    Kitten we adopted!
    Bradley B.

My wife and I absolutely love coming to the cat cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly but firm with their rules to ensure the cats health and safety. We have gone a few times just to play with the cats and we've also gone to adopt before. They make the adoption process very simple and easy. I've not tried any of the food yet, but their drinks are great, with or without booze, and you can't beat drinking a meow-garita while sitting in a room surrounded by kittens!

Had a lovely visit to Purrfect Day Cafe, after driving around the block a few times trying to find it. Loved playing with all the kittens, although there were a ton of people in there. I had the smelly cat with bourbon cream. DELICIOUS!!

I've been to the Purrfect Day Cafe at least 20 times...no joke and every time it fills me with so much happiness. You can tell the workers here care and love about the cats so much. They always know their names, their little quirks, and their backstories. The drinks are also so delicious! This cafe is such a great way for people to meet potential future pets and their adoption rates are so high!

Very cute cat cafe where you can sip an iced americano and pet kittens who are available for adoption. How does it realistically get better than that? Very nice staff and cuddly kittens :)

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I paid $30 to visit what was advertised as a cozy, welcoming cat café--what I actually walked into was a heartbreaking and infuriating situation. Several of the cats looked visibly ill. Some were so congested they were struggling to breathe. When I politely asked the staff if the cats were receiving any kind of veterinary care or medication before being adopted, I was met with hostility and denial. One staff member actually told me the cats "aren't sick" and that it would be the adopter's responsibility to medicate them. That's not only dishonest, it's cruel. On top of the poor animal welfare, the staff were unbelievably rude. Rather than showing care or compassion, they acted like my concerns were the problem--not the fact that cats in their care were suffering. This is not how rescue or adoption should ever work. It's unethical to charge people to sit in a room with visibly sick animals, misrepresent their health, and then push the responsibility onto adopters. If you care about cats, please do not support this place. There are countless legitimate rescues and shelters that actually care for the animals before sending them home.

OMG I'm coming back here as much as I can from now on!! Both the cats and the ambience were so cute! As well the workers were so sweet when I had a question and they were ready to help! You can just feel the love they have for the cats! The drinks were good and my Ragdol scone was so soft!! This place is amazing and is doing the lords work!

What a wonderful place! We didn't plan well and got there about half an hour before they closed. But the lovely employees still let us in to play with the kitties. The kitty room was impeccably clean which is saying a lot considering it was full of kittens! The employees were also super friendly, answering our questions and giving us literature and info on their business, schedule, wishlist, etc. When I'm back in the area I will definitely come back at an earlier time!

To have a place where one gets to enjoy kittens that are willing to engage with you is very rare! So many cat cafes overwork kittens to the point that when I visit them, the kittens would be completely aloof and just not interested in human interaction. This tells me that the kittens here are taken care of very well, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! 50 minutes felt just right. Not too long and not too short. The staff was very friendly as well and gave us instructions and had very wholesome attitudes. I kind of wished that I purchased a drink, though, but we did have to catch a bus to leave for the airport. Regardless, 5 stars!

So cute and so fun. Went in with my 5 yr old. The cats were so sweet, we will definitely be back and suggest to others.

Amazing place with great staff. I adopted my kitten from here! I highly recommend this place!

This is a tough review because I really adore this place and the concept but there's certainly room for improvement. The environment for the kitties is nice with plenty of food, litter boxes and places to nap. While there are some signs posted with rules it was a bit surprising to see the lack of any kind of supervisor or associate enforcing the rules. Looking at the hours of operation it seems the kitties have zero down time during business hours which makes it hard for them to get the rest they need. This place has done a tremendous job in finding homes for kitties but this also means a lot of new cats coming in at an alarming rate. If one cat gets sick the risk of spreading to the rest of the cats is very high. My wife and I ended up adopting one of the cats during our visit and the adoption was a bit unusual. We asked some questions and got very vague answers. We were told to come back the following day to complete the adoption and pick up our new kitty. We ended up asking the same questions and getting different answers. We couldn't seem to get details on where the cat came from and when they were fixed. They had their age as 1 year and 6 months. We took him to our Vet a few days after adoption where they said he was maybe 8 months old, nowhere near a year and a half. The vet was astounded at the lack of details regarding the health history from the adoption papers.unfortunately we found out from our Vet that he had worms and fleas along with a bacterial infection. Makes you wonder how many of those other cats had the same thing. I'm hopeful that Purrfect Day can tweak a few things and make this a truly remarkable place to spend some time with cats which may lead to even more adoptions. The cafe itself has some delicious drinks and snacks which are worth stopping by for on their own.

A wonderful stop near Cincinnati! Purrfect for young and old cat lovers! They have a variety of hot and cold beverages and baked goods. You can take your beverage in with you see pet the cats. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cat area and all of the cats looked very well cared for. All are adoptable (they partner with area rescue organizations). They had a staff member available to answer any questions about the cars and to keep everyone (cats and people) safe. We will definitely be bringing visitors back and if we decide we are ready to add another four legged family member we will definitely stop by! Keep up the great work!

Having this makes the transition from the shelter to home go so much better. We worked with Jean who is amazing! Thank you so much for your concern, the details you provided and your honesty. They were asking the community to step up for dogs stuck in the shelter, and we were happy to help. When we arrived, we waited over two hours because there were so many people there. I didn't mind the wait -- it actually made me happy to see so many dogs going home. Eventually, we were given a dog named Ace. We were told he had some minor tremors and visual deficits, but no one explained why or gave us any real medical history. He was on medications, which didn't concern me because I'm an experienced ER nurse and comfortable administering meds. I initially agreed to foster him for one week to help during the storm, but after seeing how sweet, calm, and loving he was, we decided to continue fostering him until he found either another foster takeover or, hopefully, his forever family. However, as soon as we got him home, it was obvious he was sick. He was coughing, sneezing, wheezing, and had nasal discharge. I reached out multiple times to the foster team. It took a few days to get a response, which I tried to be understanding about given the snowstorm. When they did respond, they asked for a video and then told me to come pick up antibiotics from the clinic. No one physically evaluated him. No exam. No in-person assessment. But I wanted him to feel better, so I picked up the antibiotics and started them that evening. Thankfully, he began improving and adjusted well to our home and resident dogs. We were initially told he was dog and cat friendly -- he was absolutely NOT cat friendly. Fortunately, we were able to safely separate them. Over the next few weeks, we fully embraced him as part of our family. We bought him a new collar, harness, toys, and special food. We gave him structure, warmth, love, and consistency. We had no intention of taking him back to the shelter -- we planned to continue fostering him until he found the perfect home. Then everything changed. One night, Ace suddenly began vomiting and then experienced a prolonged grand mal seizure that lasted several minutes. We called the emergency foster line over nine times. Each time, we were routed to an automated message saying to call back if it was an emergency. Eventually, I received a text telling me to call again if it was truly urgent. When I finally reached the foster manager, I explained that Ace was still unresponsive, drooling, and not returning to baseline. As an ER nurse, I know what a medical emergency looks like. This was one. I was told it was NOT an emergency and to bring him into the clinic the next morning. I repeatedly explained that he was still altered and actively symptomatic. I also explained that I had to be at work at 6 AM, had no way to transport him in the morning, and could not safely monitor him overnight while he was crated and then left alone once I went to work. I even called both my regular veterinarian and the emergency vet -- both told me he needed to be seen immediately. Despite this, the foster manager continued to say that if I chose to take him to the emergency vet, I would be financially responsible. This back-and-forth went on for nearly an hour while Ace was still in a compromised state. They finally agreed to allow us to take him to the emergency vet "for observation," stating they would pick him up in the morning, call us with an update, and that we could bring him home afterward. We rushed him to the emergency vet. The staff there reassured us we absolutely made the correct decision. They wanted a full history and asked us to stay while they stabilized him, which we gladly did. We didn't leave until almost 2 AM -- four hours before I had to be at work -- but Ace's well-being was worth it. The next day, we heard nothing. I texted the foster manager twice with no response. When we finally called, we were told Ace was "fine," but that they felt we "weren't fit to be fosters" because we went against their advice -- which they claimed was in Ace's best interest. We were told we would never see him again and that if we ever wanted to foster in the future, we would need to schedule a sit-down meeting to review expectations. I was stunned. We opened our home during a crisis. We medicated him daily. We advocated for him when he was sick -- twice. We stayed at the ER until 2 AM to ensure he was stable. And somehow we were the problem? The reality is this: this decision was NOT about Ace's best interest. It felt like it was about avoiding an emergency vet bill. Communication was poor from the beginning. We were not given complete medical information. Our concerns were minimized. We were initially denied emergency care during an active seizure. We were promised updates and the opportunity to bring him home -- and that did not happen. If you're looking to foster, I would completely AVOID this place.

I ran into a situation where I needed some work done at my home, and I could not continue to foster the FOURTEEN foster pets that I had through them at the time. Rather than work with me, help me, and have empathy for my situation, I experienced a lot of pushback, and negative reactions to needing a break from fostering. My phone calls and texts were not being returned. When they were returned, I was met with attitude and a complete lack of understanding or compassion. After much resistance, they finally took the fosters back. They don't supply their fosters with food or supplies as they claim. Not once was I given any supplies for the dozens of animals that I fostered through them, even when I expressed that the puppies I was fostering were going through more food than I could manage. They also don't spay and neuter most of their animals before adoption. Now that I am back in my home, neither Regan, nor Jaime, (the founders of PORT), will return my messages asking about the well-being of my former fosters. If you bend over and break your back for them, you'll be great. But God forbid life happens and you find yourself unable to help, because you then mean NOTHING to them. Proceed with caution should you decide to do any sort of business with PORT. Don't expect a lot of help. Definitely don't expect compassion and empathy when life happens. Edit in response to PORT's reply: Port requires a minimum of 5 days notice for return, except in cases of emergency. I had an emergency. I explained this to you guys over and over and over again and your response was, "that must be tough." I had a dog through you that was being aggressive with a child. But you guys didn't consider a threat to someone's safety an emergency and were of no help. In some cases, I waited more than 5 days for you to help; I waited literally weeks! Not to mention that that dog was pregnant, and when I took her, you never advised me that that was a possibility. So I ended up with eight puppies, when I agreed to one. It was never "clear to you" that our foster relationship had come to its conclusion and that I wished to step away. I quite literally told you that once I was back in my home, I would take the animals back if they still needed placement. I notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the puppies. You did not take them until July 18th, and that was only after I showed up to get their shots and microchips, and had to PLEAD with you to help me. I notified both of you that Rusty was a safety risk, and you literally did not care. Even after notifying you of the unsafe circumstances, it took you two days to take her, and that was only after I refused to give you any more leeway. That was also after I had notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the animals that I had. You did not take Rusty back until July 31st. I let you know on July 28th that I was having trouble getting the kittens adopted. I notified you on August 4th that we needed to move the kittens. You did not take them until August 15th. As for the spay/neuter, it's irresponsible for a rescue not to spay and neuter before adoption, regardless of any contract. I also asked, several times, about getting my fosters fixed, and you never followed through. Don't gaslight me. You did enough of that when I was actually fostering with you.
