The staff was great to deal with in person and on the phone. The workers showed up and provided their own supplies and equipment. All surfaces needed to be wiped down, including blinds, fixtures, baseboards and floors vacuumed and washed. Also requested inside windows and bathrooms cleaned. Wow! Great job!!! Looked fabulous and didn't have that overpowering chemical smell that certain products leave. Clearly respected the surfaces in our home. Booking regular cleanings going forward! Thank you Kyle!! I think overall, the cleanings were mostly good, but it felt like there was always something and at some level I didn't really trust the owner Emma. The first time my apartment was cleaned, a lady showed up with what appeared to be two children who should have been in school. I didn't think much of it at first, but it later became apparent to me that the lady cleaning always brought at least one child with her. None of the children spoke English and the situation made me a little uncomfortable. At some point it came up in conversation and Emma insisted to me that this child was actually an employee and was there to clean my unit. She said she has a hard time finding a job because most employers do not believe she is 18, but that she was. Since she looked and acted like a child, this just strained credulity . . . When I first booked, I asked if she could just skip a large guest bathroom/bedroom and bill us for a two bedroom apartment instead of a three bedroom. I was told this was impossible because of her system and she had no choice but to charge me the higher rate. At some point it came up again that I was paying to have rooms cleaned that I didn't want cleaned and she told me if I paid her via Venmo rather than credit card she would continue cleaning all of the rooms, but at a lower price. I said this was fine, but then they stopped cleaning the extra rooms and told me this was what we agreed to. Fine, but it definitely wasn't what we agreed to. Finally, Emma told me rather abruptly that she could no longer clean my apartment. There was a story that involved someone hurting their back, someone else going to Mexico, and Emma being allergic to cats. It didn't really feel that believable and I can think of other reasons why she would do this, but in the end it felt like an 'ok' resolution since at some level I didn't trust her anymore because of all the stories she told me.

My home was built at the end of 2023 and was lived in for only one year and the left vacant for one year. I understand maybe accidentally overlooking one or two things. But this was beyond ridiculous. I shouldn't have to babysit people to do their jobs correctly. I just had BritLin over for the first time, I was totally impressed. I was a little apprehensive since they didn't have many Yelp reviews (which is why I'm leaving one now) - but they came recommended by another cleaning service that doesn't work in our area. Even though they're further away from us than the company that recommended them - they had no issues with the distance. Pam came over personally at the beginning of the appointment to see the house and meet me. They were able to fit me in on pretty short notice and were entirely flexible with what they could/would do, based on our family's needs. In addition, they're affordable, and convenient in terms of payment. They arrived exactly on time, and stuck to the budget. After they left, I could find absolutely nothing to be disappointed with. I went to get an estimate and book online, but after completing all the information and answering all of the questions, it errored out forcing me to email for a quote and to schedule. There were days of back and forth emails with complicated explanations about various shifts and workers arriving at different times. Nothing was easy about this process. I finally scheduled and was hoping the clean would redeem the booking process. The staff member arrived on time and was super friendly. It was clear she was working hard and wanted to do a good job. She did ask me for several supplies, which surprised me, as I hadn't experienced that before and wouldn't have anticipated. I had work meetings during the latter part of her cleaning. When I was done, I discovered that she had needed even more supplies, so had to call a family member to bring them and then had that person help finish up. This meant she let someone into my home when I was unaware and potentially not employed by the company. Very alarming. Afterwards, I inspected the work and found some of it was well done and other parts were not. She told me she couldn't do the shower because she didn't have the appropriate supplies. The floors were not done well at all and we had to go back and clean them ourselves. The owner followed up to ask how things went and if we'd like to schedule regular cleanings. I relayed our experience, asking if I should expect to provide supplies and if the shower would be handled at the next visit. I never heard from them again.
