Not only did he quickly diagnose the issue in our yard, but he also walked us through every step of the diagnostic process. As first-time homeowners, we were not familiar with all the reasons why the backyard would flood. Anthony took the time to teach us about our irrigation valve and watering system--how it works, why certain parts needed replacement, and even where our emergency water shutoff is located for future situations. After the (reasonable) estimate was generated, Anthony picked up the necessary parts and completed the repair efficiently. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a complete master class in backyard irrigation for my sister and I. We were also having issues with a sink P-Trap and hot water not coming out from the same shower where the leak was. Ramon sent out a plumber, named Fernando, who opened a hole in our drywall and after a couple of mins of eyeballing the area, he determined that the leak was coming from an old seal on the shower overflow. He also said that the issue with the hot water was coming from a cartridge issue and that he would fix it. All together for the P-Trap, seal replacement, and cartridge replacement I was charged $600 after receiving a $100 discount for paying all cash. Fast forward to now, our shower knob broke due to a faulty cartridge. It was an old, broken cartridge that Fernando installed which caused the knob to break. The leak? Never fixed. We patched up the drywall and after a couple of weeks started noticing water stains in the same area again. I reached out to Ramon regarding the leak and he said he would get back to me with info on when they could come back out but then went unresponsive. Since he wasn't responsive after I reached out about the leak, my wife reached out to him from her # about the cartridge issue and he asked her to send pictures and that he would fix it if it was their fault. Pictures were sent and we followed up with him multiple times just for him to ignore our calls/texts and send us to voicemail. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I now find myself looking for another plumbing company on here to help with the leak that they never fixed, and ended up paying an additional $189 for a whole new kit to replace the cartridge and damaged water knob

Jonathan came out and confirmed that that was indeed true. Everything seemed to be going well. Jonathan was very friendly and polite. When it came time for the estimate, he told me it was going to be just under $3,000. That seemed like quite a lot to me for just changing out a blower motor and a capacitor. He also told me that my Rheem furnace couldn't take just any old blower motor and he had to order one special. He said that his company doesn't deal with Rheem because their parts are hard to get. I reluctantly agreed to the repair, which he said would probably take place the next day. Later, he called and said the part wasn't going to arrive for a whole week. This was during one of the hottest weeks of the year in Southern California and I certainly didn't want to be without air conditioning, which runs through my furnace and needs the blower motor. I asked him what my other options were. He told me the only other option I had was to get a whole new system. He explained that he could install the system in only 2 days time or I could wait a whole week and have him repair the blower motor. He also mentioned a 10 year warranty with 1 or 2 years of service from his company. I asked him about the brand and quality of the Furnace that he intended on selling me, which was going to be almost $8,000. He told me it was better than my current system brand and I asked to get it in writing so I could do some research. After not receiving anything in writing I called his company and requested the same thing from them. Shortly after the conversation with his company I received an email specifying the make and model of the new furnace. I researched online and discovered a few interesting things. Number one, Jonathan had lied to me about Rheem parts. I found out from my online research that Reem takes Universal parts and I would not have had to wait until the next week to receive a blower motor that would fit. I also discovered that blower motors and capacitors cost nowhere near $3,000 to install. And finally, the brand of the new furnace that was recommended by Jonathan was nowhere near the quality of the Rheem furnace that I already owned. I canceled the job immediately with the company and again with Jonathan when he called me to find out what was going on. I am still waiting for my refund on the deposit! My contractor friend and I went to an HVAC store and purchased a universal blower motor and capacitor for $180... and installed it ourselves in a couple hours. The system is working perfectly. I don't recommend this business at all. I'm completely confused on why they have such a good rating on Yelp, which is why I picked them to begin with. This was a clear case of trying to take advantage of an old lady in a wealthy neighborhood. Shame on them!! Update: I received a full refund of my deposit and the service fee was completely waived. I got a nice apology from the owner and a manager.

The technician was very friendly and courteous but, and it's a big "but" he quoted me $900-$1200 for a kitchen faucet and another $1900 for labor. He also stated that his company couldn't guarantee the installation because our water pressure was over 100 psi. Plus he needed to replace our angle stops which would be another $350. I purchased a faucet at Costco for $125 received other bids for less than $300 labor, called our water provider, CVWD and they were aghast that the plumber said our water pressure was too high as it's at 550 psi which is normal for our area and equipment. After I declined to hire Pride Plumbing I've received over 14 text messages and emails from them although I replied with "stop" on their texts. I've now had to block over three different phone numbers yet today I received another text in which I responded again with the reasons why I didn't hire them. Im a senior living in a beautiful community but cost is a factor when I consider vendor services. It's my opinion that I felt taken advantage of and have written this review.

Ceiling collapsed from my old HVAC system that was leaking. I looked up heating and air service came across Schneider Heating & Air gave them a call within an hour or so. Michael gave me a call back. I was able to schedule Michael to come out the next day to take a look at my HVAC system. He came out gave my husband a great quote regarding the repair and one regarding a new install. Doing my due diligence I did contact a few other companies they quoted me extremely high (taking advantage of the situation with outrageous quotes), took forever to get back to me said they couldn't come out for like five days six days but again their quotes were extremely high doing the same work that Michael said he could do. I contacted Michael back to schedule a complete new system and install. Michael's customer service, response time, excellent price and the time it took to do the installation was above and beyond. After searching Yelp for Heating and Air companies in my area, I came across Schneider Heating and Air and decided to give them a call. I'm so glad I did! Mike, the owner, was able to come out the same day for an inspection. He diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part, and came back the very next day to complete the repair. He called in his buddy, who came into my house and asked repeatedly "so you're the home owner?" "So you're the only one here making decisions?" "You're single?" He pushed me to buy a new unit and went over financing options. Told me if I signed that day they'd give a substantial discount. I felt that this whole interaction was pretty predatory. I told the tech I would need to think about this, and get another opinion. While the tech was here, he replaced a part to get the system working for the time being. They gave me an invoice for over 1000 dollars. I told them I'd need to have my dad look at the invoice and make sure I wasn't being over charged. The invoice was vague and did not list the parts that were replaced. I asked the tech to let me know exactly what was replaced. He wrote down a list, still pretty vague. My dad said that the parts replaced should have been around 400. Not over a thousand, and even with labor, this invoice seemed pretty unreasonable. I called the company back to discuss. They would not tell me exactly what parts they put in, and ultimately decided to drop the invoice completely. My assumption at this point was that they knew they were being shady. Fast forward to now. My system is freezing and not working properly. The tech from another much more honest company that came out today said that tests are showing multiple types of refrigerant, which could be causing my issue. I called year round to let them know that they should have drained the system before adding another type of refrigerant, and they maintain that they never added any refrigerant when they were here last. I think that this company is not taking accountability. I let them know I'd be leaving a review to share my bad experience. Shortly after I received a call from the owner of the company. He asked me to explain my issue, and when I did he denied that his techs would ever act in the predatory manner I described. I told him I did not wish to speak with him any more as he was not taking any accountability, and that this in fact was my experience, and I would be sharing it in hopes of protecting others. I hung up the call. HE CALLED ME BACK TO THREATEN LEGAL ACTION IF I "SLANDERED" HIS COMPANY! This review is not slander. This is an honest account of my experience with this company, and I will not be bullied into not sharing. I can't imagine how many of their customers have fallen for their predatory tactics. Honestly I feel pretty nervous that these guys have my address and could retaliate. Luckily I've got cameras and will be on high alert. This guy was pretty upset over the phone.

Here is what came of it: 1) Every person in leadership was very apologetic and wanted to make it right. 2) The ceiling was repaired and you can't tell there was ever an issue with someone damaging the ceiling, so great job in the repair and making it right. 3) Senior Leadership apologized profusely. 4) AC Pro was partly to blame for the long install time because they had made a change to the X-Series and did not update their website or HVAC companies who sell their product. Shame on A/C Pro for the failure. 5) The issues of no booties in the house, the folks who returned were pretty good about it. 6) The restroom issue, that was addressed by leadership with their installers and maintenance employees. 7) The overflow drain pipe issue was fixed. The initial installer did not drain to the primary, so that was the issue. The company came back, fixed it, then came back again to check on the quality and cleaned up the fix (I trust the 3rd guy, he was top notch transparent and has years of experience doing high quality work....thank you Dean). 8) Leadership apologized profusely, have I mentioned that enough? I can't describe the level of anguish they felt for the issues that came with my job. 9) To anyone reading this, expect an a/c replacement job to take anywhere from 2-3 days. Don't expect a 1 day job, ever. Build that knowledge into your planning of time off to be around when they are doing the job. At the end of the day, Sheldon's turned out to be a great company. While there are continued kinks in folks learning about how to be the best installer/repair guy, I can tell you they all care about their quality and want to do right by their customers. Finally, they have still kept me as a customer, so if any of this review means anything, they proved to me why they are one of the best in the game when it comes to customer satisfaction. Update: 5/20: The job was completed by 8pm on 5/19. 1st night, no issues. 2nd night, found water dripping out the emergency drain pipe (video included). Now I have to find time I don't have to get this resolved. In 12 years in my home, never once has my system hit the overflow drain pipe, adding to my frustration with this install. Steven tried to call me at 3:30pm to discuss this review, but did not answer when I called at 5pm when I got off work. Also, noticed the water shutoff valve that was temporarily turned off, the guy who turned it back on never put the cover back on. Original review 5/19/2026: I am currently (5/18, 5/19, and counting) having a full HVAC replacement, outdoor unit, indoor unit, a return installed in my master closet, upgraded to a 2-Zone system. 1) Install is not done after Day 1 them being here from 10:18am - 9:30pm. I was told it was a 1 day job....but after research, that is not true. 2) I had to work from home on the 2nd day to be here for the continued install. I they got here at ~8am and as of 5:30pm, they are still here will no end in sight. 3) I have not received any communication about when it will be done. Only when I inquired about item 4, did I get some communication. 4) Damaged my ceiling and I suspect the also damaged the pex causing a leak. They did get someone out here to fix the leak, but that guy came and left with no communication. They did shut off my water in the am of the 2nd day, but had to go about 4 hours without the ability to use the restroom in my own home. 5) One guy in particular used the restroom multiple times and never washed his hands. Gross. 6) They did tape up plastic to try and protect from dust and debris, but it fell down and now have dust and debris all over the items in our closet. 7) Overheard one guy say he doesn't install the AC Pro X Series, so it sounds from his own words and what I've been hearing the last 2 days that these guys don't know what they are doing. 8) On Day 1, they left my side gate wide open when they left. 9) They broke one of my tree branches and didn't remove it, instead just left it hanging. 10) Everyone has been nice, just incompetent. 11) I paid for 2 Ecobee units and the installer didn't know that, so had I not asked when they would install the 2 unit, they would have left the Nest in the hall and the new Ecobee in the Master bedroom. WHY ON EARTH would I want to be on 2 platforms for a dual zone system? Common sense is lacking and definitely basic questions aren't being asked on their part. If you're the owner, please reach out to me. I have heard great things about this company, but so far, have 0 reason to be impressed. We have family who have given you a lot of business the last 15-20 years, so I would recommend we come to a resolution on this.
