I need to update this review after they've been open for a bit longer. We went within the first month, and it was... interesting.
We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, but it ended up being closer to an hour. The thing was, there were several empty tables. I'm not sure if it was an issue of light staffing or something else.
It took almost 10 minutes for a server to greet us (leading me to think they are understaffed already). She forgot our coffee creamer, but the rest of the team was very quick to respond. Felt like I had stirred up a hornets nest by getting up, going to the juice bar, and asking there.
The food was honestly the star of the show here. I had the combo with eggs, ham steak, and splurged a little extra for the carrot cake pancakes. Those were a real winner!
Here's the thing, though. It's not worth the very expensive price tag. Entrées are close to, or over, 20 bucks each (with tax and tip). Was it delicious? Sure! But, it's not the only breakfast/brunch place in town. I don't believe it has earned the markups.
Online ordering isn't available at this location at the time of this review either. Not sure what's up there.
The "million dollar bacon" is kind of insulting. It's just the same bacon, but with sugar and spice. It was still fairly floppy, and the sugar wasn't adhering to it well. Pass.
It's pretty chic inside, but bare bones. The ceiling is nice and high, but it gets very loud in there because of it. There's not enough seating for patrons waiting for tables either.
Is this location just cursed? The Red Robin was not anything to write home about either. While the food here was good, it's just too underwhelming for the price tag. The service wound up being very good in the end, and I shouldn't really be too critical given it was in their first month. Maybe the next visit will be better. read more
