Seriously delicious. Cute place. Friendly service. The coffee and the millionaire bacon alone are worth going for. The waitress suggested the cold brew coffee instead of iced coffee and it was a wonderful suggestion. Little one had hot coffee- Also delicious. They have a decent amount of healthy breakfast and lunch options. I begrudgingly got the healthy turkey omelette while little one got pancakes because I'm trying to eat better but I was glad I did since it was actually good. Little one enjoyed the turkey sausage she got with her pancakes. The only thing we didn't love was their strawberry basil drink. It was just too sweet. I found this place interesting - I've been to First Watch restaurants that I assume are related in Phoenix, Arizona, where I'm from. We checked in on Yelp when we were a few miles away on Saturday to join the waitlist and probably waited a good 25 minutes for our table. We both ordered the breakfast tacos; Farmhouse Tacos I think they were called, and they were really quite good. The waitress seemed distracted, hardly making eye contact or waiting for a response before moving on, but it was a busy weekend morning. This restaurant is located in an anonymous looking dental building and while they did well piling on some charm on the inside with the decor, there isn't a lot to draw me back, unless I am craving those tacos. read more

Had never heard of this place before but since I was working in Chattanooga and needed to eat I thought I would give it a try based on reviews. I am so glad I did!! Had a hard time picking just one entree. Everything sounded so good! I have the stacked egg sandwich with avocado and it was AWESOME decided to try cheese grits for my side and that was another great decision. Was at this location yesterday- Terrible service, should be 0 stars. The response from all of my questions or requests to my server was "uh huh" with minimal effort to remember what I had ordered in the first place. Hostess and server were distracted at check out and I definitely didn't feel served in any way. The whole experience was noticeably unprofessional. This place is always my first choice but today I wish I would've spent my money somewhere else. The staff was rude. I ordered online and got my pick up time wrong so I don't mind to wait that's my bad at the pickup time I went in and it's still not ready again that's fine I don't mind to wait I asked an estimated time. The lady said "stand in the corner over there, it'll be ready when it's placed on the counter." A little agitated I did that's fine she could be having a bad day. Pickup time was 1:45 at 2:17 my order came. I don't really mind I have nowhere else to be once I get home it's all soggy and thrown in the box, a couple strawberries are rotted, and my egg is still raw the egg white is clear goo sliding around the box. Our timing was good and no waiting for a table. The coffee was super strong and the waitress suggested of the top using extra creamers. I got the baconado,which was cooked so the bottom of the eggs was very tough; to the point the fork edge wouldn't cut through the eggs. My eating partner got the chickichanga,which was by far the better of the two breakfasts. (We sampled each other's meals) The fruit cup was pineapple, honey dew and 3 grapes. Nothing special, but not terrible. The thick sliced Multigrain toast was slathered with cream cheese and came with a small cup of guava jam which was nice. We didn't realize this was a chain! We went to one in Orlando- the place is super cute and CRAZY BUSY!!!! The menu is the same. I had avocado toast and poached eggs- which I loved. The service here was much better than the location in Orlando! I would definitely return. read more

Artsy Fartsy food served in small portions. More hype than substance, the food is OK. Don't be put off by the constant pushing of salad and ask for the taters which are usually singed. Parking is a complete joke. This is EXPENSIVE food for relatively small portions. It pays to ask questions. When ordering milk they only serve colored water (1%) for instance. Hard uncomfortable seating with pretentious menu's. Really poor value for the money. read more

We stopped for breakfast while traveling through town on our way to Florida. Our waitress Carrie was so helpful and friendly! And the food, WOW! I had the Chickachanga which is whipped eggs with chicken , chilies, cheese and avocado wrapped in a tortilla with Vera Cruz sauce served with fresh fruit and potatoes. My husband tried the breakfast with biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with over medium eggs. Everything was amazing. Whoever was cooking knew what they were doing. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely try it for lunch or dinner someday. The only negative is that it is easy to miss because it looks like a doctors office building, so stay alert, you don't want to miss this place! read more

I've always loved First Watch. Their food is consistently good and you know what to expect when you find one. I've been to other locations for First Watch but this was my first time here since it is relatively new and stays pretty busy. Stopped in for a lunch the other day and it was really nice to catch a day with no wait or lines. The inside looks great as it's new and they have a couple tables outside which are dog friendly and in a nicely shaded area. The service is really prompt and they are very friendly. Their menu is great as covers the usual breakfast and lunch favorites and plenty of healthy options. I usually love the pancakes here but I ended up going for a something lighter and ordered half portions of the butternut squash soup and the chicken avocado chop salad. Both were perfect but the soup was absolutely amazing and had great flavor. It may not feel like fall yet, but definitely pop in and try the soup since it's seasonal. This place is a great option for breakfast and lunch and offers something for everyone. read more

Just happened upon this great restaurant! Service is spot on from being greeted at the door to paying at the counter! Our waitress was very helpful with the menu...we wanted to try everything. First watch is a national chain and being from out of state and recently moving to Chattanooga we thought we would come here for breakfast! First, it took forever for a waitress to even come to our table. Second, we told her what we would like to drink and she promptly took the menu from my hand and flipped it over to tell me about their juices instead of the water I ordered. We told her we were ready to order our food too,because we had been waiting, and I stated what I wanted. A bowl with Greek yogurt, fruit and granola. Well 2 items on their menu have these things and they are right next to each other. I mentioned which one I wanted and the manager was standing over the waitresses shoulder and corrected what I ordered saying "no she wants () instead." This is extremely unprofessional for him to do and he should have asked me for clarification not just assuming I wanted something other than what I ordered. The waitress seemed nice but all the staff is new and the owner/manager was micromanaging everyone and making it obvious by training rather loud around every table. Annoyed at the lack of professionalism and rude behavior by the manager. ***Edit: I watched him override what someone else ordered right behind us with a different waitress. I have no idea how he even considers this even remotely appropriate. Again without asking the guest. Also, the bowl he ordered for me apparently came with a side muffin and they didn't even ask what flavor I wanted so I didn't eat it. ***UPDATE: we returned with a gift card from the restaurant*** Food was good, which is a staple at First Watch, also the only reason we tried again. However, the service was just as bad, if not worse than the first time. There were 6 occupied tables in the restaurant so it was far from busy and a LOT of employees standing around. It took 8 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table to ask what we wanted to drink and it took an additional 10 minutes for that water to be delivered to our table. The manager, I'm assuming as he was in a black polo which no one else was wearing, walked right past us not acknowledging any guests or that we didn't have our drinks. Stopped in the Gunbarrel location after a doctors appointment. This is a great place to relax and have a wonderful meal. The food came out fast and was perfect. The highlight to the experience was our server, Angel. She was superb. Friendly, polite, helpful and so professional. I really like this place for breakfast. My two favorite dishes are the Farm Stand breakfast tacos and the carrot cake pancake. I love the thick whole grain toast as well. A word of warning, the biscuits and gravy are terrible!! The gravy was gray!! I did not care for the avocado toast, which I usually love. It had the makings of a great avocado toast: Thick, whole grain bread, a good amount of avocado. It was just lacking in flavor-very bland. It needs some seasonings. Tried this for the first time Saturday!! I love the wait time feature allowing you to know exactly where you are in the wait list. Restaurant was busy but great atmosphere! Staff was friendly and helpful- they were helpful when we told them it was our first visit :). Coffee was hot and smooth! I had the breakfast tacos- AMAZING!! My hubby had the BLT because he's not a big egg fan and always plays it safe somewhere new. His sandwich was great too- break was soft, and bacon was perfect- but!! I dined on a weekday with my mom for a surprise breakfast. We were seated promptly and courteously. Mom chose the Chorizo Chile and was impressed. The homemade pico was tasty and her omelet prepared perfectly. Her omelet was a hearty portion and fluffy! I chose the traditional eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was too thin and the item was topped with a excessive amount of chives. I brought this to the attention of the staff and the meal was remedied, I really appreciated that. My favorite are their Pancakes, they have flavors I have never had before coming to First Watch!!!! Carrot Cake pancakes!!!!! How Heavenly! OMG,,,,Banana Nut pancakes!!!!! And all you need is one!! It has your typical breakfast fare but it also offers some scrumptious omelettes, green/vegan options and a downright good pot of coffee to boot. I went there today to on a Sunday morning. There was no wait time at 910am but by 930am we can see people start to accumulate in the waiting area. We like the decor as it is relaxing and it has a large seating area that is more than perceived from the outside. I got the veggie I'm late and potatoes. The omelette was fluffy and the veggies contrast with the goat cheese was so tasty. The potatoes had a nice crisp and soft on the inside. My son liked the egg breakfast sandwich. He liked it. My daughter got the Florentine Benedict. As you will see in the picture it was not runny but the eggs where firm which is not correctly done for a Benedict. If that part was done correctly, I would have given 5 stars. We got add also2 pancakes, one chocolate chips and one banana granola pancake. These pancakes where full of flavor and the warm syrup was great!! Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent! We would definitely return!
