I had the tenants call and let me know the AC wasn't working so I got on Yelp and searched HVAC near the city the house is located in. They came up first, were one of the few that stated they were open on a Sunday. Come to find out it was the capacitor, which my husband just fixed in our home. He said it was an easy repair and that he could do it to save some money. We bought our first home that came with hvac that was original to the build...1984. Mike came in and carefully walked us through getting a new unit including a split for our home office. We remodeled the garage to use for the home office and he gave advice ogn the type of insulation to use and it was much needed. I was highly impressed with the work done by AireTech. Their tech was able to find a leak in my AC system that other companies prior could not or would not find. Everyone else just pushed for me to replace the system. Some other companies flat out refused to do refrigerant leak repair work. But Aire Tech saved the day! My AC system had been on the decline for a couple of years. Called a large company out to give my system a tune up. Long story short almost got swindled into spending 20k for a new furnace and compressor. (Company rhymed with mexgen). Gave Mike a call for a second opinion. Despite my system eventually needing a replacement, Mike was able to put a band aid on it so I can deal with the heat in the time being while we plan for a new system. I have a 1920's Bungalow style home in San Bernardino which sole HVAC system was a 52K BTU gas floor furnace, they went over every option I had in terms of a full HVAC system and we settled on a 4-zone ductless mini-split. I have a (5) year warranty for their labor and a (12) year from Diakin (the Mnfg.). Dennis and Mike worked quick and clean, I have absolutely zero complaints. They continued to check in after the install to assure everything was running to satisfaction. Throughout the process they never pressured me into a bigger system or attempted to up sell, merely offering the best opinion within my budget. Dealing with Aire-tech AC has been a pleasure since the very beginning and ongoing. When I first called to schedule for an estimate I left a message after hours and I got a call back the very next day and was scheduled for a consultation with a technician. I got a text message and an email soon after my phone call with complete details including a picture of the person coming to do the inspection and consultation. Mike from Aire-Tech arrived exactly on time as scheduled, I even got a message when he was en route. Mike took a look at our existing system, looked at the components, went into the attic to see the ducting and took pictures so that I could see what he was looking at up there. He tested our system with his equipment and showed us live what the readings were saying and what they meant. He asked us what we were looking for in a system, he walked us through options we had and made some recommendations but never pushed us for anything or tried to "upsell". He was patient with us as we went through the options and pricing and he told us his ideas for how to really make our house the right level of comfort we were looking for. He left us with a lot of good information and welcomed us too look at other contractors and options they presented. I called him back a few days later after we had decided on Aire-Tech and things got scheduled for quickly and efficiently. Mike scheduled the design appointment for the next day which was great for us which would put our install date a few days later right before the huge heatwave coming. He saw an issue with the water heater and gave us a really good price in replacing that as well. I was already aware there may be an issue with it so I wasn't surprised, and once again he didn't want to push us to getting it repaired but he highly recommended it and gave me clear reasons why and what the work would include. On install date my wife and kids stayed with grandma because Mike warned us well ahead of time it would be a long hot and dusty day. Which it was. Mike and Dennis worked all day in 100 to 110 temperatures installing everything. Any issues that came up were overcome with quick thinking and letting me know if I asked or if it was important that I was aware. Once everything was installed and tested it didn't take too long for me to really see the work well done by Aire-Tech, Mike made sure I was happy even after his very long day. I even got follow up communication from Mike the next day to make sure I was happy. The next day was 110 degrees so it really tested the system and it was working far better than we could have imagined. My wife is already looking forward to the Winter and the use of the heater... Haha. I'm very glad I found Aire-Tech and would highly recommend them to my friends or family anyone looking to be comfortable.
