The food came out pretty good and fast The waitress was quick and friendly. The place is a little loud and a bit of a long wait tho.

Floridian French Toast at First Watch!!!! perfectly fluffy with sweet banana, fresh berries, and just the right amount of richness. Definitely a brunch win

Me and hubby were in as a party of two this morning. We were able to get sat right away around 9am on a Saturday--lucky! The service was fast and friendly, the food was well-made, and the bathrooms were clean. I tried the shishito brisket hash off the seasonal menu. I got mine with scrambled egg whites. It was okay but I wouldn't get it again. There are items on the regular menu that I enjoy more. We learned something new about using bonus gift cards (you know the ones you get for free, like you buy a $50 gc and they give you an extra $10 one you can use at some set period in the future). It's all or nothing with those. Our total was around $34 and we had four $10 bonus cards. Well, apparently they cannot leave money on those cards. So we could not spend just a portion of it. We ended up using three of the cards and paying the remaining balance out of pocket. Otherwise we would have just given up the extra $6 on that last card.

I have been to First Watch many times, but I was highly impressed with the speed of service at this location. I was dining with a party of 6 at 9am on a Sunday, which I know tends to be a busy time for breakfast restaurants. I did the "get in line" option online and we were seated right away. Despite even taking time to look over the menu for a bit, we were eating less than 30 minutes later. The food was stunningly prepared too even with this quick turnaround. Every plate was delicious and looked like a work of art.

This place is consistently busy on weekends, but you can skip the wait by using their "get in line" feature on the website. It's a real time-saver and makes you feel like a VIP when you walk in. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Today, I enjoyed the Morning Market Omelet, which was delicious as always, with a perfect mix of veggies and goat cheese. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We love this location we frequented this location well before we had our daughter but once she was about six months we were there bi-weekly if not weekly so they've seen our sweet girl grow up! Fast forward to now she's two and they got her a cute little gift and made her a beautiful card. The service is amazing and the food is always delicious. We have zero complaints when coming to this location and will continue to go for years to come. I'll add more pics of food eventually!

Great breakfast/brunch here recently! Joined the waitlist online and this can save you time. Truly loved the seasonal cinnamon toast milk cocktail, could easily drink a few. Everything else we ordered came out quickly and tasted great. I always enjoy the million dollar bacon. I drop by first watch very randomly and on a whim, and plan to come by more!

This granola was the best I've ever had. I loved the vegan friendly options. The server was kind at first but she kind of got an attitude after someone at my table asked her to remake a dish, the waiter also forgot a few items such as the almost toast originally. Minor changes, no reason to stop going to first watch but it should be noted that the servers make a difference in the experience. Altogether, I think this is a great place for brunch with people you love. It's a noisy place, may not be suitable for a first date

The Brooklyn breakfast Sandy with potatoes

I've been to quite a few First Watch restaurants both in Ohio and in Florida and I have to say, they never disappoint and this recent visit to the First Watch on Madison Road was no exception. We had a party of two on a Saturday during lunch. I had the Brooklyn Breakfast Sandy which is on the seasonal menu. The sandwich has a nice amount of shaved pastrami with an egg over easy, caramelized onions, arugula in between two fresh, soft, sesame seed studded brioche buns. As soon as you cut in it, the yolk drips. It was a bit of a messy situation, but, it's the kind of messy that I like! The sandwich was so good that I may have to go get another one before it's off the menu:-) My friend got the Baja turkey burger which is a delicious go to when trying to stay healthy and enjoy life at the same time :-) The service was friendly. Derek was our server and he made some good suggestions. The Ambiance there is casual and family and friend oriented. I really enjoy breakfast at first watch!

This is the second First Watch I have been to. Glad to try another one and see what they had to offer. My friend had the Hacienda Hash, which I have to say was excellent. I'll talk more about that in a bit. I have the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict. It was good but I feel like it could have used more flavor. It was just missing something that could have given it a bit more zest. But it was still good. However my friend's Hacienda Hash was excellent! Full of good flavor, little bit of Zing, and definitely something that I wish I would have had instead. Our service was good and our waitress was very attentive. They were busy but things were moving smoothly. I appreciate how she came to check on us and make sure we were good to go. I feel like you could do pretty good by trying out some of their regular stuff. But when it comes to their specials, it can be a little bit uneven. That's just with my experience though one of their other locations. Overall a great visit and hope to come back and try some more things on their menu.

When you're forced to cook more at home (economy, dietary restrictions) fewer patronage to restaurants follow. We usually have fruit or a smoothie for a late breakfast but visiting First Watch was a treat this outing. I wanted to try the frittata and didn't realize it's really a fried scrambled egg of cheese and vegetables. It was ok. I like a fluffy omelet better but the efficiency of the wait and cook staff made this fun to get out and enjoy something different. They really move the customers in and out without feeling rushed. The vibrant energy of that just makes it enjoyable, to me.

The food is outstanding across the board--from the steaks to the cheese sticks--but the real star is their bread pudding. It's absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area. Parking is also easy and convenient, with a garage right across the street, as well as their own lot and additional street parking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and an even better experience.

They have a charming patio at the back of the interior space as well. I didn't realize they have their own lot, but in case it's full, there is plenty of street parking nearby. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and kept drink refills flowing. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese and the poutine for starters. The pretzel was huge and tasty. I didn't care for the beer cheese, probably because I was expecting a more solid cheese product. I would describe this more as a cream sauce. It didn't seem to have much cheese in it and was very 'liquidy'. Also the ramekin was only half full. If it had tasted better, I would have asked for more, but as it was not, we didn't even finish what was given. I thought it was a bit pricey at $12.95 for one large pretzel. On the other hand, the poutine was fantastic! A very unique take on the dish with a mix of cheese curds (although they reminded me more of pieces of mozzarella sticks), french fries and Andouille cream gravy. I ordered the fish tacos which consisted of Blackened Salmon, Thai Chili Sauce, Black Bean Corn Salsa, Pico de Gallo. My order came with two and they were fantastic! Since Blinkers is known for steaks, I will have to give them another try at dinner time.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

Going back and forth on stars for this one. Me and around 30 of my coworkers came into town for a…read moretwo day workshop and they got us a room block at this hotel. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.
