Took Mommy here to celebrate her birthday & we got my aunt from the nursing home to celebrate since metro access only goes but so far!. We were greeted immediately as well as the wait wasn't long despite being Extremely packed!!, they made accommodations for my aunts wheelchair. Our Waiter Josh was so Nice, welcoming and a good conversation!!. He checked on our table frequently got everything we asked for even when his hands were full or taking menus from another table! He deserved 5 stars!!... onto The Food!! this was all of our first time at FW in general! Mommy got the Trifecta-Multi-Grain Pancakes (Fell apart and even when syrup broke down even more so it wasn't enjoyable) , Regular Bacon (too greasy mom had to dab it & her plate with a few Napkins ) , Scrambled eggs (but they didn't mix the cheese in at all just sprinkled it on top and added chives for garnish!! ;( , My Aunt got the BLTE. Sandwhich which came with a handful of mixed greens just because ! but she turned it into Salad! Since it was just sitting there , I got the Half Sandwhich and Soup - Monterey Club! & Soup of the Day Broccoli & cheddar!! -which wasn't overpowering the soup with glomps of cheese !! It was just right!! Just needed salt & pepper!!. Sooo good!! ..Will be returning for the BLTE because my aunt said it was sooo Good!! & she doesn't even eat grain bread! & will return for the 1/2 & 1/2 combos!!.... I LOOOVEd the Purple Haze & the BlackBerry Lemonade soooo Good!! This is a Healthy-Based brunch place! So if you're looking for a not too heavy on seasonings, avocados thrown in the mix, and Multi-grain breads and pancakes or not heavy on carbs etc this is the spot for you!!! The Ambiance was cool , chill and very packed!!

There was a wait on Sunday. It's new, and things are still working out. Good food! Good location! Happy First Watch opened in Largo.

I ordered a latte and some beignets for the road with white chocolate sauce, and OMG - so so yummy! I loved my little piece of NOLA in MD. & my next time in the area, I will for sure be returning. This location is super fitting too, with a lot of customers coming with their laptop or workbooks to not only eat and be served, but to use the space for their own personal development.

This review is about service and class and who I will and will not trust to prepare what I consume…read more I ordered a Velvet ice with oat milk. The woman taking my order added "no whip" because she assumed I didn't want dairy at all. When I asked for the whip they, with a nasty attitude, told me I had to pay extra. That didn't make sense to me considering the photo shows whip cream included. They started having a conversation in the back about me for making this simple request pointing out what their menu shows. I then pulled up the menu, waited in line again, and I showed them the menu and the mobile app which both show whip included and which you actually have to deselect it and neither has an additional fee. The woman preparing my order acknowledged that she deselected it on my behalf since I asked for oat milk. At this point - this is absolutely not about the whip cream or the upcharge, it is the abhorrent service, the aggressive demeanor, and the unexplained disdain I was shown when I treated both women with nothing but respect from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out of the establishment. ATP the woman who took my order saw the issue and was going to resolve it by, of course, adding the included whip cream! However, the manager, DJ returned and interfered refusing to allow her to do so & going on a rant directed at me when I was not at all in communication with her. Then, as she was returning my order (which included a tip btw!!) she proceeded to attempt to insult me by saying, "if you don't have 70 cents to pay for this, just say so." For the record, the tip I left was more than the 70 cents so that obviously did not land well. Throughout this dumbfounding experience, I was standing there, my voice calm, not raised, in a store full of my customers (after I patiently waited in line a second time) at 10 months pregnant. We all have bad days, but on so many levels, this cannot be acceptable at any point. To insult someone to try to win a "debate" over a non-issue in an industry where some of us remember "the customer is always right," is despicable at best. I hope someone finds a training opportunity in this, but I will not return to ever find out.

Wonderful space to come and have breakfast or lunch even with the crowds, was a nice atmosphere. The steak was tender, the eggs were cooked just right, and the chimichurri brought a fresh, herby brightness that balanced the richness of the dish. The feta added a nice salty finish that pulled everything together. If I had one small note, the potatoes could have been cooked a little more for a crisper texture, but it didn't take away from the flavor of the dish at all. The overall taste was still very strong, and the components worked really well together. The pancake was another highlight. Huge, fluffy, and beautifully browned, with chocolate chips throughout and just enough sweetness to make it feel indulgent without going overboard. Simple, classic, and very well done. Service made the experience even better. Bria was personable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. She kept everything moving smoothly and added to the welcoming feel of the visit. Overall, a very solid brunch experience with flavorful food, strong portions, and great service. I'd absolutely come back, and I'd order the Chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash again.

We were quickly seated and approached by our waitress who also-served as the bartender that afternoon. Because she was genuinely pleasant it made our dining experience inviting. The menu ranged from breakfast biscuits, fried green tomatoes, avocado, toast, etc. so it was hard to determine what to eat, because it was a tossup between cheesecake pancakes and the Biscoff chicken and waffles. Guess who won! With the other combination of soup sandwiches desserts inside you can never go wrong here at milk and honey. This is definitely a land of Milk and Honey! I'm happy they have a kids menu because there's no way these babies would've been able to finish an entree. Beware the kids menu notes a 7 and under age limit. Two of the kids had fried chicken and fries, they said it was tasty. I tasted a fry and it was crispy and freshly dropped. I had the fried fish and grits. The fish was crispy and juicy, just a tad over salted. The grits were creamy and balanced. Also my lavender lemonade was tasty too! One of the older kids snagged the chicken Cajun pasta. She didn't like the chicken but really enjoyed pasta. I gave the pasta a bite and wasn't a fan of the flavor profile so left her meal alone lol. We then ended the meal with the butter cake. Unfortunately it had a sour taste so I sent it back, I was disappointed for sure.

We'd never experienced in-person the yumminess & what a treat I was looking forward to incur. At this location, access is available for the persons w/disabilities as there is an elevator or the stairs - I often think this is poignant in reviews as it's often missed. We were greeted as soon as stepping off the elevator with great sounds from chatter from a private party, a live DJ (who was doing his thing - a vibe setter), a cheerful hostess & immediately after being seated by a bubbly server who made some wonderful recommendations. The decor is a space where one feels as BELONGING, with culture of art available for purchase. The restaurant has outdoor seating & private areas for availability, a full scale bar & allow me to say this - the bartender was on point with our drinks of the biscotti espresso martini (my selection) & cherry blossom lychee margarita (my son's selection), we had our choices of water & sparkling water. Where things went left & downhill from there was the venue's central air was broken, so there was a household isolating fan w/in a foot of our table which would blow our table contents about & did absolutely nothing for the cooling of the atmosphere! Our appetizer was the Honey Old Bay w/ Goddess sauce 6 Jumbo sticky wings, however they were half cooked in the manner of tough to bite off the bone. Next, our entrees were pieced out of the kitchen and served separately meaning, I was served my choices of Crispy Salmon Hash (there wasn't a taste of the spinach cream or cajun cream sauces - only heavily cheesey in attempt to soften the dryness/fried hard shredded potatoes) & an ala carte of Collard Greens. The portion of salmon could've been a bit larger and the said "hash" less dry & crispy (burnt) around the edges, as it was not one's norm of hash - simply shredded potatoes. The collard greens were not deveined or shucked (IYKYK) and very oddly seasoned salty. My son's entree of The Tail of Two Fish (fried catfish - a bit over fried) w/1 side of macaroni & cheese. Ten minutes later my son's catfish was served, wonderfully sized portions and I had to make several inquiries w/other servers, for his mac & cheese then given an excuse that, "the kitchen is behind due to a larger party being served in the back" and she was sorry - yet hid due to this lateness, instead of coming to make amends or another offering. We were now sweating profusely, over halfway finished our food, his mac & cheese arrived, again oddly seasoned salty. Tips for venue - FIX YOUR CENTRAL AIR and turn off your isolating fans (that's germy - yuck, we did it for you)! Hire more staff to cook equally for private parties and dining in guests. Serve all the party at a table at the same time. Lay off the odd tasting salty seasoning, devein as well as shuck your greens, "southern" hash is NOT shredded dried up & crispy potatoes, & portion size your salmon a bit larger. Inspect your silverware before seating guests, clean up after other guests whom have left from their tables as food remained on the floor at our neighboring tables in view (eyesore). And having to request paper napkins & more water is lacking etiquette, especially when having sticky wings while seeing the cloth napkins on our laps, or no offerings of, if other utensils were needed. All in all, we both have mixed feelings, not knowing if this is a one off, or simply just this particular peculiar location & staffing?! Be that as it may We will NOT chance it at $150, as disappointment is heavy on this experience, although my son & I had laughs for the ride home for sure!
