    Watermelon Wake-Up spiked

We dined here for brunch and this place never ceases to amaze. Every time I eat here there is always something new on the menu. Today I tried the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast bowl and a spiked watermelon wake up juice. It was divine and the service was amazing. Although there isn't much in terms of ambiance , the restaurant is always lively and you're never disappointed. I'd recommend this spot 1001 times. I can't wait to go back b

I was craving a waffle and this First Watch makes the BEST ones. Their waffles are light and crispy on the edges but so soft inside. Today was no different. We ordered two trifecta breakfasts which included your choice of meat, two eggs, and your choice of a waffle, French toast, or multi-grain pancake. I had turkey links, scrambled eggs, and a waffle. My wife had bacon, eggs with cheese, and French toast. Everything was delicious! Angel was our server and she was beyond exceptional. She provided fast and friendly service which is hard to find nowadays. It is always busy and bustling when we enter First Watch. The restaurant is clean and the decor fits the the of the restaurant perfectly.

Worst First Watch experience! I've visited several First Watch locations and this is by far the worst one. From the wait time to the hosts to the servers. We were quoted a 30-50 minute wait time which we understand given it was the Saturday before Father's Day but the hosts didn't do a good job of seating people as tables cleared up. When we were finally seated, our server took nearly 10 minutes to greet us and when she did she said she would be back in 5 minutes. That made no sense given she didn't have anything on her tray. She could have at least taken our drink orders. I guess another server could sense our frustration so he came and asked if he could place our orders. We really appreciated this and were able to order our drinks and food. Our original server never came back to check on us or say a word. As far as the food goes, I got the shrimp & grits which was a huge portion and pretty flavorful. I also appreciated that they substituted the andouille sausage for chicken sausage since I don't eat pork. My one issue is that the onions were not cut up. There were huge ringlets in it. My dad got the market hash which he enjoyed but it's pretty hard to get wrong. For drinks, the mint iced coffee was delicious but there was more ice than actual drink. They should tone down the ice so people get more of what they're paying for. I did the pomegranate sunrise which was much sweeter than I thought it would be. In terms of the actual restaurant, it's one of the smaller First Watch locations and it doesn't have a bar. There are a ton of large booths for large parties but they were seating parties of 2 at some of them. Overall, I don't plan to visit this location again.

Always a true winner at everything they do and they do it very well! The Holiday Menu features some items that relish in Cheesecake, Cinnamon, Lavender and Cane Sugar. The customer service is top notch and depending on location and time of day, you are never going to want for much, meaning I needed some syrup and as soon as I look up there it was. Warm and thick.

We stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered the Club and the way it was worded I was led to believe the bacon was turkey bacon versus pork bacon....not. Explained the situation and a new sandwich was quickly brought to the table. I was impressed, the server left the original sandwich on the table...so I knew the sandwich was freshly made. The service was excellent t and the ambiance was low key Sunday family oriented.

The food was good. It was breakfast however the food for my wife which was French toast was late to the table. It came after my Granddaughter finished her waffles. That needs to be fixed. That was poor. The hostess and wait service was good as well. Ambiance was good too. We waited about 20 minutes for a table for three. The problem here is that your system is broke. There were several tables open and over 20 others folks waiting. It appeared that there was no method for clearing tables other than the waitress's. Also there was one person sitting at a 6 booth who was finished and sitting there for 2.5 hours according to the manager in training I spoke with. She stated that there is NO policy of how long a customer can sit at a table. No worries though as I will not be back. The food and wait staff is the only reason for 3 stars. You all need to get a system that works. And we are not talking computer system talking about a system to keep your customers moving so it doesn't create inefficiency. As I witness today. There was only 3 of us. Hope you can work it out. I was hoping better.

Went here before going to the movies and loved their fall menu. Got the pumpkin spiced pancakes, chicken sausage, eggs and the sunrise drink with alcohol in it that my friend and I could split. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Dulce Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast strawberries on the side because I thought the glaze might be too thick but it wasn't

I enjoyed the morning glory most of all and my company. The strawberries were fresh and the sausage patty was well seasoned.

Not our first time at First Watch, but first time here at the Bowie location. No one likes a wait but it was suitable enough. Took about an hour for a table but service was quick and good. Food was great. Pancakes are always a great size. I think I am a strong eggs critic but the eggs were okay. Ambiance was cool. Lost my shades! :( Overall, First Watch always is good food with family feels. 8/10 Food-8/10 Service- 8/10 Ambiance- 10/10

Took a chance in going there after listening to folks say it was just all right, but my experience one morning was pretty good the food was good and my waitress was good. I had no complaints and I will go back.

It's a Caribbean spot with a full brunch menu, so yes, the food takes a little time... but that's part of the experience, not a flaw. Given the size of our party, the service held its own. It was steady, attentive, and friendly without feeling rushed--which honestly matched the vibe perfectly. If you come in expecting lightning-fast turnaround, you're in the wrong mindset. Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday, but the weather had randomly dipped back into winter mode after teasing us with 80 degrees, so I'll give them that. Overall, great experience. It was okay - not a lot of flavor, but the proportion of bread to salmon definitely didn't match up. I ended up leaving a good portion of bread on my plate. My husband had the fish and chips. Talk about a huge portion- his fish was huge! He said it was good though. My only serious complaint was that the first stall I went to in the ladies room had a broken lock on the door. That's concerning. Fortunately there was a second stall. Hopefully they get that door lock fixed soon though!
