Best cleaners EVER! Emma and her team are professional, punctual, polite and take pride in their work. I trust them with my home, my "treasures" and my pet. They use "clean" and organic supplies which they provide. They have cleaned my home for over 3 years now, and I have never had anything but a positive experience every time they come. Emma is smart and kind and will commit to finding the exact service that works best for you and your home. I highly recommend One Step Clean! read more

We used One Step Cleaning for a bit until they abruptly told us they could no longer clean for us because we had cats. I think overall, the cleanings were mostly good, but it felt like there was always something and at some level I didn't really trust the owner Emma. The first time my apartment was cleaned, a lady showed up with what appeared to be two children who should have been in school. I didn't think much of it at first, but it later became apparent to me that the lady cleaning always brought at least one child with her. None of the children spoke English and the situation made me a little uncomfortable. At some point it came up in conversation and Emma insisted to me that this child was actually an employee and was there to clean my unit. She said she has a hard time finding a job because most employers do not believe she is 18, but that she was. Since she looked and acted like a child, this just strained credulity . . . When I first booked, I asked if she could just skip a large guest bathroom/bedroom and bill us for a two bedroom apartment instead of a three bedroom. I was told this was impossible because of her system and she had no choice but to charge me the higher rate. At some point it came up again that I was paying to have rooms cleaned that I didn't want cleaned and she told me if I paid her via Venmo rather than credit card she would continue cleaning all of the rooms, but at a lower price. I said this was fine, but then they stopped cleaning the extra rooms and told me this was what we agreed to. Fine, but it definitely wasn't what we agreed to. Finally, Emma told me rather abruptly that she could no longer clean my apartment. There was a story that involved someone hurting their back, someone else going to Mexico, and Emma being allergic to cats. It didn't really feel that believable and I can think of other reasons why she would do this, but in the end it felt like an 'ok' resolution since at some level I didn't trust her anymore because of all the stories she told me. read more

Best Deep Clean I've ever had! Emma is so thorough and thoughtful about customizing your experience!

Emma and her team were amazing! Emma is super responsive and always communicates if any rescheduling is needed. And she never leaves me high and dry! Her cleaners are thorough and fast. Couldn't ask for better value. read more

Emma and her assistant were very helpful when my husband and I moved to our new rental house and it didn't feel thoroughly cleaned. She responded to my request right away and squeezed us into her weekend schedule the next day. It was helpful that she had all of her own products and her toilet paper designs after the bathrooms are cleaned are a cute touch! read more

Gloria and her team did a fantastic job on a move out clean of a 1930s bungalow. Every surface in the kitchen and bathroom shined. It felt like every speck of dust had been removed. Emma was also amazing in coordinating to fit me in their schedule. I would 100% book again for any deep cleans, and I trust their regular cleans are done at the same standard. read more

This week, I contacted Emma with one step clean about cleaning my two condos that I rent out to guests on Airbnb. She kindly responded right away with an estimate that was reasonable! Emma was super easy to talk to and she worked with me to set up a time that worked for my schedule. I have had the best experience with all the employees at One step clean and they are hard workers! The ladies assigned to my job arrived on time, were very friendly and got to work right away. I could tell they take their job seriously and really listened to me. My places turned out beautifully! I will use One step clean again in the near future and recommend them to my friends and family! Thank you! read more

I've been using One Step Clean since October 2023 after a very disappointing experience with a local chain cleaning company. The clean my 3 bed 2 bath house in about 2 hours. Emma (owner) reaches out to me regularly to make sure I don't have concerns and that I'm happy with the service her teams are providing. There's always at least one person who speaks English so I feel heard and understood and that my needs are met. I also appreciate that Emma sends me a reminder text a few days before my appointment and has been flexible when I've needed her to be. Also of note to me, I have a very old septic system that we are babying to get it to last longer and Emma & her teams have been understanding and respectful of that by using septic friendly products and we very much appreciate that. For these reasons we highly recommend Emma and One Step Clean. Thank you Emma, Eva and everyone else! read more

I've had other cleaning services before but was never fully happy. This is my 3rd one and it's a keeper. Like others said, Emma and her team are spot on with everything, fast, friendly and totally worth the price. read more

I highly recommend Emma and her team in AuStin! They met my high expectations with superior cleaning completion, thorough walk-thru, communication, reliability, and good pricing. They asked what the priority list was, and started from the room that needed cleaning the most, and worked down the priority. Before completion, they asked me if they met my expectations! Not only so, Emma stopped by to check on the team's progress in the middle of their cleaning, and also helped clean to expedite the progress. Emma takes her business very seriously with exceptional customer service. I am a meticulous person myself and the fact that they met my expectations says a lot about their work. :) Our house was extremely dusty with pet hair and dust from priming the house and our new paint job. Two ladies cleaned the whole house for deep cleaning within 4 hours! They're efficient, and very effective with quality work. I'm incredibly happy with the results. I highly recommend them if you live in Austin! I'm having them come back for monthly maintenance cleaning services. Thanks Emma and team! Love the work! read more

I cannot recommend One Step Clean enough. I have never hired a cleaning service so I was nervous about what I was about to get into. However, Emma made it a seamless process from the moment to booking my service online to the curtious follow-up text after her team cleaned my place. Exceptional service, professional and thorough are the top three words I would describe Emma and her team. Very detail-oriented and friendly too. She also provided cleaning tips on my stubborn bathroom caulk that I plan on using in the future! Big thanks for that! I thought I would only want to hire someone once as a treat to myself; however, I was so impressed with the job that I am moved to make this a part of my routine for keeping my home clean. Highly highly recommend One Step Clean!!! read more

One Step Clean is probably the most responsive and communicative cleaning service I've ever worked with! From the very beginning, the experience was super smooth: the website is well-designed, easy to navigate, and is very transparent about pricing which I really appreciated. From there, Emma called me with a free cleaning consultation to make sure all my needs were met. On the day of the clean, team Eva and Molly showed up and made my place sparkling clean -- EVEN THOUGH I had no power due to this recent ice storm! I was so appreciative of their flexibility and that they still showed up and did a thorough, speedy job. Would absolutely recommend One Step Clean for anyone looking for a friendly, effective, communicative cleaning service. read more

Wow! great and thorough. Emma is very responsive and thoughtful. She was flexible with her time. I scheduled the team for a deep clean. Emma talked through my priority areas and the price is super reasonable. When she and her team arrived (booties) she reconnected with me on the priority areas and they got to work. Her team was very detail oriented. After they finished Emma walked me back through to see if everything was to my liking and it was wonderful. After they left my husband and I kept saying wow, so clean! Thank you! read more

I reached out for an apartment move-out cleaning on Yelp with a quick turn around. I received responses from about six different services; however, Emma responded quickly and personally, asking all the right questions. Her prompt communication and ability to lock in the cleaning at a great price shortly after I made the request had me sold. Eva and Alissa showed up to clean the apartment not only on time but reached out and let me know they could arrive early (which really helped out). While I was not present during the entire cleaning, they got to work immediately and when I returned, the place was absolutely spotless. I highly recommend One Step Clean. I've never used them before but will definitely use them again! I hope they service my new area in NW Austin. :) Thank you Emma, Eva, and Alissa! You all did an amazing job!! read more

Emma and her crew did a great job cleaning my porches - a job that other services weren't even interested in doing! She made sure I had a realistic idea of how long the job would take (they needed a lot of cleaning!) and they stuck with it until things looked great. read more

We used One Step Clean for a move-out cleaning. In order to make sure we were on the same page and expectations were properly set, Emma stopped by for an in-home estimate and we were able to agree on a plan for the cleaning. They let me know when they were almost done so I could review the job and were happy to hit a couple of spots again when I asked. It was a big wow when entering the home and seeing how clean it was and how great it smelled! Emma has high standards and puts in the effort to make sure they are met and that everyone comes away happy. I wish I wasn't moving so her team could clean my next place. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed!! read more

Emma and her team are amazing! Stellar customer service from start to finish. The communication was on point and their service was efficient but also great quality. Emma went out of her way to make sure my specific needs were met, I had just hosted 12 people at my house and had a tons of sheets/towels/laundry that needed to be done. She spoke with me beforehand and let me know that to do every load would take too long (totally understandable) but that if it was washed and dried they would fold it and put it away and they'd also do one load of laundry for us as well. Emma herself came to the cleaning to help fold and ensure her and her team were able to complete the cleaning in a timely manner and make their next appointments. I will absolutely use their services in the future!! read more

I hate to leave a bad review; this is legitimately my first negative review after years on yelp, but I think it's necessary to leave. I just started my own airbnb business and had reached out to One Step Clean. When I reached out, I explained that I was not going to be physically at the home, but explained that the home needed to be cleaned and the comforter needed to be washed and changed before my guests arrived. One Step Clean responded quickly sent photos of the rooms when they were done so I had assumed that everything went well. I just got off the phone with my first guests who stayed there and they gave me the following feedback: - the home didn't feel very clean; there was dust in the corners of the home - the blinds were dirty -the comforter was dirty - worst of all the laundry room + the bedroom smelled like mold because wet towels had been left in the washing machine. the guests had to re-wash This is unacceptable. The blinds I can understand to some extent because it was not a deep clean. However, they left soaking wet towels in the washing machine, which made the entire unit smell like mold! I wish that I had a positive experience and review, but based on my recent experience, I would not recommend this company. read more

Totally exceeded our expectations. The oven was so dirty and we didn't have much expectations at all, but they cleaned it like brand new! Nice job cleaning everywhere else too, the carpet, floor, countertop, cabinets, shower and tub, etc. And very easy to work with as well. read more

I tried to find a company who can do my deep cleanings. Many companies listed on Yelp with high reviews mostly said - we are fully booked , or. Not taking new clients. OH OK! Guess Austin housing booms also helped many cleaning company boost up their business. Understood. She scheduled with her best available that meets my need and her price rice is super good! I will use her again for sure in the future. Thank you Emma !! read more

Britton and Emma are awesome to work with, they keep constant communication and are very professional. They responded quickly and were able to clean my apartment that I'm airbnb'ing within the next day. We have had ladies from One Step come clean our home monthly for the past 5 months. They are very thorough and efficient. Eva, Alissa and Emma have been personable and respectful when they come. The owner, Emma, and our cleaners were great! We've hired cleaners for the same job twice in the past and had those "horror story" results. (Among so many other things, the previous cleaners underestimated the time needed and didn't finish an entire room and even the "cleaned" rooms had a lot missed). Emma gave us a good time estimate and even worked with us to prioritize what we needed done since we were asking for the bottom of the time estimate, so that if more time was needed, at least the important things were cleaned and we could hire them for a follow up cleaning if needed. And very importantly, it was easy to communicate with both the owner and cleaners. Emma even called to talk so that she could let her cleaners know our needs/expectations. Another thing I loved was that the cleaners were proactive--when they were close to finishing, they had us check over the parts that were already cleaned for them to touch up if needed. Most cleaners wait until the very end, so if there was anything, it's kind of rushed/awkward because they're waiting on you to look around and they'd end up staying longer than you/they accounted for, etc. The only piece of constructive criticism is it seemed like the vacuum used wasn't very effective on the carpeting, but I'd gladly have them use our vacuum. read more
