Our apartment is small, 550 square feet. It's got everything in its place. But...I'm embarrassed to say it was dirty. Eek. Busy work and social schedules leave little time for cleaning. They came and did a deep clean that included a special, 10% off and a free fridge clean (inside). Two cleaners came and when we returned home two hours later the place was impeccable! Shining bright, extremely clean, and smelling fantastic!!!! They were even able to get the shower grout back to looking new. I think the pricing is extremely reasonable (even the rate before the special) because two women came in here and busted a## to make our apartment sparkle. The little touches made it even better (making the bed, folding bath linens like a fancy hotel, etc.) Communication went above and beyond. Looking forward to having them back in a couple weeks for a regular clean. read more

First time ever utilizing a cleaning company and was sorely disappointed. Instead of scrubbing, there was only a general wipe down of surfaces and pushing items to the back of the counter to look clean BUT this was supposed to be a "deep clean". Major regret. read more

It was just OK. I ordered the Deep Clean, paying close to $300. Not everything was cleaned, let alone deep. In the order form, I explicitly asked them to clean inside the window frames; those were not touched. I took out some bins that usually stay under our bed and get quite dusty. Found them just as I left them. As a cherry on top, I wasn't able to open one of my drawers after the cleaning; not sure what they did with it. As of this writing, it's still stuck. read more

Took a shot with a new cleaning company to make the house ready for our new tenants! Our new tenant said that they were thorough and very friendly during their 3 hour cleaning, and that obviously reflects great on me. :) Thank you for making me look good! Will continue to use you in the future! read more

I've been with Maids and More for over 9 years and they are wonderful. They are trustworthy and reliable and always show up on-time. They may cost more than some other maid services but I also consider reliability and quality. I highly recommend Maids and More. I have the bi-weekly cleaning service. If I need to change the schedule, they are accommodating. I currently have Yadira and Karla and they are quick but thorough and they always do something special. They neatly fold the towels and even fold the end of the toilet paper roll. That's how detailed they are. You can't go wrong with Maids and More read more

I called maids and more for a price quotation on a 2200 square-foot house. They quoted me $168 the first time then I got another billing for $188. They did not schedule me for another cleaning. Now they moved me to monthly cleaning because they didn't schedule me at $221. When you have a billing problem, they transfer it between a couple of people and don't really seem to care to get it resolved. They never returned my call about the dispute on pricing. Check your bill. read more

Very good company. They have great communication and provide excellent service. You can count on them to treat you fairly and do an amazing job. read more

Paid almost $500 for deep clean. Crew spoke no English. Basically cleaned the floors and vacuumed. Baseboards, kitchen cabinets, light switches etc all left dirty. Terrible service. read more

I've utilized this service multiple times before. However this last time was the only time that I wasn't in attendance and an item was found missing. I emailed inquiring about the item but received no response. Needless to say I lost my trust in this company and will no longer be utilizing their services. Not only that for some odd unknown reason the team stuffed paper towels in my garbage disposal. If you value your home and items do not choose this company. read more

Needed a make ready cleaning and they did a great job. Kelly was through with scheduling, booked it quickly and followed all the instructions. There are a couple of minor things that could be done better but I reached out for their "satisfaction guarantee" and hope to have a smooth touch up. read more

Last minute request due to people visiting and they got me in. The girls worked so hard. Very thorough. Have lots of pets and neglected for a bit so it needed more time. My house really needs their attention 2x a month. Thankful for all their hard work and ability to get me in. Thank you Maids especially and Moore. read more

Okay so listen up. My apartment was in a bad state - I had suffered from depression and grief for months, worked from home due to COVID, was trying to study for the bar exam, and had a cat in a small space. Things were bad and I didn't know even know where to start. And then the AMAZING ladies at Maids and Moore came in and did one of the BEST home cleanings I've ever seen in my life. No judgment, just awesome cleaning. Every single nook and cranny was mopped and wiped, the appliances were immaculate, they fixed stains, and they cleaned things that weren't even on the checklist. My apartment was seriously not HALF this clean when I moved in! They were also very sweet and accommodating, and made sure I was okay with everything before leaving. If you're in need a deep spring-clean/re-set clean after a rough year, I would seriously recommend hiring maids and moore! Process of getting a quote and scheduling were super easy. read more

Worst customer experience ever! My first time with them. Charges $200 for a minimum of 3 rooms, 2 of the rooms were completely empty and needed a deep clean (which did not happen). Was supposed to come between 8:30 am- 11:30 am and didn't show up until 2:30 pm Do not recommend read more

This company was hired to clean our newly purchased home that was empty, prior to our move in. The appliances were new, the house had been vacant for months. They did a horrible, sloppy job with the little bit that needed to be done! Cobwebs on ceilings and corners. Dead bugs in the closets. Inside windows filthy. All they needed to do was wipe the windows and vacuum and they didn't do that. $400 and I still have to clean. No response from the company yet. Beware. Don't hire. Additionally, they were late! read more

Maids and Moore have cleaned my apartment twice and did an excellent job both times. While the maids did not speak English, the workers at the office did and were able to help if needed. They also were able to use a phone app to translate. Everyone was friendly and respectful and did a great job cleaning my home. :) read more

I regret not checking more detailed reviews before booking this company, despite their 4-star rating and 700+ reviews. If you hire them and don't supervise closely, items **will** go missing. I'm not the first to report this. I had a 21k gold necklace and an SPF bottle in the same drawer, both now missing--worth over $1000. When I contacted the company, they claimed the cleaners denied taking anything and tried to blame two other helpers who were with me downstairs the entire time. The cleaning quality was mediocre at best, a 7/10. Additionally, the cleaner refused to use Google Translate and only spoke Spanish, despite my repeated attempts to communicate that we don't speak Spanish. She also complained to the other worker throughout the job. I will never use this service again--completely untrustworthy. read more

I called and no one returned my call. I called a second time and no one returned my call. I called a third time and no one returned my call. The fourth time was the charm. I made an appointment to meet one of their people at our home at 3 pm today. No one showed up. No one called. Maids & Moore has mastered the art of no customer service that characterizes too many Austin businesses. read more

The cleaners left coffee in the coffee maker, a vaper pen and didn't fold the clothes. When speaking to the owner she said they don't do these things. I got a bad review from my guest. In additon they turned off the AC switch and I didn't have any AC in the unit until we hired a contractor to come out and check into this. It's pretty upsetting that they didn't offer me a refund for how sloppy they did with their cleaning. read more

Original time for cleaning was 10 am, changed last minute the evening before to 8:30. Arrived at 8 am after saying via email they would arrive at 8:30. love arriving on time but 30minutes early doesn't work with little notice. While cleaning they broke our vanity. Said they would pay to fix it, then went all day without responding or following up. Took full payment for cleaning without any follow through regarding paying back for vanity. read more

I scheduled a deep cleaning for the new house, after moving in, and they did a great job. They arrived on time, took about 3 hours for a 2-floor 1400 sq foot house, and did a really good cleaning. There were two ladies who started on the first floor, then moved to the second floor. We had a case of water on the kitchen counter - they even put the waters in the fridge! They even cleaned the electric toothbrush holder. Everything just looked great, including the details. I emailed them to get a quote for what a recurring cleaning looks like, pricewise. For this deep cleaning, it was $387, including the add-on for the inside and outside of the fridge. The only negative thing I would say is they send way too many reminders. I got 2 emails and 2 texts (maybe I didn't click or unclick something to get reminders in both my email and phone). The first set was 2 days before, the second set of reminders was a day before. Then, that morning, I got 2 emails saying they were arriving within 30 minutes, which didn't help since I was still asleep. A phone call would've been better, to let me know they were 30 minutes away. They came right at 8 a.m. on a Saturday. read more

I had a party coming up and scheduled a deep clean for the day before. Holy smokes did they do an amazing job! They really went out of their way to make sure everything was absolutely spotless. Will definitely use them again! read more

Updated review: I response to the owners response..... You are lying! I spoke to numerous cleaning women in different cleaning days and they all said they were not getting any more money or a pay increase in the past months when I asked them if things are better now that they we're charging more for their services which I was happy to pay for thinking that they we're getting more but it was easy to conclude that the owner is being very dishonest when multiple people have said otherwise that work for the company. Again you are being dishonest and instead of addressing that and being nice about your delivery it's very telling how you handle this and how you value your customers. You obviously did not value my girlfriend and I's business. I am disappointed in how you chose to respond instead of just trying to do the right thing for your employees. read more

Maids and Moore have been doing a great job of cleaning our home for 13 or 14 years. Yolanda, who is very accommodating, has been keeping us organized and clean for at least 8 of those years. Presently her sweet helper is Elvira and the two of them work together well, understand our idiosyncrasies and leave us with exactly what we need - scrubbed and polished. read more

My boyfriend just moved into his first house and we wanted to make sure the house felt like it was brand spanking new (well ... as new as it can feel for being built in the 80s). We hired Maids and Moore for a move-in clean and carpet steaming (subcontracted) and HOLY MOLY - they did an unreal job. Minnie and Juanita were phenomenal and left the house feeling/looking/smelling so clean! They cleaned all of the appliances, base boards, ceiling fans, etc. Looking forward to having them back on a regular basis! Thank you thank you thank you!! read more

Absolutely thrilled about the clean! They tackled my dogs "rats nest" under the bed. Great communication with the staff. House is spotless. Plan on going on a monthly schedule. Recommend 100%. Our dogs were home kenneled. They are not upset or stressed when we got home. No detail missed!!!! read more

I had a deep cleaning done after we had some minor construction performed in the house. On first glance, I was very satisfied, but upon closer inspection, it was definitely not worth over $400. Some areas were still dusty and/or dirty. Also, I had included windows, and I know for sure that at least two of them had not been touched. I even checked back with the company about the windows and was told that "yes, madam," windows HAD been cleaned. Not the response I would have expected. I would definitely not use this company again. read more

Used them three times not and I always just feel so much better walking into the house afterwards. I try to keep things clean but I just can never get the floor and counters quite as clean as they can. I haven't used any other cleaners so I cant compare prices or time but I know I think its worth it for me to have them come every few months just to get the spots im not great at. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a crew for a move out/deep clean of my apartment and when I first walked in after they completed their service I was happy....then I went into my master bedroom. The closet door was broken and leaning against the wall. They also broke one of the blades off of my ceiling fan. They either took the broken parts with them or threw them away because they were not at the property. They also took or threw away cleaning supplies that I had left and 2 of my 4 stove covers. To make matters worse, they didn't have the decency to contact me to notify me of the damage they caused. I spent over $200 to have my apartment cleaned so I could get my security deposit back and now I'm going to end up losing my deposit AND owing for the damage they caused. I will never use them again nor recommend them. Edit: I was contacted by Roxie first thing this morning and she apologized that the crew didn't report the damage right away. She asked for my apartment manager's contact info and stated they would pay for the damage they caused. I've bumped my original rating because I was happy with the cleaning service and the fact that they are taking responsibility for the damages. read more

Yolanda and Elvira with Maids and Moore have been cleaning our home for years. They are an excellent team and I'm so happy to have them.

It's the third time I use their cleaning service. My house has 3122 sqfts, and they sent three maids to clean our house. Usually, there were only two people. The maids showed up on time, did a great job! Even beyond my expectation! Maids and Moore deserve a extra star for their service! I'll definitely use them again! Super recoomend!!! read more

I was really impressed with Maids and Moore. Their customer support is very responsive. I had a move out clean scheduled + disinfecting. The cleaning team did a wonderful job. Shocked at the negative reviews, but this can be remedied.... I've been using Maids and Moore for at least a year and I am very happy. I've gone through lots of maids who didn't clean, didn't show to their appointment, didn't respond well to feedback, but I've had a great experience with them. I'm almost never home when they arrive, so I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but when I get home, my house spotless and shiny. I love that they use a vinegar solution which is earth friendly and safe for the residents and animals of the house. They get my house house clean in 1.2 hours and the few times I've had issues and let them know, they've always made an effort to solve the problem. One time they left the trash on the front porch and another time they for got two of the bedrooms. They came back the next day to clean the bedrooms and Roxy was very apologetic. I would recommend them to friends. read more

I love the way my home smells after a good deep cleaning! This company is super easy to work with and very friendly!

We had Maids and Moore today and was thrilled with the job they did. Everything was spotless when they were done. They were pleasant and worked the entire time doing a deep cleaning. I love the products they used on my flooring, my house really smells and feels so clean! I am beyond happy with the service they provided. The details they actually focused on was really impressive. With previous service providers I've had to tell them to go back and clean places I felt were not up to par and with These ladies I did not!!! again beyond pleased!!! Thank you!!!!! read more

It was ok. Not the best. It took so long and I expected to house to be spotless but it was not. However, I liked that the maids took their time to pull the stove forward and cleaned behind it. There is definitely some weaknesses that need to be addressed but overall I think 3-4 star is a good score for what they have done. read more
