Syd was super nice and chatted with me about books. I also was able to determine a summer drink I'd want to try (Coconut Cortado) which was really delicious! This place is super chill even if parking can be difficult. Definitely try the E 3rd Street. read more

Roebling Books & Coffee - Iced Cortado with Coconut - Bookstores Near Me - Covington, Kentucky

Delicious Pumpkin Chai Latte with a cute little bookstore where I found too many things I wanted to buy but couldn't at the time. I will be keeping this place in mind to buy books online to support them. They had a Ranma 1/2 Manga I never see in stores near me and when I looked online they had a lot more. I hate when bookstores like this go unnoticed. I only browsed a little while waiting for my drink because I was on my way to a convention Powercon/Motufest within walking distance. If I'm ever in the area again (this convention keeps moving locations) I will be sure to be more adventurous with their more unique drinks. My daughter recommended one when I shared the menu with her and I chickened out because I needed coffee! Lol Be adventurous and grab a book to continue your adventures in your head at home! read more

Staff have nice vibes, even early in the morning. Busted while in town two years in a row. It felt really ideal to purchase a book and coffee together. Thankyou. read more

In town for a work event and must always try an independent bookstore when I visit somewhere new. Roebling did not disappoint. Quaint, cozy, and well-stocked. The drink bar was a pleasant surprise and I had a very yummy Iced Roebling Fog (like a London Fog but with a little sass). Love the physical space and the cafe space in the back with tables was an added bonus. Though small, the inventory was thoughtful and I found far too many things to choose from. The staff selections were on point and I found a few new items to add to my "to read" list. Absolutely worth a visit and I look forward to checking out the other location next time I am in town. read more

Roebling Books & Coffee has three locations in Kentucky, Newport, Covington, and Dayton. We stopped by the Covington shop after a stroll through the area for some coffee and a chance to browse their wide selection of books. We tried the Carrot Cake latte from the seasonal menu and kept it classic with an iced white mocha, both of which were yummy. It's a great spot to grab a drink, unwind, and explore. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Very cute little bookshop coffee shop. I haven't been to any other locations, but this one has a great selection of new and popular books as well as some classics. The coffee is delicious and staff are super quick. Not a ton of seating options to hang out but it's great for a quick stop to grab a book and some coffee! read more

the place had a great, old bookstore vibe, but the young lady taking my coffee order harshly critiqued my choice while a friend of the employees was recounting a fellow co-worker's experience of rape in his workplace (apparently somewhere else) and how she used that for grounds to be promoted, complete with every f bomb that seemed logical to him to add to his narrative. the vibe was ugly and loud for an otherwise quaint bookstore. ultimately, we left without buying the several books we went there to get, and bought them at a different store elsewhere. shame. read more

I absolutely love this place. Great coffee and great staff. This is a safe space for all who aren't hateful. There's plenty of other coffee shops to choose from if you get upset about a little sticker or something that doesn't align with your political beliefs. read more

As I am not a fan of hotel coffee so I ventured a short walk to this coffee shop/book store. Service was polite and the coffee was hot and flavorful. Granted there wasn't a lot of places to sit but I managed to get a comfortable seat surrounded by books. The Cincinnati area does have a number of good local coffee shops and this one was close to our hotel. You are also close to the Roebling Bridge if you care to check it out. read more

Wonderful independent bookstore with a fantastic coffee shop and lots of cozy nooks for sitting and enjoying a read and a warm drink on a cold day. Dog friendly, too! Love that they carry a large selection of local authors in addition to new releases and lots, lots more. read more

Casual morning stroll through the riverfront area led me to Roebling Point Books & Coffee. A vintage style coffee shop, dripping in literature Roebling permeates a cozy essence! The brick exterior is replaced on the interior by wooden shelves with a variety of reads. Hella black books too might I say! The coffee, banging! Medium roast house blend was bold, yet not overpowering. Reasonably priced for a 16oz. Everything about Roebling Point says stop by if ever in the area. #NoPlaceLikeHomeKY read more

Great coffee in a bookstore with areas to sit or just to lose yourself in book shopping. Love it.

This place is adorable and has great coffee. While it is an extensive book store, it is also an amazing coffee shop. I got the Redlegs Latte, and the raspberry really came through. It was super flavorful. Another interesting option they had was A turmeric Latte, I may try that next time. Workers were super nice, and the coffee was quality. Get a drink, then walk the Robeling. A perfect morning! read more

Every time a friend visits me in Cincinnati, this café is at the top of my list. It's the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem but deserves all the love. The coffee is consistently excellent, the pastries are always fresh and delicious, and the curated book selection adds a cozy, thoughtful touch that makes it hard to leave. Whether you're catching up with someone or just need a quiet moment with a good cup and a good read, this place never disappoints. read more

OK ... you know when you're watching an indie movie and the manic pixie dream girl meets the artsy, endlessly interesting boy in the coffee shop/bookstore? THIS is that place ... and stepping inside this unassuming little shop makes you feel like the main character. Roebling Point Books & Coffee is *cool* ... in the most welcoming way possible. There's so many interesting things to look at ... so many books to browse ... all while you're sipping your artfully prepared coffee beverage. My fiancé and I wandered in for something warm one chilly morning on our way to the Covington Farmers Market ... and ended up spending almost 45 minutes just experiencing what this shop has to offer. Since then, we've turned our visits into somewhat of a tradition ... we just can't get enough of this cozy coffee shop. One of the best parts about this shop is how small it looks from the outside ... and how you'll get lost in the seemingly endless rooms of books once you're inside. You truly could spend hours here ... and some folks do, as there are tables and comfy chairs set up for reading, studying and the like. Take a Saturday morning and experience Roebling Point for yourself. read more

Nice coffee drinks. Good cookies. I'm trying to get out of here without buying any books - they have a seriously great selection.

I've stopped in here two times now and I already see it becoming one of my new safe spaces. This is a bookstore, knickknack shop, and coffee shop combined. I came in and ordered a hot latte, which comes in two sizes, with oat milk. I carried it around as I perused the book options, which ranged from local authors to graphic novels to hiking and biking guides. There are multiple rooms with comfortable couch seating and a table perfect for setting up work or a board game with friends. They also have a used book section with lots of gems that are all under $5 each. They have a lot of local knickknacks and souvenirs of the Covington area. I look forward to my next visit to this cozy spot away from busy life. read more

This place was soooo cute! I love to find local coffee shops when I go out of town and this one was perfect. I wish I had more time in the city to sit down and read a book, sadly I was just grabbing a quick coffee before getting on the road. They had a few little rooms filled with books and places to sit. Not to mention the coffee was really good. They had giant oreos and those were also so good. Make it a point to stop here if you are in the area! read more

100% would return. The lady working behind the counter was extremely friendly and had great recommendations for us. The chai latte she recommended for me was delicioussssss. Also, the place itself is just so cozy and relaxing. There's sooo many books in the place. Considering how it looks like from the outside, you'd never realize what this place could look like inside. I regret not getting a book from here honestly or even a shirt. Anyways, would love to come back here the next time I'm in the Cincinnati area. Thank you for the hospitality. read more

Staff was terrible, feel sorry for the business owner. Wasn't greeted when walked in and waited forever to get checked out, everyone seemed very judgmental. Their conversation about hating men seemed to be the most important thing going on. It was honestly comical how bad the employees are here. My girlfriend and I love supporting places like this but experiences like today make it regrettable we were so excited to check this place out. Don't recommend. read more

This little place is awesome! It's located in an old house-converted-coffee shop-hangout. Popped in on a Saturday morning and it was bustling with people. The coffee itself was very good and prices were super reasonable (most under $3). The service was fast, especially since there was only one employee making all the orders. They also have books for sale of all types. From local hiking guides, to bird manuals, to fiction and non-fiction and young adult books, there is a book to suite everyone. They also have comfy seating on the inside and a few tables outside if the weather is nice. Definitely glad I got to check it out! read more

Cute, vintage bookstore! I've walked past it before but had never gone in. My friends and I came after lunch at The Gruff across the street and decided to get some coffee. It was still early afternoon. For a Thursday, it wasn't all that busy at the coffee counter although there were more people sitting over by the books. There are multiple rooms. They've got couches and tables. Not a ton of space to study or to chat. It's a place where you'd have to stay quiet in order to respect readers. We were talking in one of the rooms and one elderly dude kept looking over at us. Oops! I saw mostly folks my grandparents age. Not sure why? My friend mentioned those are usually the type of people here. LOL. Maybe millennials just grab coffee and then walk around and browse instead of sitting longer? Anyway, the girl at the register was young like us. She was super nice and didn't get stressed making all of our orders. Cheap prices though! I got a medium roast 12 oz with almond milk for $2.50! I'm so used to paying almost $5 for a coffee so this was quite refreshing! Really good coffee! My friends got a cappuccino and a gingerbread latte! They loved it!! They've got soy milk, so no worries if you've got issues with lactose! Loved the music selection they were playing! Lots of great alternative. The vibe is less coffee shop and reminds me more of a library. It's cute! You can smell the old books! But they decorated the place to make you feel comfortable so I don't mind coming back again to browse again and order a coffee! I'll be much more quiet next time! read more

I am obsessed with this hidden gem in the NKY area! I got a gift card to Roebling Point Books & Coffee as a housewarming gift when I moved to the area, so I was able to ride my bicycle to the shop and explore the books they had to offer. The rooms full of books to the ceiling just kept on going! I was so impressed by the selection and how well they were organized. I was able to sit inside and enjoy my coffee while perusing the book selection and people watching. The coffee was appropriately priced and they had other pastries available as well. The outdoor seating was quaint and had a nice breeze in the shade to escape from the summer sun. I am so excited to return and check out more items on the menu! Such a cool local place for people to gather! read more

I've never been in the shop, proper, because I first went during quarantine. That said, I love this bookstore and want to support it. Wonderful people work there. The building and exterior is darling, as evidenced by the chalk message boards. During quarantine, they are offering book delivery, on-line shoping using bookshop, and a walk-up window for coffee and other treats. We snagged some Highlander Grogg, which is like Christmas-in-a-bag, and it lifted our spirits. Shout out to Emily, who helped me over the phone and at the counter today. read more

Talk about a cozy getaway! Definitely an experience to pencil into your schedule. You're served with such warm staff, yummy drinks made with love, and an endearing space of wonder and comfy joys. Browse through your favorite genre of books or venture into a new genre. Sit back in one of the diverse seating options and enjoy your solitude, or bring some friends along to soak up this coffeeshop-meets-bookstore retreat. The only factor that brings me aback is the fact that since it is quite quaint, there aren't many seats available, but it's also part of the magic of the space. I look forward to visiting this lovely space. read more

I was surprised I had not penned a review of this lovely place. I have trouble resisting a book store and RBPC is a perfectly apportioned and quirky spot that I recommend for anyone and not only book lovers. There are non-book gifts for everyone, even the wee little ones. Oh, and the coffee! Not to be outdone by their massive collection of locally themed books and gifts, the coffee and drinks are really great. I've had several different kinds of their lattes, mochas, and coffee and they've all been delicious. Remember, books aren't thirsty so please don't spill your drinks on them ;) Fun (I believe) fact: Roebling (ya know the bridge guy) lived in this building during the suspension bridge construction. Double check me on that one.... my memories are hazy. read more

the vibes were incredible. Like being in a library, but a very relaxed library. The coffee shop was good, I will say that the dirty chai was not my favorite. I think the blend of tea had a lot of a spice that was a bit strange. That being said, potentially next time I should just try the chai on its own and see if flavor wise that fixes it. They have great book selections and very clearly are a happy community space. They also have lots of local authors and special categories specific to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. It felt so homey! The books were definitely pricier than what's in my Amazon cart, but at least I know that it's going towards a local business, and I try to do that when the budget allows. The one thing that could potentially make it better, is if they had more places to sit down, although it's a small location so they definitely have what they can. Will be back! read more

My first coffee shop in Kentucky, and it was so pleasant to visit, good chai latte and nice staff! I picked up a book while waiting and will read it on my travels. They are not pretentious like a lot of book/coffee shops are (to the point where you may not want to shop for books or get coffee there) at all. The neighborhood has a relaxing and safe vibe to it, too! Exceeded my expectations! read more

Roebling Books & Coffee - My new book - Bookstores Near Me - Covington, Kentucky

Good coffee and nice little coffee house if you are in the area. Needed a little more of a selection of breakfast food.

Roebling Point Books and Coffee is small and charming. The walls are lined with books and the shop smells like a library (you know... that smell you get when you open an old book). If I were rating Roebling Point solely as a book store, this would probably be a 4 star review. However, as a coffee shop, I think that this place could use some work. The product: I ordered an iced chai latte and the quiche that they had available the day I went. My whole bill was under $10, which I thought was great value. The iced chai latte was great and exactly what I expected. The quiche... well, the quiche left something to be desired. The quiche was heated behind the counter (I believe in a microwave). When the quiche was handed to me it was sitting in a small pool of egg-water, which already turned me off. If you're visiting, I would recommend sticking with whatever bakery items the shop has available. The atmosphere: If you're here to look for/at books, this place is great. If you're here to work... good luck. There's not a lot of seating here, at least not a lot seating that's conducive to getting work done. After someone left, I was able to snag a table to work at. Then, I had the sudden realization that this place was eerily quiet. There was no music and it felt like I was in the library. I don't know about you, but need some level of music/background noise when I work. I think some quiet background music would help. All in all, Roebling is cute and charming and I would definitely swing by if I was in the area to grab a coffee, but I don't think I would stick around to work or hang out/order food. read more

This is a cute little coffee/book store we happened to come across when we walked across the bridge from Ohio. The outdoor/sidewalk tables have plenty of shade in the morning. The bookstore itself is very cute. The genres of the books are nicely labeled. There are a few seats if you would like to sit down inside the store. They also have a small private room available to rent. The barista was very friendly. I asked for a ginger peach iced tea (delicious!) even though that flavor wasn't listed on today's menu. She gladly made it for me after saying she would have to seep it first so it would be a few extra minutes. Definitely check it out if you're in the area! read more
