I've lived in Austin nearly my whole life, and for over a decade, I had the same incredible woman help me clean my home--until she grew too old to continue. After that, it took a few tries (and a lot of patience) to find the right fit... and thank goodness someone recommended Enviromaids. From the start, they've been communicative, professional, and incredibly respectful. They come fully prepared with everything they need and have a seamless, systemized approach that seriously impressed me. Every visit feels like a true deep clean--my house sparkles, and I feel so at ease. They now come every two weeks, and I tell them every time: this is my favorite day! It brings me so much peace and joy to have a clean, refreshed home--and even my 5-year-old gets excited when they arrive. If you're looking for a trustworthy, experienced team that genuinely knows what they're doing, Enviromaids is it. read more

The owner just called, yelled at me, threatened me about how powerful she is in Austin and that if I left a one-star review, she would tell people and make my life miserable. Issues with service: They do not use cleaning products. They use your dish soap on your kitchen counter to clean your counters and bathrooms - zero antibacterial cleaners used. I tried working with their team four times, gave clear and respectful feedback, and the owner called to cancel 30 minutes before, denied providing poor service, and threatened a customer. The other team member is great, he was always professional, but it's a bad sign when the CEO/owner doesn't respect or acknowledge poor cleaning services and has an ego about their years of experience instead of remedying the situation. She only changed her mind on canceling the service when she found out I was going to leave this review after 6 minutes of gaslighting me. Unprofessional, poor cleaning, DO NOT USE. read more

I recently used Enviromaids for a move out of an apartment and they did an amazing job! No surface, corner or nook or cranny was left untouched. The place was sparkling and smelled so clean when they were done. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone who needs a good cleaning!! read more

I had such an amazing experience. I was out of town while they cleaned my place, and coming home to everything spotless was honestly the best feeling. Every surface was sparkling, things were organized, and it felt like walking into a fresh new home. I've tried several cleaning services before, but no one has paid attention to the details the way they do. They clearly take pride in their work -- the little things were done right, and nothing was overlooked. Reliable, thorough, and truly top-notch. I'm so grateful I found them and will absolutely keep using them. Highly recommen read more

I needed help to clean my oven/kitchen for the holidays. Enviromaids took care of me like family. The owner fit me in and made sure my job was completed even though I was a small job. The woman who tackled my messy oven cleaned it so well it looks brand new. This business shows compassion and their work is magical at a reasonable price, a great value at a busy time. They came on time , got the cleaning done and left within an hour . I would hire them again, next time I am not able to clean myself.

I've used this business for regular cleanings for several years now. They're extremely reliable and communicative, and of course, they do a thorough job. Feedback on quality of cleaning is regularly solicited and it's easy to make adjustments to their routine when needed. Definitely recommended! read more

Very reliable and easy to communicate with. Yelp is requiring me to add more characters to post my review, which makes me incredibly angry at Yelp, but I still want to leave a good review for Enviromaids. read more

I booked a deep cleaning with Enviromaids and was so pleased with the whole process. Although I scheduled it kinda last minute, the manager was so flexible with me and managed to get me on the schedule. When judging how well a cleaning company does I always compare it to how well I clean my own house (as I obviously care for all my things and my space). Their cleaners went above and beyond my expectations and made my home feel like it got a new breath of life! Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be using them again when my home needs a good and thorough cleaning (like after hosting Thanksgiving perhaps). read more

I have been using Enviromaids for over two years now and I can believe how amazing my house looks every time they leave. The cleaning was subpar, floors still had visible dirt and dead bugs as if they weren't swept. The original quote was changed once the maids arrived and the manager on the phone was extremely rude when I challenged her on raising the price/hour by $25. Manager doesn't understand the concept of honoring an original quote and then arguing with the customer. It's not every day I get yelled at by a business owner. read more

100% will use them again! I booked two maids for a move-out cleaning. We have a dog, so that meant a lot of hair literally everywhere once we got the furniture out. After the cleaning service from the incredibly friendly maids, we walked in and were blown away. No hair of course, but the products they used smelled great, and me and my roommate just ran around every room amazed at how clean everything looked and smelled. Also a thank you to Said for staying in touch throughout the entire process! I'll be recommending to anyone that needs a cleaning service. read more

Rate is reasonable. I've used them twice so far. 1st time was the master suite - It took 1hr longer than estimated or expected to clean the master suite (given that the bathroom was very dusty). They missed the top of the shower doors but the rest was spotless clean - definitely much better than what I would have done if I was to clean it myself. 2nd time was just a small bathroom and after communicating about the amount of time they took last time, they finished within the estimated time frame and bathroom was very clean so I appreciated that very much. Will use their service again. read more

Communication w/Lupita was good when I contacted her about first-time service. I've been putting off this review bc I'd rather not spend my time giving someone a negative review but I just can't shake it. The cleaning was supposed to be a deep clean. When I returned to the house (rooms being cleaned totaled less than 1,000 sq ft) I noticed the two main lamps in the master hadn't been dusted. Surprising but no biggie, I let the associate know & she dusted them. She had to call to see if I could pay by cc. Thought that was kind of weird but whatever. When I spoke to Lupita she asked how everything was. That was nice, so the more I started looking around (two associates were outside in their car) I noticed a few more things - top of armoire wasn't dusted, kitchen light wasn't cleaned (could still see cobwebs & dust). I felt like I was maybe being petty but no, this is standard cleaning and especially for a deep clean, this was not acceptable. I let Lupita know and the associates came back in to clean. Not ideal, it's just extremely awkward. Although Lupita was open to the feedback, I shouldn't have to point these things out, especially when it's supposed to be a deep clean, they've been in business this long, and I was told one of the associates had been with her for 6 yrs. After they left I noticed the next day they hadn't done the baseboards (something we specifically talked about initially), didn't clean the bathroom cabinets, there was a weird film on one of the side tables, another was dusty & streaked, the window ledge above the kitchen sink hadn't been cleaned. Now, I will say the bathroom tubs were done well, the kitchen counters & sink were great. However for a $149 deep clean there were some obvious oversights. The reason I hired a service was to do the things I don't want to do - things like thorough dusting & baseboards. I sent Lupita pictures a day or so later of the baseboards but never heard back. I uploaded the pics to Yelp as well for this review. The inconvenience & awkwardness of having to bring the associates back in then not having the baseboards done was a pretty poor experience, especially for a first time customer & "deep cleaning." Last, I should probably mention when I opened the door to the two associates, I introduced myself, they did not. Very impersonal & actually offputting, cold, you could even say rude bc of it. I never even knew their names, barely got a hello and no smiles. I was hoping to find a friendly service to use regularly. This clearly was not it. read more

Lupita and her crew were delightful to interact with! The clean took longer than anticipated but that is because we lived in the same apartment for 4 years and underestimated how dirty our window seals were. They went threw every cabinet and cleaned our bathroom to the best of their ability. WAY BETTER than what I could have ever done. They made my move out stress free and I can't thank you enough for the service. I recommend them HIGHLY for move out cleans. The two cleaners are very hard workers and friendly. Great business! Great people! Good rate! They won't be the cheapest you come across, but they are't far off and you get what you pay for and they work as quick as they can! WORTH IT! read more

I needed a deep house cleaning company to clean my previous house as I was moving into a new home. The job they did was amazing! Thank you so much. read more

I scheduled with the company weeks in advance for a scheduled move out. I told the owner my house size and indicated on a scale of 1-10 that the cleanliness was at a 6. She told me the cost was $150, a flat fee. We scheduled the cleaning and I took off of work to let the cleaners in the home at the scheduled time. On my way there I called to confirm their arrival. I was told there were not enough staff and asked to reschedule. I explained I could not due to contractual obligations. The owner did apologize and called other companies to rectify the situation, which was very kind. I thanked her and she arranged for staff to go to the home asap. I bought a lock box at lowes to facilitate the late cleaning. I was contacted 2 hours past the scheduled time and informed staff were on their way. 3 hours later I asked for an update and was told the home was more challenging than expected. I explained that I cleaned the cabinets and refrigerator before moving, and was confused about the challenge. The owner then explained to me and alluded that I was lucky, as the cleaning should have cost me $300 due to how long it took the 2 crew members. Essentially, I was lucky I got the flat rate. I didn't feel lucky as I took off of work (unnecessarily), discovered there was an issue with the scheduled cleaning minutes before their scheduled arrival, had to buy a lock box for a one time cleaning, was late on a contractual agreement to ensure a professional cleaning, and was told the house was "challenging," which was why the cleaners were late. ************************************** The cleaning was scheduled for 9am. At 11:10am I was notified via text that staff were in their way from Austin to Leander to clean the home. I was notified at 3:25pm via text that the home was clean. The cleaning took at least 3.5 hours. I did not see the home afterwards. The picture attached to the rating is what the home looked like prior to cleaning. I would never use the company again nor recommend the company to others. read more

We used this company because a groupon company flaked out and we had family visiting for the first time and really needed to get the place cleaned up. Lupita answered the phone and gave a really good deal to clean the whole house. They sent over 3 girls and one spoke really good English. They took about 6 hours cleaning most everything. The microwave would be extra as would be the frig or stove. They were able to make it before the house guests arrived and did a great job. I think they were getting a little tired towards the end but Lupita said if there was anything they didn't do right that they would come back and make it right. I wish I could afford to use them on a regular basis as it gets easier for them if coming on a regular basis. read more

I needed deep clean after several months of life getting in the way of my routine cleaning for too long to bear. The Enviromaids crew was available promptly and did a nice, professional job. This was the absolute best house cleaning experience. They did an amazing job on our house! I don't review THAT often on Yelp -- it takes a lot to get me to write something up. But this was extraordinary. I was in contact with Lupita earlier this week and she gave me a really fair quote. We were discussing times and she told me she had an opening today, so I snagged it. Two ladies were there a handful of hours later, and they were ready to go! They were both very kind and careful with my cat and their attention to detail is stunning. Didn't miss a single spot. Our house had lots of dust in corners that I figured I would probably have to quickly clean afterwards, but I didn't! They got it all. The house has never looked this good. The best part is that they did everything SUPER fast. Our house was...a total mess before they got here. I honestly felt a little bad. I just moved in and there was lots of dust and the downstairs toilet was ehhh not great. It only took them two hours to turn this place into gold. Also, I don't have to worry about the cleaning supplies bothering my cat since it's all eco friendly. Highly recommend them! read more

We hired Enviromaids for a move-out cleaning. Their service request explicitly stated they would remove all cobwebs, spiderwebs, dust, etc. and clean out all the drawers. These services were not completed to our expected standards. Even the sink drains in bathrooms were left with stains. Our washer and dryer area was also completely neglected, as well as our microwave and dishwasher. Despite paying for a professional cleaning service, we have to pay over $100 in additional charges for our unit not being cleaned properly. If I could request a partial refund, I would. They knew we would be unable to come survey the property and thus didn't clean it as they should have. I would not recommend this company for move-out cleaning. The hourly rate and time it took do not justify the lack of care our duplex received. read more

I loved this service! I highly recommend Enviromaids, and I can't wait to hire them again to clean my house!

I needed my home to be thoroughly cleaned after years of renters and Enviromaids responded quickly with a fair price per hour and sent two people to clean it the next day. The home was quite dirty and they did a pretty great job aside from a couple of corners and a light fixture that I noticed they missed. No big deal compared to the project as a whole. They also cleaned an extremely dirty and moldy refrigerator very well. I also paid extra to have the tile and grout steam cleaned, and that looked good after too. Overall, I was pretty pleased with the customer service, price, and quality and will recommend them to my family and friends. read more

We did not have a good experience with Enviromaids. We were moving (and leasing back our home), and needed to do a professional move-out cleaning upon leaving the home. This was important for us to be able to get our deposit back. It's a 4900 square foot home (so very large). Estimate/Cost -------------------- We called for the estimate, and were told it would likely take 2 people 5 hours to do a full move-out clean. This was at $80 an hour, so $400 total. It's understandable an estimate might not be exact, but you expect it to be in the ballpark. On the day of the cleaning we were told they would send 3 people instead of 2, which would raise the cost. We were told this on the day of the cleaning and had to be out in a few days, so we didn't have any time to look around for somebody else. The final charge was $933, WAY outside the initial estimate. Cleaning ------------- The cleaning was not great. They mopped the hardwood floors and then dripped something white on them, in multiple rooms. There were also footprints all over the floors where they walked on them after the mopping. The counters were still grimy. The marble-like surface makes it hard to see issues, but when moving your hand across the counters, instead of a smooth surface it was still really rough. They weren't able to get the hard water stains off of the shower glass, although there are apparently ways to do that, especially for a professional cleaning company. The bathrooms weren't cleaned very well. They left a bunch of crumbled up 'Magic Erasers' in one of our sinks. When cleaning the blinds they were apparently very rough, some of them had one side yanked vs. the other side being all the way down. The baseboards weren't cleaned very well. Our realtor did a walk through and was really disappointed. They had to come back after we had all these issues. The owner was very defensive, and forced the payment even though we wanted to wait until the cleaning was finished. When we said this, we were told they would just use the card we provided previously (without our permission), even though we had specifically asked them not to keep our credit card information on file. Summary -------------- In the end, it was a bad experience. They were recommended to us by our realtor, and they said they would no longer be recommending them to any of their clients and will share with his colleagues. I certainly wouldn't recommend hiring this company, especially for a move-out quality cleaning. read more

This was my first time hiring a cleaning service. Enviromaids exceeded my expectations and were very easy to work with! Supporting a local and eco friendly business was important to me, so I am so glad to have found one. They offer a fair and competitive rate, and even rounded down the time they spent cleaning my unit when it came time for the bill. I paid for a move out clean of my 1 bedroom apartment and I think it is cleaner than the day I was given the keys to it! I definitely recommend their service and will be using them again.
