Friendly customer service... Technician was very helpful in helping me understand what the problem was and what caused the problem and future solutions to foreseeable future issues. I however used the wrong card with a higher interest rate realizing my boneheaded mistake, I called customer service and was able to resolve the problem with the right card. This organization is very professional and laidback at the same time. Enjoyed my experience so much that I joined their membership and received discounts on parts and services and became a VIP member to get help before a non member moving me to the front of the line!!!! My system is a 20 year old system that limps along but still works and I was weighing the options of a tune up to get through the season or put repair money towards a new system. I sent out inquiries on yelp and Year Round was one of the contractors. They got back pretty quickly but I was unable to take the call for a bit and they were texting and calling a ton, very persistent. In general, the company seemed very friendly, very competent, but their pricing is quite a bit on the high side, and their sales tactics are a bit tired. I don't think they deserve a 1 star for it but fair warning to others to watch out for sales tactics. When I was finally able to field a call, they got a tech out the next day. Tech was very friendly, took amperage measurements of the capacitors and motors and priced out a new capacitor and fan motor for $1700 but mentioned a more senior tech was not far and he could come by and take a look. The more senior tech cleaned my condenser without me asking which, ok, cool, thanks, but that felt kind of like entrapment by doing it without permission so I was a bit wary that it was a tactic. They said that yeah the 1700 fix could get me through the season but that the system was on its last legs and that I should meet with a sales person to talk about replacing. I was a bit wary again, a dedicated sales person is a bit of a red flag. Told them I'd rather not, they then offered to replace the capacitor and the fan motor then and there and if I decide to buy a full system they'd credit that 1700 towards that. Again, I said no thanks (remember, my system technically still works), I'd rather not waste the tech's time if I end up buying anyway, which he hesitantly accepted. The sales person was supposed to come by in the evening and about an hour before they came by the fan on the condenser unit stopped working. I'm not saying they did anything to it cause I don't know for sure, but the timing was a bit too convenient so I'm putting it in my review. I went out and got it spinning again and it has worked ever since. He wanted to check the unit again when he got here and seemed a bit perplexed that when I said it was running fine. After he checked out the unit and we chatted about backyard stuff (guy was very friendly) we went inside and it turned into a timeshare presentation at my dinner table. He had laminated pages in a binder, package printouts, and everything. After some hemming and hawing about the differences between the units he shared prices. $24k for a single stage Lennox system, $27.8k for a 2 stage compressor Lennox system, and $34.9k for a variable rotary Lennox system. I was starting to understand why they were willing to "fix" my compressor at sunk cost with the bet that I would buy. The margin was huge. I asked if that included any duct work, he said no. I was about ready to say no thanks but then he found an excuse to "call their dispatcher" which just about made my eyes roll because this is such a tired sales tactic. TLDR, they "could offer my the two stage for the price of the one stage if I get the work done tomorrow" and that if I said no they wouldn't honor the offer in the future. I said I understood and said farewell. Again, very friendly, attitude seemed good, but there were so many coincident sales tactics that took place that made me feel really uncomfortable going with them. read more

DON'T use this company owned by Rafael Zaragoza!!!!! They installed two wall heaters for us and left without leaving the inspection paperwork. They said it would be sent immediately. I have been waiting for six weeks and have made dozens and dozens of phone calls to the receptionist who hasn't got a clue and refuses to give me any other phone numbers to find out the progress of my paperwork. This is maddening. I'm not even sure this is a legitimate company. Zero stars if I could. Again Don't use them save yourself unnecessary stress. read more

let me tell ya about my technician, Julian. He's a very young, enthusiastic but, knowledgeable person. He's very alert to keeping your home as clean as you have it. Always wearing his slip on "booties" & carrying a roll out mat to keep from marring the floors. Julian lets you know if anything is wrong with your system. He's knowledgeable in A/C repair, & improving your system if needed. Julian is very friendly, & courteous when entering & exiting your home. He treats your home like his own. For my value, Year Round has met every aspect of what, I need. I trust in them wholeheartedly that, I get their twice a year maintenance program. All the technicians at Year Round are Top Notch! I think YRAC might be psychic. I was just thinking that I should call for my annual tune up before the summer sets in and lo and behold! They called me to check on my system and offer the annual tuneup! It's always a pleasure to speak and work with Annalynn (I still don't know if that's how it's spelled LOL) but you'd be hard pressed to find someone nicer to speak to. They had an opening same day in the afternoon which I obviously took. Edgar arrived on schedule with advance notification as promised and immediately got to work. Edgar asked me if I had any concerns or issues I wanted addressed and I did have one which he did check. Even though I told him he didn't have to, Edgar insisted on using his little booties to keep my home clean when going in and out which speaks volumes for the little details. Edgar cleaned and inspected my condenser and main system cabinet quickly but efficiently. Edgar found 2 opportunities to improve my system and explained the benefits of both but didn't insist or force them on me. He simply educated me so I could discuss with my wife and decide which, if either, route we would take. It's been a pleasure working with YRAC since day one and I'm glad we decided to go with them when we had to replace our failed unit 3 years ago. I know I'm in good hands. read more

This is the second tech I had come to assess my problem. The first tech saw that I had a sealed attic and recommended installing $15,000 of minisplit systems to solve my problem. Year Round, had more inspection tools to examine my inaccessible vents and found my problem to be an overworked, dust-caked blower fan. He fixed it and solved the problem for $400. The tech worked diligently to find the problem and documented everything with pictures and videos to show me the problem. It was a good experience and I'd hire them again. read more

Update. April 2026. I am updating this review due to what I feel is unfair and untruthful promises . Here is what happened in my words. After leaving 5 star reviews for Year Round Heating and Air, it saddens and disappointed me to leave a 1 star review. This review is about the company and not it's excellent employees. I caretake for my sweet 97 y.o. Mom and after a bad fall, 14 years ago I added on to my home and moved her in. It's my greatest Blessing to be able to caretake for her. In 2021 her HVAC a/c unit broke and I was shopping for a new company. That's when I met Raphael at Year Round Heating and Air Conditioning. He really impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. When he told me she wouldn't have to worry about heating or air conditioning for 10 years that sold me. So much so that I not only bought a new HVAC system for her addition, I also used him and replaced my home A/C and heating and felt confidence in his 10 year warranty. Let me say that every single employee, from the girls that answer the phone to every single service tech that has been out - each and every one is excellent ! - polite, clean, and knowledgeable. Whenever I had a need I would call and they would usually be out the same day. Their fast service and friendly employees is greatly appreciated and I thank them for that. In August 2025, less that 4 years since I bought the units, Mom's A/C broke. Since she is now 97 y.o. I needed it fixed promptly. I was told they had to order a part and it would take a month to get it. In the meantime they lent me a portable a/c unit and portable heater. In September the part arrived and didn't fix the problem so now they had to order another part. That arrived the next month and didn't work either. This went on and on until December. They told me if that part didn't work they would replace the unit. The part didn't work. Now they said the company is having them order new sensors before they can replace the unit.. This is a terrible way to treat a customer, especially a 97 year old. Raphael said he would lose money if he had to pay for a new unit. At this point I politely told him August, September, October, November, December and still not fixed. This to me is unacceptable and what happened to the 10 years no worry guarantee ? He said his company won't replace it until every part has been tried to fix it. After 5 months I finally cut the ties and found a new reliable company in Upland and bought a much better Lennox unit for Mom and couldn't be happier. In my opinion this is a terrible mistreatment of elderly people and says a lot about this company. After 14 years of caretaking for Mom I have become an advocate of the elderly and find this behavior of a company unacceptable. I feel like I not only let go of a company I trusted , but also lost people I thought were friends . read more

The great customer service I received when they installed everything and all of the promises that I was going to get after and the next steps have not been fulfilled. I was told that there was going to be an inspection. I have never been reached out for that and also I was told that my unit was going to get serviced every few months and filters replaced.
