We ordered a 3 piggy pancakes for the kids. Also ordered 2 scrambled eggs but did not receive. I ordered the southwest avocado omelet with diner rolls. The omelet was decent but never received the dinner rolls, Asked later but still did not receive. Waitress did make a 2 cold brew drinks and was super friendly with the kids. Will be back. We stopped in on Father's Day for a to go order of sausage gravy and biscuits to take to brunch. We weren't sure what to expect on such a busy day, and found a spot in their parking lot easily even with it being very busy. They have a designated carry out entrance/area and it's set up to allow for food delivery services as well as walk-ins like us. We ordered without a line and waited a bit for our order. There was a little hiccup and we accidentally were charged just for gravy and not biscuits but the cashier caught it and fixed everything for us and it allowed me to add on a cup of hot coffee. We took the biscuits and gravy to brunch and, of course, it was a hit! I'd definitely recommend this as a quick and easy add on to a brunch gathering with family or friends. read more

Bob evans is the place to go if you want to be threatened by salmonella from undercooked chicken and by their staff! My family brought me home a chicken and bacon sandwich. Normally their chicken is dry as a bone but this one was fairly juicy. Juicy enough that I turned on brighter lights to see it better. That's when I saw it was raw. We called up there and was verbally threatened and insulted by the "manager". We went up to the restaurant and she locked the door before we could come in. I knocked and showed her the bag, she waved us away, refused refund or to even look at the chicken and called the police. She claimed to the police that my wife and I pulled out a knife through the locked door and threatened her. She refused refund saying they wouldn't do anything. Once I told the police I just wanted a refund and a proof of purchase ( she told us no originally over the phone because the register was locked) was quick to "refund the bill in gift cards, and was even more than the original purchase". The lady ended up giving us 5 dollars gift cards. Hopefully this Bob evans follows frisches model and gets out of here. The hash browns and sausage links were cold. But we have a microwave, and have so much going on, I wasn't about to complain about food being a little cold. Then I go to get a pancake for my first child and realize we have 2 things of whipped cream, but no butter, no syrup, no utensils, no napkins. I call and the supervisor asks me to come back and get the syrup... so the rest of my food can be cold? No thank you! So when she (Bri) thanked me for letting her know, I said, "it's really not okay to not give syrup for pancakes, when I spent $65 on this meal" she then offered to put me on hold to ask the gm if anything could be done, and I just declined. Food is good but they are the worst at orders to go. Every order is missing something. Today no toast. Last week no Cobb salad but the rest of the order was there. They send ketchup instead of syrup for pancakes. When I call they are so snotty and tell me it's door dashes fault. Stopped in for lunch after a morning of baseball. They are currently serving dine-in and are very conscientious to seat folks a significant distance from others. At least 3 other families were dining and each was seated at opposite ends of the restaurant. All employees were masked up and our server wore gloves. The meal to a little longer than usual but I guess that is to be expected considering everything that is going on. The food was on par for Bob Evans and I enjoyed my meal. I always like a good chicken and waffle combo and this one was surprisingly pretty good. The waffles themselves were a bit too cakey for my taste and got a little dry if not covered in syrup, but the chicken was spot on. Crisp, juicy, and perfectly complimented the syrup and waffles. The server was one of those kind of ladies that has the raspy voice and could probably whoop you in a fight so I was happy to peruse the menu and be served by her. Let's call her Rhonda (totally not her real name, but it sounds better) Rhonda was great and quick to refill my glass of water. She was also quick with our order. I had some breakfast items, eggs, biscuits and fruit. (Breakfast served all day FTW!) The price for two was very reasonable. I tipped Rhonda well for her great service. When I got there I was told they were out of pumpkin pie, this meal included one pie. You would think they would plan ahead for such things. Got maybe 4 or 5 tablespoons of the cranberry relish. Was amazed at the team work at this location from the manager to the they mostly female staff - they all were super friendly with each other even teasing each other which is delightful to experience (like family - isn't that the theme) - calling out to each other to support the other staff. Absolutely awful!!! On my birthday of course we came here for breakfast. I guess there was a new cook or something and the waiter was horrid. The sunshine skillet came out with watery gravy that was gross. I took two bites and couldn't eat it. Also the waiter completely forgot the side of French toast. I Complained and he took the sunshine skillet off the bill. I double checked and asked if the French roast was off the bill to because she didn't bring it out. This Bob Evans is very easy to get into and out of. I love their parking lot. We went early on a Saturday morning. I was surprised as we pulled into the parking lot as there were a lot of cars parked already and I thought we would have to wait. I was surprised again as we were seated immediately. It is bigger than it looks. Service was very good. The waitress was upbeat and attentive enough without becoming annoying. The food was good as is normal for all my Bob Evans visits. The wait on getting our order was slightly long, which seems to be typical of the chain. I suppose that it takes a little longer to make it good. All in all it was a perfect stop for breakfast. We ate at Bobs on North Bend Rd. The family ordered mostly breakfast for dinner and an order of chicken. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken. We asked for our rolls prior to dinner. After our order was taken, the waitress was MIA with our food sitting ready. When she finally returned from break, outside, ? She brought our orders. She forgot several items but when we reminded her, she got them. The breakfast items were good but the chicken was a very small portion. This location is always convenient and easy to get to. The service is always great and we get our food quick. This time I wasn't that pleased with my order. I ordered blueberry pancakes and a side of ham (a favorite of mine). Half of my pancakes did not contain any blueberries. They were at the bottom of the stack, I felt as if they were trying to sneak this by me. I asked our server to get new ones. My second round of pancakes finally came, this time with a sprinkle of berries directly in the center of the pancakes. One bite and they quickly became berry-free. I meet my father at Bob Evans for breakfast about once a month. The thing I don't understand is how they seat people. If there is a party of 6 waiting and a party of 2 comes in behind them, they will not seat the part of 2 until the party of 6 is seated. Therefore, if there is a small table for 2 available and sitting empty, they will allow it to sit empty and the make the 2 people wait until they seat the party of 6. I don't get it. Went there for breakfast expecting a good meal and good service as usual this Sunday morning I saw the featured item of Pot Roast Hash. Man o man did the picture and description sound good. It is supposed to be hash browns with pot roast with two eggs on top. It is priced just over nine dollars. When it came out it looked a little on the small side but delicious. The problem was there was no pot roast in the dish. I don't mean literally none maybe an ounce or less. With pot roast being the first item listed in the name of the dish I just expected more than a single bite. What I ate was hash browns with two eggs on top. I can not get enough of the broasted chicken. Perfectly cooked with a tender white meat inside and a crispy fried outer skin. Plus the sides that come with it are awesome. I go for the coleslaw and mac n' cheese. The green beans are also a safe bet as well. I always end the meal with a piping hot cup of coffee. Came here last week with family. We had James and he was great. Halfway home to Indianapolis, I realized I forgot my purse. I called and spoke with Patrick, a manager, and explained the predicament I was in. He had dropped off my purse st Fedex to be shipped to my address within an hour! And he even paid for the shipping!! It arrived a few days later on the day he said it would be there with nothing missing. I'm forever grateful for his courteousness. What a great a guy!!
