This is a great location for First Watch and this location is very modern with a great feel. The food is good, and service with a smile! The only suggestion for improvement is to have a bit more detail on the menu about the garnish. Such as letting you know that they put chives on your eggs or asking if you prefer powdered sugar on your waffles. I've always been a huge first watch fan. The food at this location is definitely great. But the wait for the food takes longer than usual. However I do recommend trying first watch in general. Maybe they have a staffing issues or management issues. Either way the first watch in Keller beats this location in service and quality every-time. This is probably one of the best things to happen to Glade Parks. The restaurant was rebranded from The Egg and I -- which we absolutely loved. First Watch took the concept of fabulous breakfast to a new hip level. The feel is more like the Gaines family did a makeover. The food is on point. Let's start with the good 1st. The food was good and they had plenty of menu choices. The early check-in through the app is a definite bonus. Let me start the bad off with this: 1st weekend open and I think they need to fine tune some very important basic restaurant operating procedures. 1. The table was greeted promptly but other than the drip coffee no other drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. By drinks I mean the ice water. 2. The separate orders of food for our family of 4 was delivered to the table at separate times. 3 of the 4 plates were easily 5-10 minutes apart and the 4th plate had to be made on the fly because it was not made with the other orders. Annoying to not eat at the same time. 3. Our drinks remained empty even though they were in full view of wait staff. 4. There were numerous tables that were no cleaned and never cleaned the entire time we were here yet there people waiting to be seated. 5. There never appeared to be a manager around checking on tables or patrons. Our server was very apologetic and the restaurant bought our breakfast without us even mentioning it. I will come back in a couple of weeks to see if operations have improved. I really want this place to do well so I hope the can tweak and fix the problems. read more

Struggle bus this morning...eggs cooked wrong and slow to fix so everything else got cold, potatoes "toasted" on one side, only enough creamer for one cup of coffee...asked for more and never brought...asked for grape jelly...got strawberry. Just had lunch at the1230 Red River Suite 100 location here in the Euless, TX area. Check #20033. Server: Isa Was seated promptly outside on the patio as I requested. The server, Isa, came and took my order. The food came out and she left. Never saw her again until I was at the register paying, complaining about the poor service to the girl at the cash register. The girl at the cash register heard every word and when the server walked away, said that she agreed with me. When I tasted my food after it was left for me, the greens with the Roast Beef Sandwich tasted as if it had no dressing on it. Had my server came back, I wanted to get some kind of dressing to put on it. I drank all my ice tea and she never came with a refill. As I said, she never returned at all. When at the cash register the server had walked up and I told her in front of the girl at the cash register that she had never came back. The server pointed to another table she was taking care of as if that was good enough reason to leave me with zero service. I told her that it was not my fault and if she needed help, she should have told someone to help her. The server walked away. Again, the person at the cash register agreed with me. With that said, the girl at the register did not ask me what they could do to make it right. I would have expected some sort of discount since I didn't eat the greens at all that she heard me talk about and maybe offer a free drink since I got no refill. Nope! She just charged me full amount and I paid. I told her I would write a review and it would not be kind. It was obvious she didn't care. Terrible! I left frustrated and have been sharing with co-workers to avoid this place. To be a hospitality service, you need to train your people on what that means and what it is. read more

I'm gonna start with the food is pretty good and the service was pretty good too. The menu is kinda limited in the sense that it leans a little too much toward trendy-healthy for me-ie one kind of pancake-multi grain. Oat-whole grain toast with a homemade 'jelly' that had zero flavor. There were 2 sweeteners on the table-Raw Sugar and Stevia. My wife and I both ordered hot tea. The little hot pots were nice but the tea selection included 3 types of herbal tea (3 or more of each) and 1 'regular' tea. We don't do herbal teas so it would have been nice if they put 2 'regular' teas in the mix-I mean there were TWO of us ordering tea. They are probably targeting the millennials that live close by which is fine. But there is a place close by that has less healthy breakfasts with buttermilk pancakes and sourdough toast. I've been to other locations that were better, but this one is kind of struggling. There was a "slight delay" in the wait time that had us waiting about 30 minutes as opposed to the 10 minutes we were initially told. Once we were seated we waited over 40 minutes for our food. Once we finally got our food, it was around 1:15. The food was good though--awesome eggs, but the pancakes could've been less burnt. I stopped by on a weekday for breakfast with some friends who flew in from Germany. This was our first visit. They have an extensive menu with lots of healthy choices as well as regular choices. All of us chose different items, but we were all very impressed with our meals. I chose the trifecta and had a waffle with thick delicious bacon and eggs over medium. Everything was cooked to perfection! I don't know what brand of coffee they use, but it was even noticeably better than most restaurants. I'll start with the compliments. Very nice inside. The food was good. Didn't have to wait long for food to come out. Now the bad. Waiter wasn't friendly. All others were nice except the one we had. I have been going to first watch for years now, and this was such a horrible experience today. We came in and wanted to sit outside where there were plenty of tables. We showed up at 9:40am. Every table around us was getting regular service while we haven't even had our drink order yet. By 10:00am we went to the hostess and said we hadn't gotten an order, then she said she would send someone out. By 10:10am we still had no one to even take our drink order, yet someone behind us was literally just seated and had an order right away. I have been to other locations and looked forward to having one nearby. I've been there 3 times and I will not go back. The wait time is ridiculous. We were seated quickly and given a coffee pot and water carafe. Then we waited more than 30 minutes for anyone to come back. We even went and found our waiter and told him we needed service. He seated and served the coffee/water to two other tables and disappeared, still not checking on us. When the food was served they stepped up the service but I'm over it. I have been coming to First Watch for years, but I must say, this is the worst experience I have ever had there. Coming from someone who has worked in a restaurant for years, I fully understand how things can be difficult during a rush; customers are needy, time-management can be hard to maintain, and the weeds are inevitable. I get it, I do. But our server Brenda definitely could take a few pointers. Not only was she short with us from the very beginning, but she consistently made US feel as though we were a burden. She did not introduce herself, she borderline cut us off each time we would ask for something (i.e. water, coffee, the rest of our order that hadn't made it to the table yet), she would not communicate anything with us about our food/ consistently avoided discussing anything with us by NEVER checking on us even though she would constantly pass by our table, and she never apologized for her shortcomings (forgetting to bring water, forgetting to bring items we ordered, etc.) While I do understand being in the midst of a rush is very difficult, especially as well as maintaining a friendly demeanor, it seems as though someone should let her know that that IS apart of the job. Being friendly can go a long way, as well as just letting people know what's going on. Brenda needs to work on her time management skills, her people skills, and especially her listening skills. We all have our bad days, but at least most of us know how to apologize for our behavior when things get out of hand. read more

We walked in and waited 5 minutes at the front before being greeted or sat. The guy who finally sat us wasn't friendly at all! Finally got a table then waited 15 minutes to be greeted by our server who also wasn't friendly. We ordered and our food was okay- we got the turkey burger which was decent- not much flavor. And the "salad" on the side was terrible- literally leaves and some tangy dressing. Our server didn't check on us once after taking our order. She didn't even get us our check, another server did. Good food! However poor service. We were not greeted when we walked in and waited before we figured out we had to go to the cashier to be seated. If she's busy with customers then you wait until she's finished. We were seated about 5 minutes before a server approached us and we ordered coffee. Unfortunately we didn't have any spoons to stir the coffee so after waiting another 5 minutes we went looking for napkins and silverware. Another 10 minutes and our server took our order. Food took only about 10 minutes and was good. Our server didn't check on us to see if the meal was to our satisfaction until we were almost finished. Tried to get ketchup but couldn't get ours or any other servers attention. The quickest thing about this place is how fast the check comes. What is it about this place? It was only half full if that and yet all the servers are running around like they're busy, busy, busy! They drop off your food and hurry away like they're afraid you're going to say/ask something. Don't ask our servers name-he never said. He did ask if we've been there before and we said no and he ended that conversation by walking away.
