I wish I had read the reviews before hiring First Class Plumbing. I contacted First Class Plumbing and Rooter to address two plumbing issues: low water levels in my toilets and knocking sounds in the pipes when hot water is drained in the master bathroom sink. After researching the issues online, it sounded like my sewer vents are clogged. I mentioned this to Randy the Technician, and he dismissed my theory. He stated that he would run a camara in my sewer drain and that would tell him what the issue was... He recommended that they perform a spot repair section on my mainline sewer and that would resolve my issues. Despite the service, these problems persist, and I am dissatisfied with the resolution provided. The invoice for the service rendered was $5,500, but the issues remain unresolved. Specifically: 1. Low Water Levels in Toilets: The problem continues, and the water levels in the toilets remain low. 2. Knocking Sounds in Pipes: The knocking sounds when draining hot water from the master bathroom sink have not been addressed, and I continue to experience knocking sounds from the pipes in the master bathroom. I called the company and spoke to Mark and he basically stated that I was trying to take advantage of his company and stated that they have great lawyers. Given the high cost of the service and the fact that the issues were not resolved, I feel that this company is crooked... and the manner in which this company treats its customers after service is rendered is not right! read more

The positives: the gas valve on my water heater went out. Called First Class and they were able to send someone out to give me a free estimate within a couple of hours. The person they sent out was very personable and knowledgeable. The negatives: way too overpriced. The quote I got to replace the gas valve was about $1250 and to replace my entire water heater was quoted at about $2400. I declined and got quotes from 3 other plumbers and the only one that came near First Class was at $2100 to replace the whole water heater. Ended up finding someone who did it for $1500, they came out same day and did a great job. Cannot believe replacing just the gas valve was quoted at almost as much as what I ended up paying for a brand new installed unit. read more

Both Ricardo and Tito are great and honest workers. We got new washer and dryer from Costco and they couldn't hook them up because the valves didn't work/wouldn't turn; told us to fix them and call them back to hook up. Called up a few places which quoted expensive prices. Called up First Class Plumbing and they were super affordable and would hook up the washer and dryer for free so we don't have to call Costco back out, Tito came out and removed the old valves and soldered new ones and did the hook up. Then we had a leaking water spout in the front lawn and leaking shower head so we called First Class again and Ricardo came out. He answered all our questions, even checked under the house in the crawl space as we were concerned that we might've had a leak that sprayed water down there/behind the wall. He fixed the water spout and attempted less expensive fixes on the leaking shower head instead of unnecessarily replacing the shower cartridge that we had just replaced last month. We believed our home had a small problem because that just needed to be snaked because we had already had another company come out and tell us our pipes were "fine". Long story short our small problem turned into a pipe having to be replaced. Plumbers are super busy and just to show they are in high demand. After a leak and after waiting for mold removal for week without water... I needed to repair a pinhole leak on a copper wire. FIRST CLASS came to our rescue and fixed our pipe the very next day we were able to get back in the house... Price was very competitive with others but being able to provide us hot water and was extremely fast and professional. Jacob went over what needed to be fixed and suggested a pressure valve regulator since the water psi was 120, said the job would take no more than 3hours, gave me a fair quote similar to others I received and asked him if they offered a military discount which they did that sealed the deal with me. I called First Class Plumbing for a leak detected on our garage stucco/concrete. They were recommended to us by friends. Valerie answered the phone and scheduled a visit the same day around my work schedule. She was very friendly and helpful on the phone/email exchanges. Raul discussed possible reasons of the leak and our repair options. Unfortunately, the leak was too far down for a simple repair, so we had to re pipe. Raul was so patient with me and my husband. He answered our many questions in detail, therefore, we had confidence in him. One star off due to the following: Raul arrived with his team the next day and worked very late into the evening. I was concerned that they were getting tired and I suggested they return the next day as I did not want any compromise in quality of work. The other plumber mentioned he had a job the next day so he needed to finish the piping and Raul will return the next day to complete the rest. They informed me that they were completed and left for the night after putting the water back on. Unfortunately, they didn't check for any leaks prior to leaving. Water was leaking inside the wall so I promptly called Raul. He came back, turned off the waterline, and helped me clean up the water leak. I was not happy that this happened, so I discussed with Raul that I planned to review progress check points. Perhaps, reviewing job length to account for unexpected issues would help prevent situations like ours. Raul returned the next day with new parts. He was very apologetic about it and he was happy to show me progress points of the job. I really appreciated Raul making things right and the quality of his work.
