Well this was my first visit to the restaurant being a resident on the Westside for over 40 years I wasn't really impressed with the breakfast. I got eggs over medium and they're well done one pancake and one sausage with a cup of coffee cost me $14. I could've went to Price Hill Chili got a full breakfast for seven bucks. read more

Beyond disappointed with our experience at First Watch this morning. First, our water carafe set empty for over 10 min while our server passed of several times. As the condisation melted away, we saw bits of food (possibly pulp,) inside. We asked another employee to get the manager, since our server was still ignoring us. The manager didn't seem surprized, and took the carafe and said, "I'll see what's going on." The glasses with contaminated water still were left on the table. While the manager was gone, the server came out with our food, informed me my English muffin is on it's way, and asked if we needed anything else. We informed her the manager was helping us. We start eating the food. Average at best. A few bites in, my husband then finds a piece of plastic in his food. We have the manager come back out. She offers to comp our meal and make us something new. At this point we don't trust anything coming out of kitchen. We inform of this, and tell her we just went to leave. We also never got a replacement for the water. We will never go back. read more

I'm a huge First Watch fan but this location needs some work. The service is not the best and the food always comes out in shifts. If I am out with other people it would be nice to actually eat with them not 15 minutes before or after. The food is also very inconsistent. We brought this issue to the managers attention today and he said he didn't know why the food wasn't ready at the same time because we were one of the only groups in there at 2:30... Oh SO GOOD. I was happy to find a little slice of Portland in Cincinnati. Charming, cozy, hipster atmosphere paired with delicious food with tons of healthy, organic, and local options? Sign me up. My girlfriend and I were the third couple to be seated on a Sunday morning at 7:10. The table had salt spilled all over it but otherwise the dining room was clean. The waitress came fairly quickly and got our drink orders, coffee for her and ice tea for me. We had never been there before so we needed to see menus. My girlfriend is foreign born and raised and struggles reading English so I was translating for her. The waitress brought her coffee and a bottle of water but we weren't ready to order. We got figured out what we wanted and still waited another 15 minutes for the waitress to arrive. When she finally came back, she took our orders but the iced tea never arrived. The food took 20 minutes and the waitress did apologize blaming the kitchen for having a difficult time cooking the eggs. Breakfasts are supposed to be their specialty. When we were ready to leave, we pointed out that the tea was never served and the took it off the bill. The food was really good, and the waitress was nice if not perfectly competent. I would return but only if I have plenty of time and I would be more forceful with the server. They do fill up quickly so you might want to arrive early. read more

I'd say First Watch is a classic go-to for brunch with friends. I think Harrison is a great location - it's always very crowded on weekends and you typically have some sort of wait. I'd recommend downloading the NoWait app to try to jump the line a bit. The food at any First Watch is more gourmet than a traditional brunch. I wouldn't say it provides the healthiest of options - even some of their "Healthy" menu items have a lot of calories. I think their food is a bit overpriced, so I am not a frequent visitor. However, it's a no-brainer when going to breakfast with out of town visitors or catching up with girlfriends. read more

It comes out of the kitchen quickly and our server, Danielle, was very good. Of course, on a Sunday they are very busy and there can be a long wait. Terrible. I will not go back. I had breakfast at the Hyde Park and Downtown locations several times. Excellent. I assumed that this "New" First Watch location in Green Township would be equally awesome. NOT... Here are some observations from the service for two people: -Eggs Benedict were hard-boiled. -Over-Easy ordered eggs were hard boiled as the Eggs Benedict. Sent the eggs back and the second time; the same. -Sausage links ordered were undercooked and I was hesitant to eat them. Server indicated she wished she could do something about the cooks. But could not. Manager at check-out was very apologetic and removed the Sausage and Benedict from the bill. Will not return. read more

My kids love this place, so we were excited another one was open. After this experience, however, we will be going to another location. The host was rude and condescending to both customers and employees. I'm not sure if he was the manager, but seemed like it. Our waitress started out nice, but after we sent back eggs Benedict twice (once for overcooked poached eggs.. Like hard eggs and again for completely raw eggs) she became argumentative. I finally just didn't get anything. Husbands over easy eggs were hard as well. I don't know that the cooks understand how to cook an egg which is a shame in a brunch restaurant. read more
