I bought a groupon and I contacted the company. They were supposed to come out on a Saturday morning between eight and 10 on September 20, 2025. I was hosting a large party for my work and it was going to be helpful to have the windows done. It got to be after 10 o'clock that morning. I called and texted to find out if someone was coming. I still haven't heard from them. I ended up having to add cleaning the windows to my already long to do list to get ready for the party. It's a scam and too good to be true. I responded to an ad for window cleaning and reviewed the Yelp site. NO ONE ever answers the phone at the main office. When scheduling they told me 10:00. Not 10 - 12:00 arrival. Again, whatever. Be more clear. They arrived 20 minutes late so I had to postpone another appointment. Then the person at the door did not speak/understand English. Seriously. Then Enrique comes out of their truck to translate. I had already called 2 different numbers to cancel the appointment with no response so I went ahead and had them clean the windows inside and out. After they left I moved everything back inside the house since I moved them away from the windows and found bugs still in the tracks and wasps on the floor, debris on the floor. I cleaned it up even though the next day he offered to come back. No, thank you. The Yelp site states they take credits cards but then when asking for payment they said they wanted a check??? I no longer use checks. If I do I send a check via my bank to the business address. Checks will be going away soon!! Then asking me can you pay by Venmo? No. Zelle? No. So I asked what about Paypal? Okay that worked. Enrique said he would text me the info the same day. The next day I receive the text for $10 more as he said PayPal charges $10 transaction fee. Well, they charged $3.50 but whatever. In addition, as a customer, I do not appreciate the 2 service people, and Enrique, communicating back and forth with a snicker as I was trying to explain the arrival time, what i needed and asking if they understood English. I contacted Amy's janitorial services about a month ago to get an estimate on washing the windows in our house inside and out as part of spring cleaning. I read some reviews and the customer seemed pleased with her services. We have 19 windows in our house. It is a one-story building. A few years ago we invested in solar screens so the job included interior washing exterior washing and removal and replacement of the screens. The quotewas very reasonable so we decided to proceed. The first appointment was a couple of weeks ago and there was supposed to be some pretty rainy weather moving in for several days so Amy Requested that we reschedule. I was fine with that as this was just part of spring cleaning not for any special occasion. I rescheduled for today in fact around noon. If I had any negative thing to say it would be that they showed up early and I was not prepared as I had planned to pull out the furniture, pull up the blinds and shades, and run to the bank and get cash is that was in the way I preferred to pay. The young man who came to do the outside windows and a woman who was going to do the inside were very understanding and gave me a few minutes to get the dogs squared away so they would not be in the way. They then proceeded to clean the windows. The interior windows did not take it as long as there were no screens to remove and replace. All in all it took about an hour and a half for them to complete the job. With tax and tip the charge was under $100. They did a good job and the windows look great. Now to get the rest of my house up to par. I absolutely would recommend Amy's Janitorial Service, they do many different types of cleaning so don't hesitate to call her for an estimate. I used this Company in October 2021, for cleaning the exterior of 13 windows ( only 1 interior window ). I also contracted their services for my driveway(Power washing). Some of the windows were not clean properly and the driveway had dirty spots that they missed. I only wished I had not brought the crew inside my house to clean the only interior window that I could not reach myself. The crew damaged the texture and the paint of the wall. They did not use booties leaving dirty foot prints on the texture of the wall. They also did not use clean covers to protect the corners of their ladder which caused a dent and peeling on the texture of a wall/floor base type platform under the window. I also had to kindly asked them to use face masks as I'm at high risk. The supervisor/owner by the name of Enrique came that afternoon to inspect the flaws. At first, he wanted to deny the damage but I had pictures as proof and his employee confirmed the damage as well. The supervisor committed to send a painter 2 weeks later to fix the wall issue and to clean the 3 windows that were not properly cleaned. The appointment was scheduled for 9am on Nov 1st. After 1 hour of waiting and NO show I contacted the manager. (Not a single apology and not a single call to notify me that the painter could not come) . The supervisor texted me 2 hours after the appointment time(again not a single apology) and told me that he would get back to me within an hour to find a resolution. He never called me back. I gave them 1 star because the prices were reasonable . I would NOT recommend this company for detailed cleaning and if you do not want to risk damage to the interior of your home and you like attention to detail just pay a little extra and look somewhere else. I agree with the previous review From Travel Happy that they only take checks or cash and If you want to use a Groupon offer(be aware that they will not take it). I wanted to use a Groupon and the owner said NO because of the location of my house. The Groupon clearly states that it can be used within 20 miles of the location of their office . My house is 18.8 miles. From all the correspondence by phone calls and texts that I exchanged with the supervisor , I did not receive a single apology. That is NOT acceptable. The windows were so clean that they appeared seamless as though you could walk thru the glass--just spotless. The gutters were very clean and the cleanup from cleaning the gutters was efficient and very clean. Review of Amy's Janitorial Services 7601 Daffan Ln Austin, Texas 78724 (512) 653-4582 I had purchased a "Groupon" package that allowed for washing up to 16 windows both inside and outside. This included removing and replacing the screens... Including the glass back door we only have 12 windows, and only 10 of them were to be cleaned on the inside. I phoned the day before the service was scheduled just to confirm the appointment, and was told on the phone that the package I purchased did NOT include WASHING the screens! That would be an additional $1.50 a screen. I ask you, WHO would pay to have all the windows in their house cleaned and then cover them back up with dirty screens?!?!? Okay... FINE, I'll pay the extra $15.00 to get the 10 screens cleaned, but I'm NOT happy about it! Well, they show up an hour early with no phone call or warning of any kind... Then proceed to tell me it was going to be $2.50 per screen to clean them! I logged back into "Groupon" and did find in the tiny, fine print where it does say screen cleaning is $1.50 extra per screen... So I went back to the guy that seemed to be in charge and informed him that the web site where I purchased the service stated $1.50 each and that was all I intended to pay! He reluctantly agreed... Once he came to me and said they were finished, I had to make them go back and actually CLEAN 5 of the 12 windows because there was actual spots of dirt stuck on that I could scrape off with my finger nail. Most of the windows STILL have streaks. Additionally, they left dirty soapy water all over my patio and in the yard! AND, Every Single One of the screens, I paid extra to have cleaned, still have pieces of dirt and bugs stuck in them in various places... Apparently, because I refused to let him gouge me, and held him to the published price, he decided to only clean 60% of each screen! Unfortunately, by then my energy was depleted and I just told them to have a good day and sent them on their way! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We were hoping to find a regular window washing company who would come every quarter....so after reading somewhat decent reviews, we scheduled an appt with this company. The day of service comes.....and NO SHOW. We were expecting a visit so we planned accordingly and stayed home for half the day. No call, no nothing. I call on Monday and get a "I don't know what happened". I decided to give them one more shot and rescheduled. Left work early so that I could be home.....and again NO SHOW!!!! I call and text Enrique and he finally responds and claims to not know what's going on and says "I'll call you back in 10 mins". 2.5 hours later I get a text "My guy had truck issues, I'm sorry can we reschedule". Uhhhhh NO! We will not reschedule! Absolutely ridiculous that they do this to us 2 times in a row. We will find a more professional and reliable company to do business with. What a waste of our time. The quote was very reasonable and we set up a time for an appointment to clean the windows a few days later. Deceptive liars!!. Stay away, you have been warned. They have a post on Groupon stating 20 windows for $69 to attract your business. Groupon states screen cleaning costs $1.50 for any additional windows. When scheduling service over phone they will ask you to NOT purchase the Groupon (so they are not bound by Groupon policies) and they do not clearly specify that screen charge will apply to all windows not just the 20. When they are at ur home, and you have already taken time off work for the service, they will 1) Over count your windows. 2) Add screen cleaning cost to all your windows to bloat up your cost. read more

They did a great job on cleaning my windows, were finished within an hour with about 15 windows, great price, polite people, communicated well. They did, however, forget to close my gate in the back yard, which would have been a real problem for my dogs getting out if I hadn't checked before I let them out. I originally hired Amy's through a groupon for window cleaning. The crew did an outstanding job, was on time, and courteous. Since then, Amy's janitorial (Amy is the owner's daughter- truly a family owned business) has pressure washed my limestone porch several times. On one occasion,they came the same day I called. They have painted the entire exterior of my 2800 sq foot home beautifully. In December, I hired Amy's to paint the interior of my home, wash windows, porches etc, to sell it. I needed to list it quickly, and Amy's was ON IT!!! I recently had new carpet put in. They were extremely careful to keep it covered. The entire project was done by deadline. In order to make this happen, extra painters were brought in, and stayed well into the night to finish. I was never charged any extra. In addition, Amy's mom did the make ready clean beautifully. The final cost was extremely reasonable, the work outstanding. The company by far the best home improvement company I have worked with. read more
