My second time at love life Café, and I'm still happy with their food and service. I met up with a friend for lunch a few days ago and ordered one of their pressed juices and Vegan Chicken Caesar wrap. The wrap was delicious! It had vegan chicken, red onions, tomatoes, pepperoncini, kale, and was topped off with a vegan Caesar dressing. It was filling and the dressing had a nice citrusy flavor to it. It was light but filling. The wrap is served cut in half and one half was enough to satisfy my hunger. The Liver lover pressed juice contained beets, apples, oranges, lemon, and ginger. It wasn't too sweet and was quite refreshing. This café isn't too noisy so bringing a laptop or tablet to get some work done would work out just fine here.
This dope black female owned coffee cafe spot is definitely a great vibe with the walks decorated in great black art. Its located on an adjacent portion of the Laurel shopping center. The impressive menu of interesting enthused caffienated or non options are many. The staff was very much attentive busy at work preparing the selections of the patrons. I chose the regular acai bowl and the 16oz Camp fire Night iced latte w/oatmilk(its a seasonal favor). I absolutely enjoyed my purchase. This place offers a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere with abundance of seating. The environment is conducive to sitting with the dazzling sun enjoying the moment at the high top or seating low chairs, doing a little reading or work on your computer. The options are up to you but the vibe and setting is everything. While sitting here enjoying my acai bowl and latte, I watched the lady come in with more beautiful black art pieces. Not that I looked specifically to seek out a female owned cafe during National female month; it was my pleasure to have patronized a dope black female owned business. I highly recommend anyone to come and visit this uplifting cafe. It definitely lives up to its name " LOVE LIFE CAFE"/ LOVE LIFE COFFEE.
The perfect place in Laurel to grab a quick match, coffee, or pressed juice! It's a friendly atmosphere with personable staff. My favorite bite on the menu is the curry chickpea wrap. It's flavorful and filling! The matcha is pretty tastey and there are several flavors to add to the mix to have it made to your liking. There's also a run club that meets at the coffee shop routinely to encourage fitness in the community. I thoroughly enjoy my visit each time! I'll be back for a pressed juice and curry chickpea wrap.
Been here before and definitely had to come back! My friend got the lavender latte and monkey frappe (banana etc) and I got the Femne Noir , one of the Valentines special. You can order in the kiosk or on the counter. Cozy vibes and great atmosphere, and great lattes!

I understand it's a healthy menu but me and my colleagues thought it could use more flavor. It's still a refreshing dish but I would go for the toast which is my favorite item on their menu, specifically the tomato. My favorite coffee order: chai tea latte + almond milk + cookie butter.

Upon entering the coffee shop, it felt welcoming and the artwork around the shop was fascinating and I was pleased to know it's from a local artist. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. The menu selection is vegan and healthy focused. The names for the drinks were fitted and shows creativity and a playful way of catching one's attention. For my drink, I ordered "How Nuts Are You? Blend of Pistachio-Hazelnut Latte topped with a White Chocolate Drizzte, Cinnamon & I chose Oatmilk. Although I thought I had asked for Almond Butter & Jam Toast on sourdough, I got the Avocado Toast. Rather than complain I told my friend I would be open minded & try it out. Even though I am not a man of avocado I was pleasantly surprised on how tasty it was but I def would have not chosen that for breakfast. My friend got a Love bomb (which is a non-coffee drink) along with Banana toast. We were both pleased and likely to return.
Love Life Cafe in Laurel is a fantastic spot with a genuinely inviting atmosphere and excellent customer service. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel right at home. I'm always on the lookout for solid plant-based meals, so I was thrilled to see that their menu features plenty of vegan options for wraps and handhelds. I ordered the chickpea wrap, and it absolutely delivered--it was heavily loaded, super filling, and packed with great flavors. Their coffee is also very good and paired perfectly with the food. There are only two main reasons this isn't quite a 5-star rating for me. First, the prices do lean a bit on the higher end for a cafe. Second, while their savory vegan options are great, they unfortunately don't have any vegan desserts to finish off the meal. One of the standout features of this cafe, though, is its commitment to the local community. The walls are covered with incredible pieces by local artists, which gives the space such a wonderful, creative energy. They even host an artist meetup every Saturday at 1:00 PM for anyone interested in connecting. Overall, Love Life Cafe is a solid 4-star experience. It has great food, a wonderful vibe, and is definitely worth checking out!
Because of the reviews, I was super excited to try this cafe. However, I am not 100% sold on it. I had the "Only Tea N' You" and the Banana Toast. Both were a 2.9/5. Nevertheless, the service was great and I like the ambiance/vibe of the cafe!
One of my favorite cafes in Maryland! My drinks are always excellent and the baristas are very friendly! Fun seasonal coffees but if you're looking for something healthy they've got good pressed juices as well. Plenty of seating inside and never too overcrowded. Plus I love all the Black art on the walls! Free parking is available and it's great that they're open a little bit late. I return often to support this Black owned business.
Needed an energy boost and found this super cute BO Vegan coffee shop! The menu is abundant and there is something for everyone that is looking for a healthier alternative meal and drink. I love how inviting the space is as soon as you walk in! The staff is cordial and helpful. Plenty of seating available. And I absolutely adored all of the artistic touches throughout the Cafe! You can tell that someone put a lot of time and love into this space and it works exceptionally well! I chose to order a drink from the seasonal menu called A Link to the Past as decaf and half sweet with oat milk in the iced 12 oz option. It was perfect! I grabbed the Local Tomato Toast as my breakfast/brunch option and it was so delicious! OMG. I wish I had of ordered another one to go! I did grab an overnight carrot cake quinoa bowl and a liver lover juice to go. I've never had a sweetened version of quinoa and now I want to try it that way more often! So good! The juice was tasty, too! There is ample parking in the lot. The prices were on par considering the ingredients and the quality of food that is offered there. I was told to try the same toast but with avocado spread vs pesto the next time as a nice switch up. I'll keep that in mind! I live in NoVa but travel to the Laurel area maybe infrequently. I will definitely make this a staple stop every time I visit now and can't wait to try something else new! If you are vegan/vegetarian or just looking for clean eating options, definitely give this sweet cafe a try and feel the love for yourself.
I stopped by to support a black business. I ordered a latte with a caramel drizzled. The service was good. I had tho wait a little while. The ambiance is great. I love the paintings that are hanging. My only criticism is the coffee was a whopping $8.00 for a large.
I love this place & always stop by whenever I'm in town. You can't go wrong w anything on their menu. I've had pastries, breakfast sandwiches , & their butternut squash soup which was 10/10 amazing! What really surprised me was their hummus avocado toast w crispy onion pieces!! By far the best avocado toast i've paid for. Their service is always really great, too! Everyone back there is super helpful & quick to get your order right. They have free wifi and overall it's a chill place to sit and chat or do work. Love supporting this black owned business!
I love this place! It's small but cozy and the beautiful pictures on the wall of icons (ie Michele Obama and Tupac) game it a nice vibe. I only ordered beverages but loved both of them. The dirty chai was the best I've ever tasted! Gold Star 100% top notch winner winner tea for dinner!!! I also got the Monkey Business cold frappe. I lucked up a found this black owned cafe while looking for a Tropical Smoothie Cafe which is directly next door. I decided to give this cafe a try and I am so glad I did. The cafe has amazing artwork and decor on the wall. I ordered a açaí bowl and decided to add the avocado toast to eat on my drive back home. While waiting for my order, I noticed a community board in which I added my business card. My açaí bowl was so good. I wasn't a fan of the avocado toast as it just didn't suit my taste buds. I will definitely return when in the area. read more

Really dope coffee spot! Beautiful artwork and great vegan options. I got what people recommended and spent $18 on the cookies and cream Frappuccino with Oatmilk (which only comes in one size which was fine although they do charge extra for Oatmilk) and the almond butter and jam toast on sourdough. Everything was delicious and pretty fairly priced considering inflation I guess. Came with a friend and stayed until they closed. Great spot for people who work remote to come and chill. Customer service was good and my order came quickly. They do use paper straws which is better for the environment, but they do get warped pretty easily. If you get the toast, make sure you ask them to cut it in half ! Highly recommend. read more

Had a coffee cake to go. The crumble was really good and while the cake was a little too dense, it's really a great pairing with a morning coffee - which is the exact purpose of a good coffee cake! Please note that when ordering to-go, the service was a little bit slow. Shop was cozy though. read more

I was traveling to attend a celebration of life and was in dire need of coffee before the services. I prefer patronizing a local spot versus a chain, whenever convenient. My default order is a dirty chai when I go out to a new place for coffee. Their dirty chai with cardamom oat milk was the best I've had in a long time! So good I had to go back and try another coffee just to see if that was good too. Navi's Nektar is also worth a try with the unique combination of ube lychee for the macchiato. Staff is friendly and space is nice with a couple comfortable chairs you really sink into to enjoy your beverage of choice. read more

When I came across this trendy specialty coffee shop a few months ago, I promised myself to check it out the next time I'm in town. I was determined to fit it in my schedule despite the busyness of graduation season. The Love Life Cafe was established to uplift and inspire the community, to create a space for people to meet and experience fine coffees, fresh pressed juices, and healthy vegan forward food options made with puuure l-o-v-e. I really do love businesses with positive affirmations or messaging in their decor. It creates an upbeat, welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. This woman-owned cafe is located in the Laurel Shopping Center across from Route 1, which is easy to get to and parking was available. I stepped into a lovely love-filled oasis. The staff were magnificent...very patient with me since it was my first time. I ordered a strawberry rose latte from the menu then saw the sample toasts displayed in the glass and picked the avocado toast (includes marinated tomato, pickled onion, crispy garlic) later on I ordered the coffee cake. Overall, my experience was terrific. The coffee and food was sooo delicious and all freshly made. Loving my life to the fullest! So whenever, you're in Laurel please show some LOVE to Love Life Cafe :o) read more

Came here yesterday to attend a networking event. Black female owned business right off the main drag in Laurel. Coffee wine bar. They serve real glasses with your wine - not plastic. Assorted chips, snacks, sandwiches etc. Very lovely venue, clean, and well presented. read more

Absolutely amazing! Was coming through the area from out of state for a family wedding. Stopped by for lunch. The most amazing sandwiches ever! I don't even really like sandwiches. I had the curry chickpea and cauliflower wrap. So tasty! The flavor combinations are exquisite! My husband had the LLC wrap. The special summer peach tea was perfectly sweetened - not like KoolAid but not bitterly unsweet. Decor is beautiful; service is great - knowledgeable, patient and kind. We thought about the food all day and came back for a sandwich to take home on our way out of town. Kudos! Totally recommend! read more
I had an iced caramel macchiato which was very delicious. I like that the barista asked me if I wanted it to be made the Starbucks way or the cafe's way--which of course I chose the latter.
