I enjoyed my visit to this cat café so much! Coffee and cats - or, cocktails and cats! Such a lovely place to spend some time. The café and barroom is big and spacious with plenty of places to sit; at the bar, at a table OR at a counter that runs all along the glass wall giving you an up close view of the cat interaction section. I would have loved to spend some time in there but my husband didn't want to pay the fee this time. It's okay as I know we'll be back one day. We snacked on a blueberry scone and a savory soft pretzel. My husband was happy to indulge in his favorite beer on tap (Truth) and I had a Smelly Cat Frappe. They have all kinds of adorable merchandise for sale. Many special events here too. The staff were very welcoming, cheerful, and happy to chat. Plan a visit soon! read more

This is such a cute place! I've always been interested by the idea of eating and animals in the same area and this is nice because it's separate. We got to go in a play with the kittens and then have a treat after. The room with the kittens was really clean and they were so fun to play and snuggle with. We will be back! read more

I've visited several cat cafés while traveling, and there are many pawsitives here. It's clean, aesthetically pleasing, the staff are friendly, and I appreciate the lack of loud music and strong air fresheners. And, of course, the kittens are adorable. My biggest concern is cat safety. This is the first cat café I've visited where a staff member wasn't consistently in the cat room. We were even told upon arrival that a kitten had just had its tail stepped on. I was also surprised there isn't a double-door/vestibule separating the cat area from the lobby and nearby exterior door. During our visit, a young child was handling kittens roughly while they cried and repeatedly tried to get away. The father eventually left the children unattended in the cat room. I finally alerted staff, and to their credit, they immediately came in, removed the kitten from the child's hands, and addressed the behavior. Because the family was there to adopt, I expressed concern about what I witnessed. I was genuinely surprised to see the next day that Onyx had been adopted by this family. I understand I don't know everything involved in the adoption decision, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about the kitten repeatedly trying to escape and hide. I'd also love to see a larger coffee/espresso selection. Without the safety concerns, this would have been close to a 5-star experience. It's a lovely café, but I hope they consider consistent staff supervision in the cat room and additional safety measures, as well as doing their best to ensure cats are going to home where people and children demonstrate safe handling and respect for the cats. read more

My wife and I absolutely love coming to the cat cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly but firm with their rules to ensure the cats health and safety. We have gone a few times just to play with the cats and we've also gone to adopt before. They make the adoption process very simple and easy. I've not tried any of the food yet, but their drinks are great, with or without booze, and you can't beat drinking a meow-garita while sitting in a room surrounded by kittens! read more

I've been to the Purrfect Day Cafe at least 20 times...no joke and every time it fills me with so much happiness. You can tell the workers here care and love about the cats so much. I'm an animal lover, but I absolutely adore cats. When my best friend mentioned that she thought there was a cat cafe near her, I wasted no time hopping on Google and immediately booked a visit. As someone who has visited quite a few cat cafes around the world, I feel absolutely confident in giving Purrfect Day 5 stars! The setup is perfect! There is a fantastic sized play room for you to visit and cuddle with kitties and the cafe side is adorable. I appreciate that there is plenty of room to spread out and hang with the cats, and they allow kids to spend time with the cats. We brought my godkids with us to visit the cafe and it was wonderful. I'm convinced that I have made cat-lovers of them. I love that all of the cats are available to adopt. For those of us who are from out of town, or maybe can't have a cat, I really appreciate that there is a place you can go and just spend some time with a few furry friends. It's beneficial for us and it helps socialize the cats to make them more adoptable. I am already planning on future visits when I come back out to visit my bestie. read more

What a wonderful place! We didn't plan well and got there about half an hour before they closed. But the lovely employees still let us in to play with the kitties. The kitty room was impeccably clean which is saying a lot considering it was full of kittens! The employees were also super friendly, answering our questions and giving us literature and info on their business, schedule, wishlist, etc. When I'm back in the area I will definitely come back at an earlier time! read more

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I paid $30 to visit what was advertised as a cozy, welcoming cat café--what I actually walked into was a heartbreaking and infuriating situation. Several of the cats looked visibly ill. Some were so congested they were struggling to breathe. When I politely asked the staff if the cats were receiving any kind of veterinary care or medication before being adopted, I was met with hostility and denial. One staff member actually told me the cats "aren't sick" and that it would be the adopter's responsibility to medicate them. That's not only dishonest, it's cruel. On top of the poor animal welfare, the staff were unbelievably rude. Rather than showing care or compassion, they acted like my concerns were the problem--not the fact that cats in their care were suffering. This is not how rescue or adoption should ever work. It's unethical to charge people to sit in a room with visibly sick animals, misrepresent their health, and then push the responsibility onto adopters. If you care about cats, please do not support this place. There are countless legitimate rescues and shelters that actually care for the animals before sending them home. read more

To have a place where one gets to enjoy kittens that are willing to engage with you is very rare! So many cat cafes overwork kittens to the point that when I visit them, the kittens would be completely aloof and just not interested in human interaction. This tells me that the kittens here are taken care of very well, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! 50 minutes felt just right. Not too long and not too short. The staff was very friendly as well and gave us instructions and had very wholesome attitudes. I kind of wished that I purchased a drink, though, but we did have to catch a bus to leave for the airport. Regardless, 5 stars! read more

This is a tough review because I really adore this place and the concept but there's certainly room for improvement. The environment for the kitties is nice with plenty of food, litter boxes and places to nap. While there are some signs posted with rules it was a bit surprising to see the lack of any kind of supervisor or associate enforcing the rules. Looking at the hours of operation it seems the kitties have zero down time during business hours which makes it hard for them to get the rest they need. This place has done a tremendous job in finding homes for kitties but this also means a lot of new cats coming in at an alarming rate. If one cat gets sick the risk of spreading to the rest of the cats is very high. My wife and I ended up adopting one of the cats during our visit and the adoption was a bit unusual. We asked some questions and got very vague answers. We were told to come back the following day to complete the adoption and pick up our new kitty. We ended up asking the same questions and getting different answers. We couldn't seem to get details on where the cat came from and when they were fixed. They had their age as 1 year and 6 months. We took him to our Vet a few days after adoption where they said he was maybe 8 months old, nowhere near a year and a half. The vet was astounded at the lack of details regarding the health history from the adoption papers.unfortunately we found out from our Vet that he had worms and fleas along with a bacterial infection. Makes you wonder how many of those other cats had the same thing. I'm hopeful that Purrfect Day can tweak a few things and make this a truly remarkable place to spend some time with cats which may lead to even more adoptions. The cafe itself has some delicious drinks and snacks which are worth stopping by for on their own. read more

A wonderful stop near Cincinnati! Purrfect for young and old cat lovers! They have a variety of hot and cold beverages and baked goods. You can take your beverage in with you see pet the cats. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cat area and all of the cats looked very well cared for. All are adoptable (they partner with area rescue organizations). They had a staff member available to answer any questions about the cars and to keep everyone (cats and people) safe. We will definitely be bringing visitors back and if we decide we are ready to add another four legged family member we will definitely stop by! Keep up the great work! read more

I will never come back because of the way a staff member acted towards me and my autistic daughter. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome and like my daughter couldn't exist how she is which obviously is different than nuerotypical people. It's unfortunate because she was so excited and would love to come back. I won't go back because she made us feel so damn unwelcome. It's hard enough going out into the community when you're child is different. I don't want to pay money to be made to feel unwelcome when I can get it plenty for free. Many business and people talk about being inclusive but often times do the complete opposite whether they intend to or not. read more

Purrfect Day Cat Cafe is the Purrfect place for cat cuddles. It is a good cause and a good experience.

There aren't enough stars I could give, I've come to visit here three times and if I didn't live 5 hours away I probably would come everyday/ actually get a job here. My goodness I can't praise the place enough!!! It's extremely clean and fresh, absolutely no orders, plenty of lounging seats and just all together a peaceful and zen environment!!! I can't express the joy I had here, every single cat there (and there were different cats each time I'd go) had their little personality's, some where more shy and introverted, and some were friendly and would come and sleep in my lap! Though there were many cats I was never harmed by a cat nor did I see any unhappy kittens. If you are near here and even if you don't like cats I 110% recommended coming here! It's like jumping into a happy purring cloud! Also I think the price is very generous, and you can adopt the kittens you play with!!!! Just a great place all around!! read more

I stopped by here before heading back to KY as it was new to see other than getting my usual cuppa. Parking in the area was hard to find if the area is busy, but I'm glad I was able to get a spot--designated for the coffee shop only. The store itself was so cute and well thought out. A petting room at the front of the store lets you pet foster kittens (by appointment only). If you are unlike me, you would search this place ahead of time, make an appointment to play, and see all the kittens available for adoption! I missed out on this, but you don't have to. Please visit this store's website at https://purrfectdaycafecovington.com/ to make an appointment if you want to see the kittens and are interested in adopting one. The rest of the store is filled with knick-knacks that you can purchase, such as stickers, t-shirts, hoodies, and so much more. There are tables and chairs if you want to hang out here to enjoy your cuppa or study. I ordered a matcha frappe and a calico scone. They were so delicious! A must-have, for sure. The staff was super friendly and recommended some options to the regular guests. The ambiance is excellent, too. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cincy and around Covington. read more

I was really excited to check out this cat cafe, but I was pretty disappointed:( only coffee they have is drip and the rest are super sugary non coffee drinks. I got matcha but they only have nondairy milks and cream so that was unfortunate, as well as the drink just tasting like syrup. On the bright side, the cat lounge seemed pretty well kept and there were a lot of cats. It's a 50 minute minimum for a visit though which is quite long in my opinion. The workers were very friendly and helpful though! read more

The drinks are great and who doesn't want to spend time drinking coffee with some amazing fur babies.

Cute kittens, about 30of them in the room, all very well taken care of. Didn't try any of the drinks, but they looked to have a decent sized menu. They have a free parking lot across the street from them. Also, if you have a cat at home, buy one of the cat kicker toys with catnip in it, it's now my cats absolute favorite toy. I absolutely love this place! I have been here on three separate occasions now. Each time has been an awesome experience. When we visited there were about 20-30 cats and kittens in the kitten lounge. There are tons of places for the kittens to curl up for a nap and plenty of toys to interact with them. Lots of kittens were napping when we visited, but they didn't mind being pet as they snoozed. As our time went on a lot of them were waking up and they were ready to play which was a lot of fun. The only negative is I wish you got a little bit more time with the kittens- 50 minutes goes too fast! After our most recent visit we stopped in the cafe after our kitten time. We tried an iced coffee and a brownie. The cafe is comfortable and laid back. read more
