A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

My contractor gave her information about what I needed, so she was able to direct me to the right section and let me shop. As I narrowed down choices, she set them aside so I could compare them, thereby making a well-informed decision. She placed them side-by-side so I could get a good view of all of my choices at once. This made it easy to eliminate selections. I was able to learn a lot about my flooring--who knew that I didn't like beveling! I also learned about the great quality I was getting over things I was seeing in big box stores. So what did I choose? It was a tie between two that were very, very similar. Either one would have worked great in my home. So--and please don't judge me--I looked at the manufacturing location and selected the flooring based on the country of origin! My husband got home from swim lessons with the girls and realized that my oldest had left her prescription glasses there. I hopped in the car with my 9-year-old and headed straight there. The Tile Shop has a few parking spots that say "for customers only," and I'm always very cautious of not parking there out of respect for their customers, but as my daughter would just be running in and I was letting her go alone, I parked in one of their spots. I was holding my phone about to call inside the swim location because she had been in for a minute or two and I wanted to make sure they were helping her locate the glasses; there was a tap on my driver's side window so I turned and rolled down the window. An employee (named May or Maeve?) was standing there, upset and outraged that I was parked in their spot. I explained my daughter had JUST been gone a few minutes to grab her glasses and I wanted to be as close as possible to watch her as she fetched them (as I'm also raising her to be responsible for her things!). She told me that I wasn't allowed to park there and I said I'd move as soon as my daughter got back. She waved her phone at me and told me she was calling the cops. She walked to the front of my vehicle and proceeded to photograph me and my car as I waited for my daughter. She then walked back inside the store and paced in front of the windows where she either was (or pretended to be) on the phone with the cops. I understand first and foremost that I was parked in their spot. From start to finish, this entire experience was less than 5 minutes between parking and reversing. My daughter hurried out, I made sure she was buckled and had retrieved the glasses, and we were on our way. This employee was not kind. She was not respectful. She didn't give me the benefit of the doubt to even remotely understand why it might be helpful to park there temporarily. There are much more important things for our cops (if they were called) to be dealing with than an employee who should be inside the store doing her job and assisting customers rather than harassing mothers in the parking lot. I have never felt so disrespected in such a short, brief amount of time.

The sales representative, Gale, was super helpful in pointing us to different types of tile. Their tile types included marble, porcelain and ceramic. They had some very unique designs especially for flooring. The store was very pleasant to tool around in as their air conditioning was ice cold. With 95 degree temperature outside it was a delight to be in Arizona Tile. While Arizona tile has a good selection of tile textures, their tiles were mostly muted colors, i.e, Beiges, tans, whites, off-whites, etc. we only saw one sample that was all color...too much color for us. We are looking for tiles that have with a pop of color. Our bathroom countertops have little speckles of gold. Do we want to play of that color. This was tile company to help narrow out choices. We feel good about where we are in the tile selection journey. We have about six tile companies on the list that we were given by our contractor. Two down.... Four to go.

Rick helped us to source ideal materials for our kitchen and made suggestions that helped enhance the functionality of the space. Additionally, we have a toddler and his team did an excellent job working to accomodate nap schedules, playgroups, and cleaning up diligently to ensure our little one's safety in our home during construction. Several months after the remodel, when I had one or two minor issues (so small that I can no longer even recall what it was), Rick came out personally to fix them and ensure that everything was still meeting his standard of excellence. One of my dogs recently chewed one of the cabinet facings that housed the built in trash can, and Rick- who paid careful attention to my love for my baking and cookbook collection- also helped me to come up with a cookbook cabinet solution that will be built to put in its place (and will be far less enticing to our hungry pups!). We plan to do a gut remodel of our master bathroom in the near future, and we will use Austin Kitchen and Bath for that as well without hesitation. Their quality control, personal service, and attention to detail are fabulous and I am beyond happy with the care they put into creating a communal space that has become to hub of our home.
