10 seconds and it didn't seem to bother her, so I let her enjoy her outing. read more

Fine breakfast but not great. Service the same. Nice waiter but they brought me the wrong breakfast order and I had to wait till the made mine correctly. My wife was just about done with her breakfast when mine came. I ordered BLT Benedict and they brought me Salmon Benedict. Wife had Avocado toast. Bread is very thick with nuts and seeds. Very good flavor but a bit too thick for my taste. Avocado was fine but eggs were a bit well done to the point of being crispy almost burned around the edges. She ordered over easy. BLT Benedict Ciabatta bread was chewy like it had been either microwaved or was just not fresh. Eggs were good but the bacon had definitely been prepared earlier and was reheated. It was tough. Side of fruit was very fresh. Nice place but very noisy. I can not say I'd recommend this place. read more

Actual size of the chickenchanga- looks more like an enchilada. After two bites, almost 1/2 way through. 2" in diameter. Kinda sad the pics on Yelp were not updated. Most recent picture looked twice the size at least from what I got. Potatoes were undercooked as well. Service was good. Friends short rib omelet was perfect. She killed it. We frequent First Watch's other locations at Happy Valley and Tempe.. this is our first time to this location and WOW. I order the same exact thing every single time (Farmhouse Hash with extra avocado) and my bf is always picking new things. This was the first time that I was genuinely impressed with the hash! Everything was absolutely perfect with my meal! My bf also commented that the breakfast tacos were perfectly seasoned that he was having (he has an excellent palette for seasonings). This isn't the closest location to us (35th and Union Hills) but we will travel the 1x a week to come here! read more

Great food at this new location in Glendale. Esther our server was very friendly and helpful and when asked, gave us plenty of time to review the extensive menu. The coffee was so strong, I opted for water after first cup. Food was very good. It was kind of busy and seemed very loud due to the warehouse look that so many eateries are opting for. Ok ok ok, you found a good breakfast place here. The waffles are good the special sauce is also good. If you're looking for a Mexican dish order the chorizo with the southwest potatoes, badda bing. A spicy dish with a Mexican kick. My only issue is you can't pay at the table you have to wait at the counter, which isn't long but it's a waste of time to me. The salad had a bit too much dressing for my liking, but it was good too! Also ordered their new cocktail drink, Blackberry Bramble Sangria that was given in a small pitcher with huge chunks of ice. Very consistent business with food quality, preparation and cleanliness standards. Tasty fresh foods. Love the morning meditation drink and the coffee always tastes great. I think their coffee is Colombian. My wife's # 1 choice for breakfast food and I have to agree with her and share my opinion. Filtered chilled water normally served. Belgian waffles light and fluffy melt in your mouth. Huge pancakes ... Servers are very friendly and always come to check on us a few times to make sure we are happy. My friends recommended going here and I saw advertising on Facebook for the Barbacoa Quesadilla Eggs Benedict that really intrigued me, and it sure didn't disappoint! We checked in online and was told it would be a 15 minute wait we waited more than 15 mins we went back to the host and she stated it be another 5 min since they were cleaning the table. We waited for another 20 mins and we never got a text or told by the host that the table was ready and other customers that arrived after we did were seated. Bad experience and will never come back. Had such a good experience here the first time, I couldn't wait to take my mom. Little did I know she had been to First Watch off of I-17 way way way before I ever knew this business existed. This particular location has only been around 7 months. My mom really enjoys First Watch as well, She does not care for the hard wood chairs though. Arrived and waited for seating. No biggie at all. They take your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready. Last time we arrived when opened and were seated right away.. Your number will receive a one question survey after your meal along with a place to leave a comment. I picked out the A.M. Superfood Bowl minus the granola to make it gluten free for the girls and I to share. No dairy! It is coconut milk and chia with a berry compote and fresh fruit. My mom picked Farmhouse Hash. She isn't into the sun dried tomatoes, but loved it and the gluten free toast. I had a Chicken Avocado Salad. No corn chips, no beans, no feta, no dressing as it is soy based. Eating with family I felt more comfortable asking about ingredients. I wanted to try their colorful drinks and was so happy to find all colors are natural amd no artificial dyes or coloring. I would have loved to try a mimosa which was also on my Yelp bucket list, but I was the driver. I went with the Purple Haze. Very unique and tasty. I got the girls gluten free toast, potatoes and a side of fruit which was huge. They had sausage at home before our drive as their tummies couldn't wait. Located in a big plaza close to the stadium. A lot of parking but current a lot of road work going on (July/August 2022). Put our part of 5 (3 adults + 2 children) on a waitlist, which i googled, and it said it was. 20-30 minute wait. We got there in 20 minutes and we're seated within 5 minutes of checking in. The host/hostess was friendly and were friendly enough to ask if a high chair would be needed for our babe. We were seated near the front window in a large table. The inside has a lot of seating arrangements/options, they also have a since outdoor seating space. The bar seating area had outlets if you wanted to plug in or do some work there. The interior in general was very pretty and definitely provided a farm house/farm-to-table feel. The workers all also had similar uniforms to for that same vibe. Quinoa chicken pesto bowl, this was so good. The quinoa was cooked perfectly, the tomatoes were so tasty. The chicken was not dry and the basil pesto sauce was great. Nothing was too over powering, i would have liked a bit more cheese but overall would highly recommend 10/10 Traditional/trifecta - eggs were good, sausage was a bit salty, the toast was fine and the waffle was amazing. Soft/airy on the inside and crispy on the outside/edges. Not too sweet, butter was super good and the Jam was just the right amount of tart/sweet. house potatoes were not cooked on the inside but were burnt on the outside. This was the only thing that wasn't great 8/10 Kids waffle/pancake - the kids enjoyed these. Good ratio of chocolate chips in the pancake, not super sweet and a good portion for kids. Nice mix of fruits with the half waffle (blueberry, pineapple and grapes). 8/10 Millionaire bacon - these were a great salty/sweet. They aren't thick cut but we're super crispy/candied to perfection. Nice peppery/tad spice to them. 8/10 Side cheesy grits - these were so good. The fries were cooked well, slightly buttery taste and the cheese was ooey gooey nicely melted. 10/10 Barbacoa Benedict - amazing flavor, slightly Smokey/mesquite. Meat was tender and great filling to tortilla ratio. I would personally get it without hollandaise or get it on the side. I realize this is was makes a Benedict but it was so good by itself with the pico de gallo. Also served with black beans which were really good too 9/10 Side turkey sausage gravy - wow. Such a good and flavorful gravy. Not watered down or super floury tasting. You can 1000% taste the sausage and wasn't overly salty. I ate this by itself for the most part, but dipped bacon, sausage and ate with black beans here and there. 10/10 Morning meditation and watermelon wake me up - both drinks were very refreshing. Morning meditation had that slight earth/dirt taste which i imagine Is from the beets. Not saying the drink is gross or dirty because it not, it's just a very distinct taste i find with root vegetables. The watermelon wake me up was not overly sweet and slightly tart from the pineapple. I wish there was a tad more mint flavor to it, still good. 8/10 Overall, i would definitely be back. Service was quick (~5-10 minutes to be served all our food). The staff was friendly and the ambiance was beautiful. read more
