We paid over $400 for a move-in cleaning (3,000 sq ft home). Our home had already been cleaned by professional cleaners when the previous owners moved out but they had a dog and my family is sensitive to pet dander and I just wanted another good cleaning before we moved in. I requested that they focus on the windows, cabinets, drawers and floors (hardwood). When I asked for a deeper cleaning of the carpeted, I was told it would be an additional $70 for steam cleaning. All fine. However, after the cleaning, my husband went to inspect and found the floors to be dusty and dirty (bare feet turned black after walking around a bit!). When I reached out, I was told that it was probably cleaning residue?? They offered to come back to clean or a $50 discount (still putting the bill at $440). At this point, I figured I'd do the final cleaning. Fast forward two weeks, we finally moved in and to my disappointment, the cupboards, and drawers have crumbs in the corners and just don't feel clean. Not to mention, when I vacuumed the stairs, there was still dog hair. I hate doing this to a small business, but as my husband put it, it just feels like we "wasted money" because we are doing quite a lot of mopping and cleaning when really we expected to move into a cleaned home.

The next couple times were lack luster performances. Frames weren't straightened out after dusting, little things here and there. Then our first item was broken. A hand blown glass vase given to us as a wedding present. We were told they would replace it, but it was a one of a kind gift by our friend. Then the cleaning just got sloppy. Footprints left behind after mopping ( everyone knows you mop yourself OUT of the room ) the shower curtain would be rolled up around the rod, frames not straight etc. I had left a review to management and was told that, "if I wanted things done a specific way, just leave a note for the maids." This was frustrating because then it made me feel like I was nit-picking. The next visit, instead of being on top of their game, our hallway rug had been wadded and thrown on my desk, shower curtain again, rolled up in to the rod to clean the tub, bath rugs had not been put back, tub not cleaned, toilet not cleaned, sink still dirty, trash not emptied, coffee table not wiped down, pictures crooked... then I looked around and realized something. Where are our dogs? We took advantage knowing the ladies were coming and went to early dinner, arriving home at 7pm. When we realized that once they came at 1pm our dogs had been left OUTSIDE in 104+ heat WITH NO WATER after drinking it all and their dog door LOCKED. I was beyoooonnndddd livid. I sent him an email since the office was closed. I got this response: " Oh no, I can only imagine after a long day you wanted to come home to that. I agree, leaving your pets locked outside is unacceptable. I haven't spoken with the ladies yet today but I will definitely make sure that doesn't happen again." Never did he say SORRY. When I thought about it overnight we decided to cancel our services, and I requested a refund which was not given... what a disappointment.
