I got the biscuits and gravy, and my boyfriend ordered an egg breakfast with sausage and bacon, and everything was really good. The food came out fresh and flavorful, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. We did have about a ten-minute wait for a table, but it was the day after Easter, so we expected it to be a little busy, and it honestly was not bad at all. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was great too, really comfortable and easygoing, and it felt like a place you could sit and enjoy your time. Great place to eat for breakfast. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Loco moco. My husband enjoyed the steak and eggs. The waitress kept our coffee and drinks refilled! Cute little diner. Cook is preparing food right in front of the bar-nothing to hide. I ordered eggs over medium, bacon crisp, grits and toast. Easy peasy, right? Should've been. Eggs were a tad runny (I opted to keep them in lieu of time), toast was not 'crisp'-just a little under cooked, and bacon came out normal-not crispy/not soft. Flavor was good, grits were delicious I think the cook may have been in a hurry as there were two additional orders of undercooked eggs that came back to him while we were sitting there. He was less than pleased, but remade the orders. I can't say that I would not go here again, but the cook could do better by spending the extra 30 seconds it takes to actually finish cooking the food. Good service from the waitress. read more

My son got bacon and eggs and he commented on how the bacon was thick cut and delicious. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating on a busy Sunday morning. If you like a great traditional home style short order breakfast then this place is for you. It's very similar to a Waffle House style restaurant with counter and booth service. The waitresses are very friendly and take care of you. They have a wide variety of options including the traditional eggs, bacon and sausage as well as waffles, pancakes and omelettes. They also do a chop steak or country fried steak. We had the biscuits and gravy and the Big T Omelette with a side of toast and grits. The biscuits are light and fluffy and the sausage gravy is delicious. The Big T comes stuffed with hash browns, sausage, bacon, ham, cheese and tomatoes and onions. It is topped with sausage gravy. It was filling and delicious. My only negative remark would be that the grits could have been hotter and had more salt. However, I am admittedly very critical when it comes to grits. Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfast and I recommend a the Coffee Shoppe to anyone in the area. read more

Horrible! Will never go back there. The place is dingy. I got sausage links two eggs and hashbrowns. Sausage was like tasteless plastic and hashbrowns were burned. Eggs were good so I'll give you that. My friend ordered a steak omelette and it was gross. The meat was gray, like it was boiled. Did not taste good. On top all that the meal was $28 for this meal. I hate writing bad reviews. The turning point was reading about others who experienced the same treatment. Being ignored and poor service. The reason? Who knows! Feels like being discriminated due to ancestry, color, fashion, hair??? Whatever the reason - It's Never Good!!! It became painfully obvious that the "Locals" (known by name) get served first and we probably appeared to be "not from around here" are served last (or never). I sympathize with the review having to wait 40 minutes, we watched 5 tables come in after us, get greeted by name and get their food before us. We waited 35 minutes (no food), realized our place in this societal environment and left. Man, this is 2021, and I'm with a person who lives in Niceville (I think that makes him a local?), near an Air Force base where multiple cultures work together and come here to get treated this way? It's a sad day in Niceville with folks like these being the way they are. Why don't you just put up a sign saying "LOCALS ONLY." At least you'd be honest about your preferential treatment.
