Walking along Main Street in Laurel the other day, the signage grabbed our attention as we headed back from another establishment. We remebered noticing a whole line of people going into this place and we wondered what it was. As we came back the second time we saw that it was an ice cream parlor and they advertised the flavor of Dubai Strawberry. Of course Dubai anything is the rave nowadays and my friend wanted to stop in to see what it tasted like. We went in and looked around the shop which was cutely decorated and offered a lot of options from coffee to Banana Splits to waffles and sandwiches. My friend only wanted to sample the Strawberry Dubai so we waited in line and then when it was our turn, the young lady informed us it was more of a dessert that they created and not an ice cream flavor. I noticed that they did have Plpails of Hershey's ice cream and not ice cream they actually made themselves being offered, which was a little bit of a letdown. But hey, if you're in an ice cream mood, then this may be the place for you to go. It's not a custom place, meaning they don't make their own flavors but they do have some candies you can add in. I noticed multiple jars of candies on top of the ice cream display which had pictures of the actual candy inside because I'm guessing once the candy settles is not so appealing to look at. I did notice the gummy bears and there were other add-ins as well. If you're in the mood for ice cream and you're walking along Main Street, then sure definitely stop in. It didn't really tickle my fancy though. It's hard to rate this place since I didn't try any of their ice cream because it wasn't anything original but I will give them one star for curb appeal and one star for how cute the shop was and another star for their different offerings ‍

Super nice! The ice cream tastes good, not too sweet and the ladies are so patient, they speak Spanish and English, the energy in here is lovely. The menu looks small but their website shows everything they actually have! They have specials Monday-Thursday! All food is made hot and fresh~ definitely returning

Cute little ice cream shop with basic flavors and lots of topping options. I got a scoop of strawberry ice cream w/ rainbow sprinkles on a cake cone. It was solid. Not the most amazing ice cream I've ever had, but the location is near me and I would go back if I had an ice cream craving.

This was a very disappointing experience, i was excited to try out their matcha based on what other people have shared and i was charged for something i didn't get. Go to Starbucks !

Took myself out for a quiet moment and stopped in GiGi's for a warm brownie sundae with Moose Tracks ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate and caramel syrup. As you can see, it was well loved. They have a quaint patio on the sidewalk for patrons to sit and eat. Located in Main Street in Laurel.

We live pretty close to Gigi's and enjoy stopping in sometimes for ice cream or coffee. It's always nice to stop in and see the friendly staff and have a quick chat. The cafe itself is a bit small. They have a couple of tables inside to eat at and the sort of foyer section has a seating area to wait/hang out. There are some picnic tables out front though. We haven't tried their sandwiches yet so I can't comment on that but the ice cream (which is Hershey's) and coffee are good. Unfortunately they don't have decaf espresso, only drip coffee. I would love to have the option to get a decaf cappuccino or latte but that's really my only gripe.

They got Macha

Came in and got a great macha latte with almond milk, and a great chocolate chip cookie and nice seating out and in not too busy in the morning

Nestled on Main Street, America, lies a newly opened mom & pop Ice Cream shop -- in this case, owner Karelin is literally about to become a mom! But don't let the ice cream label fool you. On top of their 14 different ice creams (and 10 toppings), they have great coffee and espresso drinks; pastries for humans and their pup owners; and croissant and pannini sandwiches-- high honors to this pesto caprese pannini I'm munching on now. DC-ers, why come to Laurel? Driving Ranges then Ice Cream.

We were both in the mood for some ice cream! I wanted a cone with sprinkles cause I'm childish!! He wanted butter pecan! So we found ourselves looking for ice cream and we found Gigi's!! I made the mistake of getting a dairy free vegan choice! It wasn't soo great! Just the mouth feel of it and it was very sweet! I'll just pass on it next time! However, the cookies and cream was very good! He enjoyed his ice cream also! All in all, we enjoyed Gigi's! We sat outside and ate ice cream on a hot day! Very enjoyable!

Saturday was my second time going to the ice cream shop. I attended the Main St. Festival and decided to stop at Gigi's. I ordered the turkey and cheese panini. It was very flavorful. It was nice and warm. Also, the bread was soft. I couldn't eat the whole sandwich so ate one half yesterday and the other half today for lunch. The service was great. I was greeted and my ordered was taken right away. I didn't have to wait long for my order. It's small inside. They have a few tables inside. They just build a small patio area where you can sit outside. They sell sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, etc.

Well this photo as Chocolate Ácia Blowl extra Nutella! But I crush it every time.

I just love this spot. I've been coming here over the years to get my fill of Pennsylvania Dutch…read moretreats, which allows me to get from DC without having to drive all the way to Pennsylvania. This spot has so many wonderful food stands. Upon walking in, you can pick up a cart to explore all of the stands. My kids love this place as much as me since you can find so much variety. Our first stop is the very busy Amish soft pretzel stand. My kids love the standard soft pretzel dipped in melted butter and topped with rock salt. My personal favorite are the stuffed soft pretzels like the pretzels stuffed with roast beef and cooper sharp cheddar. Nothing tastes better! There are also many other stands that offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. I particularly like Bieler's Donuts, the same place you'll find packed lines in Philadelphia right here. It's such a fun place and my kids love it. But most importantly, this is dad's spot!

Using his wits, his ingenuity, and unparalleled levels of skill and perseverance, Aatami Korpi, who earns the moniker of "the man who cannot die," escapes not just bombs and machine gun fire but a plane deployed as a missile. And yet, the most moving moment of the film is not found in one of its many arresting action sequences but in a single line of dialogue, spoken by one of six Finnish men, who, along with one teenager and one boy, carrying hatchets, axes, and tools, interrupts the battle-finished Korpi's work on his new home to ask in Finnish, subtitled in English, "We thought you might need some help?" Speechless and shaking with relief and joy, Korpi watches the strangers get to work on his roof, walls, and foundation. That level of kindness, assistance, delight, joy, skill, and service can be seen in every vendor at the Dutch Country Market Thursdays through Saturdays at 9701 Fort Meade Rd in Laurel, MD. Whether it is homemade pretzels, pasta salads, chili, produce, meats, cheeses, popcorn, donuts, or varieties of dark chocolate, candy, or fudge you seek, you will find plenty to whet your appetite. Mind you, most, if not all, of everything contains zero preservatives. Our advice is to buy what you can enjoy soon or share your purchases with company before it's too late.

I said you have them on your menu, and I pointed them out on the electronic menu board above the register where there's a sign that says "Order here". The cashier couldn't care less. I got the chicken Nachos. The nachos had a white crumbly chees on top, which I assumed to be Cotija cheese, which I am very familiar with. Nope. It was the definitely the dry almost sawdust Kraft pregrated Parmesan "cheese". I thought the chicken would be grilled Pollo. It wasn't. The chicken had the texture of reconstituted freeze dried scrambled eggs. I own a food freeze dryer and I am very familiar with that texture. The yellow cheese sauce was definitely from a can.
