I've always loved first watch! The past couple of times it has been a hit or miss though. I think it is because they are usually always busy and a tad understaffed. Last time I went, it took the server 15 minutes to bring us drinks. The manager actually noticed we had been sitting there for a while and sent over another server but then our original server wound up coming out. I think if they had more help during the crazy rush hours, the experiences would be better. read more

First Watch - Blueberry muffin top griddle cakes - Cafes Near Me - Deerfield Beach, Florida

What's not to love about FirstWatch? We've been here over 20 times and never had a bad experience. The service is always prompt and friendly, the food is always fresh and made as ordered, and with their recently-refreshed interiors, the dining room is a pleasure to look at. It can get pretty busy for weekend brunch, so if you do attend on the weekend for breakfast, go early or put your name on the list via Yelp first! I usually get either the "traditional" or a "trifecta." Those are great go-tos if you want a fairly standard breakfast. I think they make the best pancakes and waffles around, so try them for sure! read more

Took the family there for a Saturday brunch for Memorial Day Weekend. Had reserved spot online. Tables were available, but still had to wait 5 min to be acknowledged. Got seated in the middle of the whole restaurant. Ok fine..after 15 min..no waitress. Couple came in after us, got seated..had a waitress and drinks within 5 min. I flagged down hostess who summons waitress. Went back to seat, still no waitress after 5 more minutes of waiting. We left and went to Coral Springs location..Got served within 5 minutes of arrival. So we will never go back to the Deerfield location. read more

i come here every saturday to order take out for me and my girlfriend, came in on the 24th and the african american girl didn't check out my order or have me pay for my pancakes, just an absolute jerk she was to me. Will not be coming back due to that disrespect towards me. read more

Always like First watch, but I don't know what it Is about the one on West Hillsboro just west of Powerline rd on ticket# 30063 and waitress Evonna, ordered Florida French toast with side of bacon, decaf coffee and a coke.... Bacon was cold and half done and seemed like it was made 3 hours before, decaf was watered down and the coke was weak for sure, 23.28 for this visit, my last visit, and I was pissed the manager doesn't check on these things they are putting out.... Plus 4.99 for a side of bacon‍$$ and the cook put this out not giving a S..t!!!! Never again Bill B read more

Service could have been better but food was a 10/10. Super fresh and great portions for the price. Little bit of a wait. Waitress didn't pay too much attention to us. I will probably be back and hope for better service, fingers crossed. read more

I started hitting first watch just a few weeks ago. It's a very unassuming place from the outside. It's by some other fast food places like Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A, but wow it's very much the opposite. It's one of the healthiest breakfast menus I have seen. And what's more,,, edible healthy! Everything looks and tastes great. I have been hooked on the power wrap. It's tastes incredible. You would swear it's not healthy as good as it tastes. And yet it's nutritional and comes with a big bowl of fruit besides. The kale juice that you can get must have something added to its extra tasty because it tastes better than any kale thing I have had before. I haven't had too many other items(avocado toast is killer good) but I definitely plan to. So far the word isn't out on this fairly new spot. You can order and be in and out far faster than you would expect. Just one more reason why I dig the spot. To be fair, it's sits near my gym so convenience plays a small part. But I sure plan to keep stopping in for breakfast a couple times a week. read more

As usual first watch came in consultant no matter where we have tried it on our travels. Wish they had more options for Vegans.

Love First Watch! They have an amazing variety including a healthy menu with gluten free pancakes- yummy! The green juice is great and my son always loves the blueberry pancakes. Only issue is the restaurant is always packed on the weekends in the AM. Worth the wait but get there early read more

Thx food here was pretty good. I enjoyed breakfast. As you can see from the picture, the portions were small but enough to be fulfilling. The French toast had a nice taste and wasn't too sweet. The bacon was crispy just the way I like it. read more

I always love this restaurant. I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict and it was fabulous. It comes with seasoned black beans but I wanted their seasoned potatoes so my server, Mariana suggested I substitute. Great recommendation as both would have been too much. I was greeted and seated immediately and Mariana tended to every detail to make my visit memorable and enjoyable. I'd give her and First Watch ten stars if I could. read more

Let's update my review to my even worse experience at this location. Upon arrival we requested a booth and were placed at a table (of my choosing) to notice that the table was set but very dirty! The juice cups were filthy as though they had not been properly washed if washed st all. Our waitress agreed and said they did a poor job the night before but the staff still set the table...? Strange! Disgusting! Why would they do that. Cups were removed and never brought back. Service was terrible. The food came out and didn't look anything like other locations. My eggs weren't cooked evenly. Everything looked sloppy. My fiancé' ham was overly burnt and the outside of his pancake as well. So disappointed, again! This location is so convenient for us! Quick, convenient, fresh. Food was splendid. Service is mediocre. I've had far better serve at their other locations. Wasn't given water so when the manager walked by, I asked for some. As he walks back he puts out his arms towards the staff like "what the heck, not my duty" read more

This is the second time in two days that my to go order has been wrong. And if you count the amount of times my assorted jobs in the area have ordered from here over the past year for us -7 out of 7 times they have gotten my order wrong. I want to like you First Watch but you've literally never given me what I've ordered. Yesterday i got a chicken soup instead of a tomato basil and I'm vegetarian so i didn't get to eat lunch at all yesterday, thanks for that.... Today i ordered a pecan salad with no meat and extra avocado, I got less than half of an avocado and NO PECANS which are the highlight of the dish if you get it without the meat. C'mon. This is ridiculous I'm basically eating lettuce, cheese, and the saddest third of an avocado I've ever seen. I worked in food service for years and i never would have let this terrible excuse for a salad be seen by a customer. Please show the effort to make this right? read more

I have never had a meal I disliked here. Market veggie is my absolute favorite but I like making my way through the menu! The only thing I didn't love here was the eggs benny, the hollandaise could use some work. But everything else has been to die for! read more

This place was delicious with some great healthy options and less healthy ones if that's what you're into (the million dollar bacon). We started with the million dollar bacon which was amazing and couple of the seasonal juices, which were good but a little pricey for being just good. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious; chickenchanga was good but needed more avocado. Biscuits and gravy were also good but the gravy needed to be thicker and more chunky. The service was really good and I really enjoyed the early check in via the yelp app. read more

The Deerfield location needs help. I asked for extra crispy bacon and got the gummy standard version. The grits were awful...seems to be a challenge for First Watch. Maybe they should remove it from the menu. Thankfully, the eggs and toast were right on. read more

I love 1st watch and frequent the Deerfield location. Sometimes they do fall a bit short as this happened last Sunday that I visited. Its not very organized with checking in and paying, literally a mob of people pretty much 9-1. I visited around 12:30 and was told a 20 minute wait, waited 40 minutes, and their digital list said it was an hour plus. The food came out fast but the servers are never to be found for fresh coffee or condiments. I asked for water and didn't recieve it until the end of the meal. I'll be back because I love the food so much but I may go out my way to another location because of the inconsistent service and disorganization. read more

As a customer here for years, on a weekly basis I have to address some major issues that have gotten worse and worse at this location Food is undercooked - bacon may have been fresh from the packaging and not cooked (3 meals worth at once) had to send back for safety reasons and took 3 different people to "check on it" 5 different employees came to our table leading to no consistency. Our son wanted orange juice, which was ordered with the meal, never came after 5 different people were asked. Even when the check was given to us there was no juice to be found. Tables were sticky and not well cleaned This establishment was once a great location but has since fallen terribly. We will not be back. read more

On Dec 24 I had breakfast with my mother. The bill came out to $28 dollars. Days later, I saw they overcharge my credit card for $60 from this restaurant. Spoke to the manager. Refused to credit my card but promised to mail me food coupons. The coupons never arrived and they kept the overcharge. Please watch your bank statement when visiting this location. The overcharge came from the $30 something dollars tip they added to my card. read more

I'm not too impressed by First Watch. It's maybe a little nicer than a local breakfast diner because of the decor and the whole 'healthy' facade. Being vegan, there's virtually nothing off of the menu that I can just order without making substitutions. I've been to the location near Tampa and had the A.M. Superfood Bowl which is a bowl of coconut milk chia seed pudding with fresh bananas, berries, blackberry preserves and housemade granola. It's served with a slice of the whole grain artisan toast topped with almond butter and sea salt, which after browsing the website, I realized is in fact NOT vegan (thought it is labeled as such). Apparently the bread apparently contains milk. There's nothing that I can't stand more than misinformation when it comes to ingredients, it's not brain surgery. As a server, you should be 100% knowledgeable about what is in the food you serve, as some people have real allergies that can be life threatening. With that being said, on this trip, I decided to go with something different and tried the Brilliant Beet Toast (not yet realizing the fact of the toast). I was happy that our server said I could sub out the eggs that the dish is served with and of course omit the goat cheese. I asked our server if the potatoes were vegan since it's sometimes cooked with butter; without hesitation she says, "oh yea, that's not vegan". So I reluctantly went wIth the tomato soup that she assured me was vegan. That was when I decided to go online and double check. Come to find out the opposite - potatoes are vegan and the soup contains milk thus making it NOT vegan. My husband called her back to the table to discuss and asked her to just go ask the chef. She came back and said she was mistaken and that the potatoes are cooked in oil but said the soup is new (??) and it really is vegan. Okay lady, don't believe you at this point but okayyyy. Either way, the food was good but we both left irritated at her ignorance. Let's not forget that when we walked in and waited to be seated, the couple behinnd us was helped before us. Wtf? Apparently the line when you walk in the front door is to pay your check. Good to know. Thanks for the sign. We waited again in that same long line on our way out to be helped by a guy trying to rush us and push us out the door. Happy Sunday! read more
