Amazing work on an allergy order. After not being able to eat at multiple places I checked, first watch (Stacy) said come on in! I was so thankful to be able to eat safe food (dairy-soy-peanut-almond free) for breakfast. I got an omelette cooked in olive oil with gf toast and jelly and fruit. Everything was tasty. There was a bit of cheese that fell on the edge but other than that everything was delicious! I would love in the future an oat or coconut milk latte added to the menu. Our waitress Carly was absolutely amazing and did phenomenal. She even mentioned that she had the chef double check the ingredients in our food for allergens, which made me feel safe. Just went to the new Firstwatch in Cold Spring, Ky and everything was great! The whole place is beautiful and in a great location, and there was plenty of help! Waitresses were friendly and very well trained and the food came out quick. First and foremost it's cool that first watch knows that you have arrived and there is know need to check-in when you arrive! Greeting to be seated was warm and friendly. Stacy, who served as the as the food provocateur while I was there this morning was exceptionally outgoing and kind! Food here is always great! Some favorites are the seasonal cinnamon chip pancakes and the million dollar bacon. As far as drinks go, you can't go wrong with the pomegranate sunrise or the blackberry sangria. The service is usually decent and staff is nice. Was in a surly mood and looking at a wait did nothing to change that. Was told 15 minutes and I took the over. I lost the bet, 10 minutes tops, great service, great food (as always). Left in a much better mood. My grandson forgot to order his favorite Millionaire Dollar Bacon so I flagged down the waitress and it came out like she forgot to bring it instead of us forgetting to order it. I had the traditional, as always. Will probably go to First Watch again tomorrow as there is one right around the corner from the hotel I should note two things, 1: I love first watch and have only had two bad experiences is many, many visits. 2: The reason for four stars and not five is I have to go up to pay instead of the wait staff taking it up-I hate that. Let me start this review by letting you know that I LOVE First Watch. This review is directed specifically at this location. My wife and I had to drive to Erlanger to go to DHS for an interview for TSA Pre-Check. When we left, I decided to stop at First Watch for breakfast. We came in and put our name on the list. Nothing earth shattering about that but this is where our issues began. There was call ahead seating which is fine when it is used properly. What the staff did not know was that we were standing within earshot of the check in and overheard the conversations. We were told 30 - 45 minutes wait time and we watched one couple after another walk in and put their names on the list and then get seated before us. At first I assumed that these people had called in but the longer I stood there and listened to the conversations, I quickly realized that these people knew the manager. There was some older guy who quickly recognized a lot of these people and quickly sat them. After over an hour waiting, the older man looked over and saw us, made eye contact, realized we were extremely angry, and had the look of a whipped puppy dog who realized he screwed up. What else could go wrong you ask? The food was lukewarm warm and clearly sat under a lamp, our server was awful and rude, they were slow getting us our check, and the place was filthy. I can count on 1 hand how many times I have walked out of a restaurant without leaving a tip and this is one of them. Avoid this place like the plague! read more

The salad has black beans corn chicken several types of lettuce crushed tortilla chips. I got a Lemon vinaigrette with it. So fresh and light. I stopped in here for breakfast and I was not disappointed! I was seated right away and greeted by my server (Erica) with a huge welcoming smile, ice cold water and a pot of fresh hot coffee. I went with an iced coffee with oat milk option which did not disappoint. They also have a new juice my server suggested, called Tangerine Dream, which was delicious! My main reason for coming in was for the Triple Berry Açaí Bowl. You cant find true açaí anywhere around here so I was elated to try it. The cinnamon granola on top with the huge fresh berries made the açaí that much better. Well, my wife was insistent on going to first watch at the town center location. We both, let me repeat this. We both got violently ill from whatever the hell it was we ate. My wife ordered a simple omelette with cheese onion, and I ordered a basic BLT. Which is supposed to be bacon, lettuce, and tomato. When the food got to the table, nothing was right. I asked the waiter specifically which it's not his fault, to make sure that it was only a bacon, lettuce and tomato dry. No mayonnaise no egg none of the other happy crap that they try to foo foo the sandwich up with , My wife's omelette came out with mushrooms, tomatoes cheese. So it was basically wrong. We sent everything back and I watched the kitchen staff, including the expo, pointed our table, and everyone started to laugh. I found this very disheartening when people find out that they do something wrong and try to blame it on the customer. When I actually seen the receipt And what it had said from the server. This is a lack of training. This is a lack of performance from the staff in general. The manager came out and apologized, which was OK, but I also realized it was not her fault nor was it the servers. Maybe if the line cooks actually took the time to serve and understand that they are messing with servers money, this probably wouldn't happen. When you mess with people's money, you piss people off! (server wise that is) This was the third attempt on my part to try this place again and of course, they would screw up a wet dream! I like breakfast foods, but these people are so snotty so entitled and opinionated, that I will not be returning to this location period! Took my family out for a great mean and First Watch delivered! Food is very organic, earthy, and makes you feel that you're eating pretty healthy. I had plenty to eat, very little left over, and didn't feel gross/blah as I usually do after a heavy meal. I'm a huge fan of their million dollar bacon, the works omelet, and the morning meditation drink. The only thing stopping me from a 5* review is the food is overpriced for the portion I received in comparison to other restaurants. However, it's worth the splurge every once and a while. Our waitress was very polite, accommodating, and gave excellent services. My family walked away happy and that certainly made me happy. One of my best friends brought here for breakfast since I was leaving already since I just came to visit a couple of days. This place is very nice and the customer service was even better. I have been here several times in the past and I can say that their breakfast food is better than their lunch food. I went here for lunch with some friends today and I wasn't in the mood for breakfast. I ordered the monterrey club sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was really good but it sandwich was kind of bland. It left me wishing I had ordered something else. My friends were all happy with their meals, but most agreed that it is overpriced and they would come more often if it was a little cheaper. One thing I do like is that they give you a jar of cold ice water to fill your drinks your self when you run out. Everyone gets a small cup of water besides whatever drink they order. I've now been to First Watch in five cities including here. It's always the same type of food. But the setup of this First Watch seemed different. It didn't have any of those random walls or anything. It was just one open room. There were doors hanging from the ceiling and a light color painted on the wall. I think it was blue? It was very calming! I came on a Tuesday at noon and it was busy. No wait or anything though. Most of the patrons were elderly folks. I guess this is the hot spot! I also saw a ton of moms. My friends and I were probably the youngest in there. Service was great! The guy was really nice and personable. He told us that his a triplet. LOL. I ordered the power wrap which had turkey, egg whites, spinach, mushrooms, and mozzarella. The pico made it more flavorful but only lasted for one half of the burrito. The fruit was good though! My friend one blueberry pancake which she really enjoyed. She actually didn't finish it but she never eats much. My other friend got biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs. It came with potatoes. She loved the turkey sausage and thought the potatoes could've used more seasoning. Anyway, the prices are always pretty good. Of all of the area First Watch locations I've been to, this one has the most relaxed environment. We got there during the Sunday brunch rush and were seated after only 20 minutes when they estimated it to be a 40 minute wait. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are on par with the quality and amount of food you get. However, when I first walked in there was this very pungent almost a McDonald's playground smell (you know the smell) that I just kept trying to get over but maybe the place just needs a deep clean because it's not carpeted... I had the greens as the side and they were not heavily dressed BUT I would've enjoyed the salad a lot more if it was a little fresher, I had to pick out all the old lettuce. First Watch is a great breakfast spot. We got their early ahead of the hungry Labor Day crowds. We were seated right away so it was nice not to have a wait. There's common breakfast items on the menu with something for everyone from omelettes, Benedicts, breakfast plates to pancakes to hash. They also have plenty of healthier options for those watching calories. I took a peak at the seasonal menu and couldn't resist the pumpkin pancake breakfast. And of course a coffee. And I really appreciate they leave a small pitcher of coffee at the table for refills. The meal was good. The pancake had a little spice and wasn't overly sweet. The chicken sausage patty is delicious and I wish the meal came with two. The eggs were okay. I had to season them a bit. I was catching up with a friend so we took our time and staff didn't mind. This is my second visit to a First Watch and first to this particular location. They specialize in organic type of foods focusing particularly on breakfasts. Normally I eat as many unhealthy foods as possible but I gotta be a real foodie and check every kind of joint out. This is actually really good for what it is with the service being pretty good to go along with the modern looking decor here. Now let's take a look at the food... Roast Beef And Havarti Sandwich with Tomato Basil Soup What Is It: The sandwich comes with roast beef, horseradish Havarti cheese, roasted onions, tomatoes, and arugala the latter three I left off. The horseradish sauce is on the side and it comes on parmesan crusted sourdough bread. I also got tomato basil soup. Presentation: Everything looked delicious and ready to devour. 9 out of 10 Taste/Final Analysis: Well the tomato basil soup was flavoured well so that's good. I always wish for a full sleeve of saltine crackers for a bowl of tomato soup but that really has nothing to do with this. The sandwich was well put together with lots of roast beef and the delicious Havarti cheese. I like that they put the horseradish on the side so I could get as heavy handed as I wanted.
