Really great classic dinner menu options with unreal prices! So affordable. The service was great, definitely a local joint with lots of regulars.

A great hole in the wall at the border of Lockland and Reading. This small family owned restaurant has the home town feel. Since one server was out, service was slow until more help arrived. Then it was acceptable. It is clean. The setting style was outdated. The coffee was top notch. You can't go wrong with pancakes. The fresh strawberries made it better. My wife's poached eggs were not done right. She wanted them hard, but they were more easy and runny. I liked the place.

8:35am Started off with a great communication as we were met very swiftly by the server Ashley. I asked her opinion of the menu I was given a very direct and honest opinion which was very well needed. 8:45am I ordered special #1 (2 eggs, home fries, 1/2 order biscuits and gravy). My company ordered special #4 ( 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and 2 pancakes) the prices are very reasonable the surroundings are very quiet with the news playing above the Expo area. It's very clean, neat and put together 8:54am food came out faster than expected and beautifully plated. The cook did a very good job of cooking it to the temperature we asked for and plating it. It wasn't until I began eating that I realized that I hadn't even begun to drink my drink the food came out so fast 9:08am The food was good. Very well prepared and met all of the standards where you eat it with your eyes before you see it. Then I can smell it and then it tasted great so it met all three points. Our server Ashley was very attentive to everything and I would definitely recommend trying this place

Restaurant is very welcoming. Staff is nice. Food was good. I ordered the scrambled egg and hash with toast. Definitely will be coming back.

Bridge House in Reading, Ohio. Sit in booth, at table, or at counter. Bright and spacious inside.

This place is like Cheers...the waitresses know all the regulars by name! My 88 y/o dad used to come here frequently but hasn't been in awhile and they were so happy to see him! Made my heart warm. Nicole was our server and she took great care of us, even stopping by a few times to chat with my dad. Iconic restaurant it's very spacious and light on the inside where you can sit in a booth, at a table, or at the counter (how fun would that be). M-F menu boasts a large variety of breakfast entrees, sandwiches and salads. Sat/Sun it's breakfast only. Every day there is a special. I had an omelette with ham, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, green pepper, mushrooms and cheese. Get the home fries...they're potato cubes made in house and tossed on the griddle. My dad had the French toast...6 pieces, very fluffy. Nice place to stop in, has their own parking lot too.

Tried the bridge house for breakfast. It was a neat old location and cozy vibe. The service was great, but unfortunately the food was just ok with small portions. Will eventually venture back to give it another shot but wasn't impressed with the first round. The tenders also came with a small order of fries not pictured.

We love coming here for breakfast. Quaint little diner under the bridge, literally. Always solid food and service. Omelet, pancakes, eggs, goetta, toast and coffee are good. Much preferred to expensive 'boutique' establishments.

    Cross the bridge!

Food was average quality and over priced. The bathroom situation is awful. One positive was the potatoes I ordered.

The food and service were amazing. The atmosphere was pretty chill and lowkey. This is a very underrated restaurant.

When my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by such a sweet staff who immediately welcomed us in, shared their thoughts on the menu (since we were first-timers), and suggested we leave a review (they were so lovely, so how could we not!) The entire restaurant feels like the diner Sam worked at in Cinderella Story from the early 2000s - very vintage, very retro, very 50s! It's what I imagine restaurants looking like when my grandparents went on dates when they were my age. I had gotten the tofu nugs via DoorDash, which were better IRL and the milkshake was scrumptious too! My friend got the Milkman Burger, fries, and a fruity pebbles shake. It was all great but let me tell ya...we had this meal almost two weeks ago and I'm STILL dreaming of those French fries. I have had so many iterations of fried potato before...shoestring, steak, wedges, sweet potato, those made from yuca, curly, dipped in ice cream, etc. and these are the best fries I've had in my life. If I could live off the fries, I would. They were that good. I already have plans to share this place with other friends of mine as it has officially worked its way into the rotation for me!

The place is bright and friendly with what appeared to be many regular patrons. Our server was nice and helpful. I ordered an omelette with a hotcake and he got two eggs over easy with goetta. Our meal came with toast too. We ordered rye and whole wheat. Candidly, the food didn't have any flavor. The potatoes were the most bland. My veggie omelette had large sliced vegetables inside vs smaller pieces. The huge hotcake was thick and I'm guessing that's the difference between a hotcake and a pancake. It was good but not great. Glad we stopped by. Atmosphere very nice, service was great. We won't return due to the food. Just not good, no flavor.

A couple notes I'd share with the restaurant: the entrée prices feel a bit high, and the gravy was unfortunately too thick and under-seasoned for our taste. I'd definitely give this place another try, but I wouldn't order the gravy again. They also missed one of our entrées, so my daughter didn't get her food until about 18 minutes after everyone else. The ambiance is cozy and no-frills, giving that classic local diner feel. The service was extremely friendly, and you can tell they have a solid base of regulars who enjoy eating here.
