I was very happy with our entire experience. We arrived late Sunday afternoon, right around 2. We were promptly greeted and sat, didn't have to wait to order, and service was pleasant and even offered me a solution when it wasn't obviously present on the menu. (I wanted French Toast with eggs and sausage, but didn't want to pay for a bunch of sides) I was very happy with food and even impressed by the coffee. At this price point you basically expect Community Coffee or whatever basically burnt or flavorless stuff they have. This wasn't that. It was pretty decent. Brioche French Toast on point and my wife was very happy with her Works Omelet. Wondering if they filter their water cause it tasted good too. Didn't taste like our municipal stuff. This location is slightly hidden but has plenty of parking lot space. It's bright and open and the waitstaff is nice and knows there menu items. I am a Vegan and the options I had were very good! I would recommend coffee with there soy milk and the seasons oatmeal! We were told a 45 minute wait on a Monday morning, after waiting over an hour we went to ask where we were on the list and were told there was still 12 parties in front of us. Came here for some breakfast. Everything was reasonably priced, the servers were courteous and the food was delicious. Refills are at no cost here and the atmosphere here is relaxing. We came in for breakfast at 0745 and was seated. Four other customers were seat after us and they were severed before us. Be advised the place wasn't busy and i noted they had 5 servers. After being ignored, my wife had to address a server for service at that time, we decided to leave and invest our money in another establishment down the road Crackins. I don't know what the issue was with First Watches service and attention to details concerning customer service, but be advised we were the only minority customers at that time. One of the stranger experiences I have had at a restaurant. Waited 5 minutes for them to clear a table, no issues there. We were seated and for 10 minutes no one came to our table. The people next to us had their food delivered and ate everything before I finally walked up to the manager, who sat us, and asked if we had a server. A few minutes later he came over and took our order. Most of the food came out pretty quickly but we were missing my toast and my daughter's eggs. The person who delivered the food acknowledged that they were missing my toast. The three of us finished everything on our plates and then finally my toast arrived to which I got the comment from the server "here's your toast but it's probably too late." I asked about the eggs, she appeared flustered, then walked away. Finally the eggs came. I grabbed the check and paid up front. I don't think the manager was aware of the food delays. Oh well, I didn't say anything. He did give me a coupon for a free entree if we came back. We will not. Two stars because my omelette was good. My kids didn't like their meal. read more

Amazing healthy breakfast. This is honestly the best breakfast I have ever purchased in the US. I am a food lover and tend to eat healthy all the time but it is hard to find a good replacement outside home, but this is the only one I have found so far. I came from HOUSTON, TX. The restaurant is located in a mall area and there is plenty of parking. I ordered the breakfast tostadas special and coffee. A whole carafe of coffee is served to your table so you can fill up as much as you'd like to. The coffee is fresh and supports a good cause. My s.o. Found First Watch on Yelp. It's a farm to table concept serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Think of it as a "Whole Foods" type of restaurant. My wife had a whole grain blueberry pancake with bacon and seasoned potatoes which was delicious. I had the Power wrap with cage free egg whites, turkey, spinach, crimini mushrooms and seasoned potatoes in lieu of fresh fruit. Very very tasty. Both entrées had more than ample sized portions. Service was also top notch and very attentive. Our waitress noticed me inspecting my water glass and replaced it without my even asking. When in Destin, you owe it to yourself to check this place out instead of the usual breakfast/lunch options. You won't be disappointed. read more

Delicious organic offerings with choice meats and cheeses. I ordered the Market Vegetable Sandwich with avocado and it was deliciously toasted to crispy perfection. I also had the Cobb Salad with turkey and the meat was NOT cold cut type of meat, but fresh turkey chunks of high quality. My husband ordered the Ham and Gruyere Sandwich and was also impressed with the quality of his food. Breakfast foods consist of cage free eggs and healthy options that I will try next time.
