When this place was in construction I thought it was going to be a diet/ weight loss center. Whoops, well I was wrong. This place serves tasty food. I won't guarantee that you will loose weight eating here but I consider this a more 'healthy' version of ihop/denny's restaurants. I love the chicken pesto sandwich, the trifecta and the parma hash. They also sell their coffee if you want to take some home for yourself. read more

I always enjoy the food here. The French toast is great. The Bacado omelette. Ooh and the morning meditation juice is delicious. I usually go before work on weekdays. Today was my first time trying a weekend around brunch time. There was a considerable wait but they had a pretty smooth system of adding everyone to the list. I was particularly impressed with the man who seemed to be the manager. There were quite a few very rude and rowdy customers and he handled them with grace and gratitude. I know it's his job, but still, it is worth noting. You can't beat great food and great customer service. read more

Absolutely enjoyed everything about this place! Food, service and atmosphere were all great. My 6 yr old daughter ordered their chocolate chip multigrain pancake and ate all but three bites! My husband and I both had the Ragin Cajun omelette with egg whites and they were delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a healthy and delicious breakfast at a great price! read more

Came here for breakfast at 7am on a Saturday. They had just opened, and despite the early hour, the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was totally respectable. I saw some of the pancakes other folks ordered, and they looked delicious. Not sure when I'll be back in this area, but this place will be on my list. read more

I've been here twice. First time, I wasn't on yelp but had a bad experience.... Thanks to my sister's rave review of their coffee, I had to agree on another go. Well, it was a success. My chocolate chip pancake, cheesy grits and coffee were delicious! Yes, the wait time is a bit ridiculous but I have to say, it was worth it! Plus, Ross and Bob's are next door. Go window shopping if it's gonna be a while. Hope my future experiences are the same read more

Loved the fresh juices (morning meditation and kale tonic). The multigrain pancakes were the best I ever had. The veggie omelette was fresh and awesome. This place rocks for brunch. Since it is so popular, waiting for a table is normal and worth it! read more

So excited to have a weekend breakfast option that's open before 10 or 11 am! Service and food were both great - look forward to many future visits. read more

Easily the best breakfast in Fairfax and I know since I've tried every other option. I especially like the triathlete omelet which has egg whites, mushrooms spinach and salsa. Excellent omelet! Clearly this franchise has healthy and tasty options. Fruits are fresh as well. My only negatives are: coffee is nothing special, juices are not fresh squeezed and breads are not multigrain. I've found the service is very nice and good for the type of restaurant. Why would you ever go to disgusting IHOP or greasy diners? read more

Jay is my hero. I came here to pick up breakfast this morning and ordered on DoorDash for pickup. I get to the restaurant and I continue to go to the door and my name just isn't being called . About 40 minutes later I get a notification that my order was canceled by the restaurant even though I had already been there for more than half an hour . Jay (who was at the front door) told me I could order inside but I was already annoyed since my card had already been charged by DoorDash and I had already waited so long. Of course this is the morning after my boyfriend (Ex now) has stood me up the night before just to break up wirh me the next morning on my way to first watch. So unfortunately , I bursted into tears because nothing is going right and Jay takes my order, on the house and even gives me a free juice. I am beyond grateful to Jay and First Watch because you never know how your actions can touch someone's heart that really needs it . So thank you Jay and First Watch for just being amazing to me. Oh and of course as always, the food was splendid read more

Just opened so it might be a learning curve but the food was poor to ok at best. Ordered their special Parm hash... Cold glop of scrambled eggs on top of reheated hash that was luke warm. The plate was hot but the food was not. English muffins were not cooked. My guess, sat under the plate/food warmer for about 3-5 minutes since we ordered at the same time as the people around us and yet it came out much later. My husbands omelet was semi warm and had good flavor. Had high hopes since we love doing breakfast on weekends..... Maybe we will try again read more

Our service was great. I do not appreciate having to pay for "real maple syrup" when I order pancakes. I don't appreciate being "nickeled and dimed". For this reason alone I will not be going back. read more

Another checkmark on my culinary bucket list. This place does a lot of things right. The general feeling is open, airy, and bright. Seating is expansive and spread out which is good. Service was impeccable; friendly, prompt, and accurate. Leaving the water pitcher on the table was a great idea. I had the parma hash with eggs and a side of bacon. The eggs were poached to perfection and the bacon was crispy the way I like and ordered it. The hash itself was more laden with potatoes than I like; I wish it had much more meat but then again, that may just be my preference. I'd probably also ask next time to toast the english muffins a bit longer. There's not much else I can fault it for, but I came away thinking it could have been even better. Maybe it was just my food choice, so I think I'll try again and give the other entrees a chance to shine. read more

Yummy, fresh... love going to this place. Hardest part is choosing from the menu, so many good options. This place does close early, at 2 pm, I believe. And it does get busy so be prepared to wait for a table. read more

I absolutely love this place! My only complaint is that it isn't open all day! Fresh, yummy choices. Service is always on point. They have wifi so I great place to have a working lunch. read more

Returned here on a random Sunday and was very pleased. The service was prompt and the food was delicious (hooray for the avocado toast).

My favorite place for breakfast/brunch. Everything I've had has been delicious. My favs are the market hash and the lemon ricotta pancakes.

This is one of my favorites places for breakfast. Food is always good and service is always good. If you get there after nine on a Sunday morning you may have to wait since it's so popular. One complaint I have is that the $4 juices (which are very good) come in a glass filled with ice so there is not much juice. Next time I'll order with no ice. read more

I have eaten here 3 times and I have to say it is some of the best food I have ever tasted. There hasn't been one thing that I've tried that I didn't really like. My only complaint is that the wait staff seems to be quite young and inexperienced but very kind. Sometimes I have to wait for someone to ask me if I want to order other times I have been asked 3 or 4 times by three different people if I want to order. I will continue to come back because the food is amazing. read more

i have been waiting a while to experience first watch because i had heard a lot of great things about it. ....i actually purposely waited to write this review to see whether my feelings and opinion would change. it didnt. i give my visit a solid and sad 1 star. lets start with the good stuff. the place was, for the most part clean... except for the dry lipstick on my water glass. at our table: tomato avocado hash chickenchanga blueberry pancakes oatmeal toast coffee hot chocolate having gone on a saturday we fully expected a wait... we were surprised that the place was pretty calm and not that busy... but even still everything took forever...and i mean everything! 15 mins for our table 10 mins before anyone came to give us water, coffee, or greet us....we ordered right away 25 minutes for our food to come out... and as a bonus, everything was lukewarm almost room temperature. im so bummed that first watch fell short... i really wanted to love it and have it be my go-to breakfast place....but i dont think we will be going back. read more

This place is always busy and for good reason. The offer really health food options that are both high quality and inexpensive! I would definitely recommend this place for brunch on the weekends. They also have very satisfying juice drinks as well. read more

Enjoyed breakfast this morning with my husband. I had the Bacado omelet, which came with potatoes and an English muffin. The omelet was great and the potatoes were awesome. My only complaint was the English muffin wasn't toasted. The service was great. The restaurant wasn't very crowded (we went during the week around 10 am). Looking forward to going back. read more

truly the worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. it took 20 minutes for someone to greet us, and that's only after we spoke up. a server who wasn't even assigned to us had to take our order and two tables that were sat after us both got their drinks before us. our server was extremely inattentive and it took ab an hour to get our food, which wasn't even good at all. terrible service, bad food, extremely overhyped. never going back again. read more

We choose to eat brunch here on a Saturday morning, the wait was a little long (about 30-35 minutes) as it was quite crowded. They take your cell number and give you a warning text when it's close to your time to be seated. I found this very convenient because there are shops in the area where you can go to window shop and pass time. Once we were seated it didn't take long for our server to visit us. Orders were taken promptly and our food came out quickly. The portions were a good size, I had the pumpkin pancake breakfast which was delicious. I encourage anyone in the area to try this restaurant, although the wait may be long, the food and service is good and it's better than your average diner. read more

Great place, wonderful service. Variety of options and the prices are reasonable. When we went the restaurant was packed with only three hostesses serving which caused some delay, but the overall experience was great. read more

Food and service is wonderful! The Chantilly restaurant definitely needs a face lift compared to other First Watch restaurants, but food was still great! read more

went here for the first time a few weeks ago with the girlfriend. I got the chickichanga because it sounded so unique. It was very good! Not too spicy, pretty much exactly what I expected. I enjoyed everything I had (also got a chocolate chip pancake with the syrup). Girlfriend said her hash was a little burnt, but liked everything all together. Definitely a solid brunch option. read more

Great, affordable, healthy options! I absolutely love this place. The food options are great here and they always have seasonal specials which are nice. My favorite is the Trifecta.......a waffle, eggs, meat and it's only $8. The coffee is great here and I love how they give you pots to keep on your table. This is a great breakfast/brunch place that never gets old. read more

We're never disappointed when we go here for brunch. Great pancakes, awesome specials, omelets are made with such fresh ingredients. Price is great for quantity and quality. read more

Cane here for lunch with a friend the other day. The restaurant is clean and sparsely decorated. The service was ok. I had the trifecta with bacon, scrambled eggs, and a pecan pancake. All were good, but not special in any way. My friend had one of the hashes off the specials menu. She enjoyed it, but said it was a bit dry. I'll give this place another shot since it serves a decent breakfast a few minutes away from the office. read more

Fresh tasty delicious great combo of ingredients, they know what they are doing here.

Love this place. Great spot for breakfast/brunch. Food is always good and fresh, prices are decent, service is great, and ambience is just relaxing. Wish there were more of these in the area! read more

Thank you for Yelp! This was the best breakfast I have ever had. It was so good! The coffee was great too. I had the egg sandwich which was wonderful. I don't usually get sandwiches for breakfast but it was great. Highly recommend. I'm going here tomorrow before I leave. read more

I've been to the First Watch in Greenbriar Town Center a few times. The service and staff have always been outstanding. However, this time my server, Lily, welcomed me as if I had come to visit her home. I had been having a stressful day of Christmas shopping, but Lily's attitude and smile melted all the stress away. I was having a hard time deciding what to order and I asked Lily if the BLT Benedict was good. She smiled and said she had tried it and loved it. So I took her word and I ordered it. Lily was absolutely correct. Later, She asked if I liked it with a huge smile on her face, she knew it was good and was confident that I would like it. I told her it was awesome, and I wouldn't have thought it possible, but her smile got bigger. Lily made my visit enjoyable, and I certainly appreciated her kindness and cheerfulness. Because of Lily, and the BLT Benedict of course, I will recommend First Watch to all my friends and family. Thank you Lily! You certainly put a smile back into my day. read more

First Watch - The Monterey Club. So big I couldn't even finish half. :) - American Near Me - Chantilly, Virginia

This is my second or third time at this location. It's a great breakfast spot and the prices are reasonable. Just make sure you get here not during peak hours cause the wait can be excruciating. read more

Great idea, terribly executed. I love breakfast any time of the day, so great idea. The menu looks great and the prices are reasonable. But the management of this location needs attention. At 1pm many tables needed bussing. The table I was seated at hadn't been wiped off. When requested, a dry napkin was used. I saw the bus person wipe multiple other tables with a single cloth then touch 'clean' cup and glass rims with his hands. The spoon I was served smelled of maple syrup but I had none on my order. The fresh fruit crepe was cold, doughy, and the all the fruit except banana was not ripe and tasteless. The muffin was cold and damp. The guests at the table next to me were seated before me and as I was leaving, they still hadn't gotten their order. I wish it were better, because I love breakfast! read more

Was at the Greenbriar location for the first time yesterday and the experience was HORRIBLE. Guy who brought food rolled his eyes at me when I asked for something. So RUDE. Food was the WORST. Ordered a reuben sandwich and soup. The sandwich was SOGGY, about 3 slices of meat, no thousand island dressing and NO TASTE. WILL NOT WASTE OUR MONEY THERE EVER AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY, read more

Delicious and clean breakfast spot. The food was fresh and exactly as advertised in their menu. The only complaint I have is they brought out our meals separately about 10 minutes apart. Out waitress was incredibly friendly and was always refilling our coffee and water. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a simple breakfast spot read more

One of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch! I have enjoyed every meal and the service has always been great!

I've come to First Watch before with co-workers and was super impressed! My parents were in town and I wanted to share with them and support a local business instead of a chain restaurant. I was embarrassed by our service. I had told them how amazing the restaurant was, and I could not believe how bad our experience was... 1. It took forever to just get our drinks - water and decaf coffee - seriously? 2. Our server made us pour our own water and coffee - and we SAW HIM POUR IT FOR OTHERS HE WAS SERVING - ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? 3. I ordered a large fruit bowl and was served inedible fruit - the pineapple included large chunks from the center tough core of the fruit and the watermelon was practically white from so much of the rind being included on it. 4. They served a large portion of toast and provided 2 teaspoons of jelly - my daddy had to request jelly 4 TIMES and they gave it to him 2 teaspoons at the time!!!!! AND HE HAD TO WAIT FOR IT A RIDICULOUSLY LONG AMOUNT OF TIME AND OUR SERVER DIDN'T EVEN BRING IT TO OUR TABLE!!!!!!! 5. My mommy told the cashier about our experience and she was kind enough to apologize and take $5 off of our meal... When I come to a restaurant - my expectation is that the server will be pleasant - not pleasant ENOUGH. That the server will be considerate of our needs. And if I see you actually serving others, be consistent. My only tip is that management train their staff on HOW TO SERVE. I don't expect anything ridiculously grand, but daggonit, I had hoped to have a good experience with my parents. And I did not. The Belgian waffle was amazing. The omelet was below average lacking flavor and just blah. I will NEVER be back. But as a person that supports small businesses, please take note of how much service impacts a customer that has THOUSANDS of choices of where to eat. read more
