Booking was easy, and I'm always appreciative of that. The team also showed up on time, which I'm also appreciative of. But the deal is: they charge an hourly rate for a team of two. There's a two hour minimum and you can basically just tell them what you want them to do. We gave them a totally manageable list that a team of two could ABSOLUTELY accomplish in two hours, 2.5 MAX. They took over four. It was just a move-out clean, so the house didn't even have any furniture in it. I'm really not being unrealistic when I say it could've taken two. They absolutely took advantage and now we're out an obscene amount of money for some dusting and vacuuming. I do NOT recommend. I requested a quote a few days ago for my 1100 sqft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Cathy was super fast to respond and quoted me cheaper than some other places so we went with them. I cannot remember the girl's names who came over to clean (I'm so sorry!) they were both very nice though. We had company coming into town and I had been camping all week and was too tired to clean before they got here. We were planning on them being here between 10:30 and 11:00 am, they showed up about 11:15. They came in and I showed them around and explained what I needed help with. I let them know my priorities were the bathrooms, kitchen, then living room. I had most everything picked up and kept doing dishes while they were here. They started work at 11:30am. We decided to go for the two hours and see how far they got then decide if we wanted more time. Keeping in mind I haven't had anyone help me clean in over 11 years, I wasn't sure what to expect. Both girls started on the bathrooms first, but it took them over an hour to clean two bathrooms. I was really surprised at this. They even said when they walked in "oh these aren't bad". While they took a long time, they looked great once finished. With the 45 minutes remaining, one girl cleaned the fridge (just the inside and the doors, the top wasn't touched), they did a wipe down of the counters and stove, swept and moped in the kitchen. They appeared to be rushed at the end so the kitchen didn't look nearly as nice as the bathrooms did. The other one vacuumed the living room, hall, and kids bedroom. I selected 3 stars because I was really expecting more to be done in two hours. This might be unfair expectations on my part. As I haven't had this done before I didn't know what they would do. Because of how long it took them to just do the bathrooms I decided against purchasing any additional time since I could just get it done faster on my own. I was disappointed they didn't get to finish the kitchen, or do anything besides vacuum the living room. I think if they had said ok in two hours we will get XYZ done, I would have had more of an understanding of how much would get done. If I decide to hire a cleaning service again, I think I will pick one of the bigger ones where they have a whole 4 person crew just woosh through and get it all done fast. TLDR; Most of the work that was done, was done well. It just took longer than I expected. Edit: I did a quick walk through before they left as requested and everything looked pretty good. I was just standing in the bathroom talking to my boyfriend and wiped my hand over the counter (we have those dark marble counters that you can't see any dirt on them from the texture) and there was beard hair and clumpy dust on my hand. Yelp does not let me give zero stars otherwise I would. Terrible service. Looking at the place they gave us a 2 hr - 2.5 hr ($150 to $180) estimate. 4 hrs and $300 later not much had changed. We had to pay a lot of money for work not properly done and I have to rehire someone to clean the place up. We were ok doing this to prevent more damage to the house. Found an ash tray in the house with two cigarettes in it. When asked they said they kept it there because they were cleaning out their car. One of the two people was on phone for 15 mins chatting with someone even after we walked in. At some point I was prepared to pay what it took for them to just finish and leave The fridge is not clean. Carpets havent been vaccumed properly. The bath tub and wash basin is still unclean. And this is after spending 2 more hrs than they originally estimated and twice the estimated amount. They have removed all fixtures without asking us leaving holes in the walls which I need to fix Pictures attached. I had to hire a new maid service the next day to actually do the cleaning . We hired them to clean our recently purchased home. It was entirely empty. They arrived at 9am. I arrived at 1:30. At 2:30 I asked them to walk me through what had been done because we had movers scheduled to arrive 3pm. After walking through the "cleaned" areas I noticed dust, cob webs, and dirty surfaces. At the end, Rainey said she had before and after pictures of the completed work. I asked her to see the pictures so I could feel comfortable paying them for the work that had been done. She got extremely defensive and threatened to call the police, which I encouraged. At this point she left. I spoke to the owner Cathy and asked for the before and after pictures. Initially she stated that she would gladly send the pictures once Rainey sent them to her. After 4 days she is refusing to send the pictures or a list of what had been completed. If your hiring them by the hour, please be sure to provide a documented list of what needs to be completed with time estimates. They stated they took lunch. Rainey for an hour and half, the other for an hour. Then they stated that they did 3.5 hours of work and were giving me a deal for only 3hours. 9-2:30 = 5.5total hours. After deducting 1.5 hours (depending on who was right) you get 4 hours. If charging an hourly rate - I would caution using cleaners who are loose with time. It sounds like they have a reputable business in Austin, but I would not recommend in the San Antonio area. (Later edit) In reply to Cathy's comment. I offered to pay and you encouraged me to wait until my wife was able to see the home later in the evening. I absolutely encouraged a 3rd party to be there, and and I believe my exact words were "please do" when she threatened with the police. That was when she abruptly left. Regarding time keeping: if charging hourly , the crew should be able to accurately document time. In regards to the the cabinets, bathrooms, and walls. This is not true. The one wall that was scrubbed is pictured below. Obviously this wall was cleaned. This was the first thing we discussed when I walked in and the only wall that was completed and the first thing that was addressed when I arrived at the home. I called my wife at 1:44 to clarify what she meant. There was no berating, but their perception is reality to them. I asked them to walk me through what had been done, and they refused. I expressed my concern. She perceived it very negatively and blew up, this was not my intention. I was expressing my dissatisfaction with their work. I contacted Cathy to do a move out cleaning. She told me that the cleaners would come between 9-10am. At 9:54, I received a call saying they were on their way and would be at my house in 15 minutes. Two girls showed up at 10:10. The third girl didn't show up until 10:17. All of the girls ran out to her car to help bring in her cleaning supplies. They looked hungover. They didn't get started until 10:20. I was working outside in the garage sweeping when the girl who showed up the latest actually had the nerve to ask if they could go to Starbucks. "We wouldn't change you for the time." It's pretty unforgivable to show up over 15 minutes after a one hour window. It's insane to me to ask this question. If they would have shown up at 9:30, sure... but I don't have all day. So I say no. This is already going to take longer than planned as it is. I wanted them done at 1pm since I had plans in the afternoon. I had to go in and out of the house while they were cleaning and they kept forgetting I was around, saying inappropriate things. Fine, but unprofessional. I had to run an errand, so I made sure the girls didn't have questions and had my number and left for an hour and a half. I had the AC on 76 since it was 90 out. It was nice and cool in the house. I return and the the girl who asked to go to Starbucks earlier... her car is parked in a different place. Clearly, she left. The AC is set to 72 without permission. It doesn't stop running when it's 90 outside and I set it to 76... no idea why they'd adjust it down from there. They are nowhere near done. I started cleaning some stuff that got missed. At 1:15 they say "we're at time". Ummm... you didn't start until 10:20 and one of you clearly left for at least 10 minutes. One of the girls whine "I just wanted some water." They're supposed to come prepared, aren't they? I'd bring a water bottle with me to the job, not leave and pretend I was there the whole time. It was only a 3 hour gig. Most of the stuff they did clean was done well. They just need to drop the whiny millennial thing, come prepared, and show up during the one hour window they were supposed to. And they treated it like they weren't really that late. Like the appointment was at 10. Nope. A one hour window is not a 10:00 appointment. Not the same thing at all. I had been waiting on them since 9am. They had zero intention of getting there before 10. I wish they would schedule it for 10 if they know that. I wouldn't hire them again. The cleaning was okay. Luckily I was smart enough to do my homework and have been hiring cleaners for quite some time so I know the going rate is $30 per hour, per person. If you are being quoted higher than that, your getting ripped off. And if your being quoted 5 hours to do a cleaning job with 2 people, think about it. If a single person can't clean 1000sf in two hours, they need a new job, no mater how nice these people are or how good of a job they do. These gals quoted me $375 to clean 2000sf in 5 hours, another did the job for $165 with 2 cleaners. If you select them, I hope your $200 tip was worth it. ----------------- Well apparently, from the owners response, one has to wait until after they have been screwed by using the service with a high price quote before posting a warning to anyone else on yelp. Funny, I didn't think that's what this service was about. I'm not commenting on your ability to clean, I'm warning about your quoting method: We'll just hire us and it will take up to 5 hours. Holy Crap, the 2 guys the painted the whole house only took 3hrs and you expect people to believe it takes 5hrs, oh sorry, UP to 5hrs (at your discretion) to clean a few bathrooms and kitchen without a fridge! These guys are fantastic. The owner Cathy responded so quickly to my initial request and on a weekend. I was on a very tight schedule to get a move out cleaning done because 3 other companies and booked and then canceled last minute. I let her know what I needed and how quickly I needed it done and she got me in right away. On the day of the cleaning service they called me to check and see about hard water deposits in my shower which were awful. 2 years of build up doesn't come off easily. They made an extra stop to get the supplies they needed and still showed up with in the originally quoted arrival time. The whole job took 3 hours and they could have easily wasted time as I was only able to let them in and then had to go back to work, but they were honest and did what they said they were going to do.
