We've lived in our 1978-built house for over 20 years. As long as we can remember we've had trouble cooling our house - several professionals have been in the attic. Finally, on the recommendation of friends, we called Aire-Tech for an assessment. From the first meeting Steve was professional, and polite, while clearly explaining our cooling issues. Needless to say we hired Aire-Tech to replace our whole system. Steve and owner, Mike, came over on a Saturday to thoroughly plan the new system configuration. A week later Steve and his amazing crew spent 3 days removing the old and installing a quality system which included all new ductwork for greater efficiency. I had a water heater installed almost 4 years ago and it stopped working. So I decided to call Aire-Tech who installed it to find out the warranty on the water heater. I was told I have a 5 year warranty on the Tank when I called the company. I was told to reach out to another company(plumbing) because they don't do plumbing anymore. We just had a couple of techs, Steve and Raphael from Aire-Tech come out on a service call, the two were very polite and very knowledgeable about the system. They listened to us and asked questions about what they did not understand. After checking out the system we found out that the capacitor that a previous company had overlooked was bad. And that the freon was a bit low. The previous company's tech had stated that the freon was fine and wanted to sell us an add-on capacitor to fix a perceived problem. We told Steve to go ahead with the repairs and it was done to our satisfaction, plus he showed the wife how to program our thermostat, which no one had ever done for us. Long story short - Dennis from Aire-Tech is amazing! Full story below: I have an old unit. I don't know how old it is, but it's OLD. It began to blow less air and eventually, it stopped blowing cold altogether on the hottest day of the year so far. I called Aire-Tech and they sent Dennis out the next morning. Dennis was on time and eager to get to work. Within 3 hours, he had diagnosed the problem, found 2 other problems that were supposedly "fixed" from the previous company I worked with, completely cleaned all the components in the system, added a washable filter, and repaired the problem. This old HVAC unit is blowing better and colder than it has in the years I've owned this home. Dennis was professional, informative, and well trained. He could've taken me for a ride because we were in such a bad way, but he actually saved me more money than I thought I'd be spending after my own internet and youtube investigations and self-diagnosis. When I saw that they only charge $60 to come to my house and diagnose my AC issue, I thought I was about to get put through the ringer as far as everything they were going to try to sell me. Then the day of my appointment they called and said they uad vehicle issues and my first thought was now I have for someone else to come out a week later. I was wrong twice today. Mike made it out today and not only that he didn't try to sell me every component on the AC. He quickly fixed the issue, ran some checks and charged me way less than what I was expecting. My air conditioner went on the fritz...would not blow cold air and sometime blow at all. Nick diagnosed my air conditioner as having dirty coils. I had just bought the house and he said it looked like they never changed the filter or had construction done in the house and ran the air conditioner at the same time (no no to do). He said it looked to be the problem but would not know for sure until they were cleaned. I took the chance and had them cleaned. I watched him clean the coils and showed me the dirt...and boy were they dirty! 2 weeks later and my air conditioner runs great!!! My family and I are very satisfied with the service provided by Mike and team with Aire-Tech. It's rare in this day and age to find a company that meets expectations, let alone exceeds them. Not only did Mike work with us to ensure that our solution was the correct custom fit for our home and the most affordable bid I received, but he provided education along the way as well. He walked through the entire job ahead of time, and let us know what we should expect from the time line needed to complete the job, to how intrusive his workers and equipment would or would not be. Amazingly enough, his crew (Normally Dennis first thing in the morning) started each and every day on time, and was even there early waiting for me to let them in. This ensured I didn't have to miss any additional work myself. My house was cleaned up each day after they shut down in the evening, and Mike also checked in with me at the end of each day to provide status, if I was not around when they left. I've got an old air-conditioning unit that's been limping along for the past few summers. This is a family owned business and they take pride in what they do. The technician that installed our heating and air condition is Mike. Due to the layout of our house, the age of the house and the placement of the thermostate we had some problems with temperature control. I just had 2 brand new AC/Heating units replaced in my home. One for the up stairs one for the down stairs. AC/Heating. I also had vents, duct work, gas lines and a few other services done.
