Delicious food and lovely service by a lady with curly hair. However, one of the service workers who I believe is named Elyse or Elyssa who wears glasses and has brown hair gave us some very rude comments that I felt were racially motivated. My husband and I drove over an hour to eat at First Watch. Because we love it, and all the delicious healthy options, however this time instead a relaxing enjoyable meal.... We were met with loud and obnoxious staff who would yell at each other in the kitchen, and bang the dust pan around our table as they swept. If this was just your average every day diner our expectations would have been lower however we hold First Watch to a higher standard. (Higher prices, higher standard) They were closing, but still if you are not yet closed and have customers in the restaurant, keep it professional. read more

Great breakfast, brunch, lunch place. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait but they text when your table is ready, so we walked and browsed the adjacent shops. Also, we learned you can jump in line on the yelp app, which is great because we will be back! My husband loved the Project Sunrise Columbian coffee. He had the Chickichanga, really tasty, fresh ingredients and a large filling portion. I had the turkey burger with avocado and a side of greens. The wait was about 30 minutes for a table of 5, which isnt bad for this sort of place. The food was good but really small portions compared to most breakfast spots. For some reason, our waitress was very rude. Any time she came to serve our table, it was with an attitude (like eyes rolling, huffing, basically just dropping things on the table). She brought our checks as soon as we started eating. She acted as if she had a personal beef with one of us. Definitely threw a damper on the whole experience. Make sure that you check in via Yelp if you are going here during the busy season. We were able to walk in and be seated with a 20 minute wait by adding ourselves to the waitlist. That being said, OMG... The food is amazing and fresh. Our waitress was extremely attentive even with the morning rush going on. My daughter had the quinoa bowl with chicken and pesto and my hubby and I both had the traditional breakfast. His with turkey sausage and mine with bacon. Bacon.... Mmmmmm. The bacon is fabulous. The potatoes were perfection. Overall, one of the best breakfast experiences I have had in a touristy area in a LONG time. This is the second time I have set up a luncheon for our Bible Study. I have dealt with Brad, James, Dimitry and Becky who was our last waitress. This time we had Chantel. Your staf runs a very smooth execution of having the tables ready, taking drink orders as the guest come in and taking the food orders in an orderly fashion. It all went very well. It is large servings and a perfect price point if you sign up on their site for e club you will receive a free meal. Every bite is like a taste explosion . Definitely a hidden gem in Destin Fla. It's in a strip mall which seemed a bit odd but the decor inside is so awesome. Please give it a try you will not be dissatisfied. We're headed home from our trip and noticed there's one in Franklin Tennessee! guess where were headed for lunch!!! My favorite place to have breakfast! The menu is full of fresh and delicious healthy options from lemon ricotta pancakes, to chia seed power bowls. They also have daily fresh juice that comes in a rather large glass which is nice. The green juice that's on their daily menu is a must! Overrated for sure. I'm a local and have eaten here three times. I'm finished with giving another try. Food is truly mediocre and service is inconsistent to flat out poor. Each of our three visits has resulted in errors from the service staff. We have yet to receive an apology or concession of any kind. Typically the server has argued and refused to take responsibility for the error. Also the case with management. This restaurant has a lot of attitude for a breakfast, salad, and sandwich place. We'd never stopped for breakfast anywhere in Destin, but we heard great things so we decided to try it out for valentine's day! The food is super fresh, they have TONS of options (both healthy and indulgent), delicious juices and coffee. I had the Healthy Turkey and my boyfriend had the Chickichanga (both so good!) we hardly had to wait at all but I've heard it gets super packed during season. Highly recommend Kathryn as your server! We ate at noon on Black Friday when it was very busy. Our waitress was fantastic and gave us very quick service. I enjoyed the pesto chicken Quinoa bowl and it was delicious and fresh. My wife had a Chicken Salad Melt. She enjoyed her lunch as well. We were not rushed. We saw some delicious breakfast plates coming out to other customers. Absolutely delicious food! I loved the healthy variety on the menu. Nothing lacked in taste. I enjoyed the "Bacado" and French toast dipped in custard. Excellent choice! And I loved the Kale tonic. Portions are large. The ambiance was so fun and we loved the farm style decor. This restaurant is at the top of my list for brunch in Destin. Cheryl, our server, was so friendly and sweet. Nice atmosphere. Service was decent but slower than you would expect for a breakfast place. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. I got the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs hashbrowns, toast, and bacon. The bacon was limp and chewy, the hashbrowns were large chunks of potatoes, and were pretty dry and very onion-y. The best thing on the plate was the toast. If I ever did come back to this restaurant I would probably try the French toast just based on the bread alone. My son got the pancake and it was OK but crumble pretty easily and was pretty dry. Overall it was just an OK meal. Definitely don't think it was worth the $20 price tag. read more
