This is amazing quality of work. The sparkle, the smell good, and the attention to details is on point. The professional staff blew me away - they arrived with a mission and everyone was fast to take action. I am blown away by the experience. read more

This is a very high-quality cleaning service. The young people were very pleasant and very professional. The house was immaculate when they were done. I am so glad to have the service available. I highly recommend it. read more

Carolina is the best, I had her once before and was thrilled to see her again. She and Cheyenne were the only figs cleaning today and they did a stellar job, checking in with me to be sure the beds were made as I like them (they were!) and going the extra mile on everything. The inside of the refrigerator was also cleaned to perfection, it hasn't looked this good in years. I so appreciate this team and hope to see them back in 2 weeks! Kudos and thank you!!! read more

Update: 12/5/23 - I'm updating this as the owner did reach out to us and refunded the cost of the initial clean. While I don't believe we will be using them moving forward I respect that they stand behind their work. Our former housekeeper moved so we recently had Purple Fig come in for an initial cleaning with the hopes of setting up a twice a month or bi-weekly service. We were quoted ~$280 per visit which was higher than our old housekeeper but seemed reasonable enough given they bring multiple people. They claimed the first clean was to bring things up to the "Purple Fig Standard" but when I got home after the cleaning I genuinely had trouble understanding what they did while in my home other than leave a candy cane on our kitchen counter. They don't do any laundry (even bed sheets/towels, not looking for a wash and fold service here) which is frustrating but I can somewhat understand given the time a laundry cycle takes. The most egregious offense was that they apparently also dont do any dishes . Again, i'm not asking for a post-Thanksgiving dinner cleanup here but we had a few pans and plates from last nights dinner in the sink and they didn't touch them. Overall, my wife and I struggled to understand what they really did to clean our home. When we decided not to continue with the bi-weekly service they then retroactively charged us $470 for the initial clean. For the price they charge not doing laundry or even tidying up the kitchen when there are a few dishes in the sink doesn't feel worth it. The best part of a cleaning service is coming home to a clean house that you can see and feel as soon as you walk through the door. With Purple Fig, I walked in to a house that felt like the cleaning service had to reschedule for another day read more

TL;DR - Highly recommend Purple Fig, worth every penny. We had a wonderful experience with Purple Fig - they cleaned our home right before Christmas and got everything in tip-top shape in time for houseguests to arrive. I was super impressed with how easy the onboarding process was - communication was fast, detalled, and I knew exactly what to expect the day of the cleaning. I loved that I received an alert when the team was on the way and their approximate arrival time - so helpful! Since I work from home, the team asked very considerate questions about which rooms to clean first, what would be the most convenient / least disruptive for me, etc. They were efficient, detailed, and I was blown away by the quality of the clean. And the best part - my home smelled AMAZING. I don't know what type of magic they infuse into their eco-friendly cleaning products, but I would like to buy it in bulk please! :). read more

Had a crew from Purple Fig out today for a cleaning. Kris, Jose, Madison, and Andres were excellent! The place was shiny, clean, and they did a really nice job of organizing the odds and ends I had lying around on my counter tops. Great job! read more

I will definitely use them again! Considering I have dogs, I know it's a TASK; they did above and beyond!

I'm updating my review since Amanda, the owner of Purple Fig is suddenly unwilling to publicly respond to a review, which I believe speaks volumes. I did however receive a private message from her (see photo). She felt the need to reiterate that I was not charged, as if I'm unaware of that from our emails and my review was some ploy to get out of paying. I am posting this experience publicly because I feel a duty as a consumer to warn others about what I went through so that they are not put in the same unfortunate position. As I said below, once I made it clear I was unsatisfied with the service the "customer satisfaction guarantee" was never mentioned by anyone at the company. It was all excuses about their "scope of work" that I had no way of knowing about, and dodging questions I raised (all email communications here: https://www.scribd.com/document/567684285/Purple-Fig-Eco-Cleaning-Documents ). It wasn't until I quoted their own website to them and made it clear that I did not think I should be paying for a cleaning that turned out to be a source of stress more than anything else, that they relented and agreed not to charge me. The lack of responsibility taken and curt tone of her message says all you need to know about this organization. read more

What wonderful people and they did such a wonderful job!! Everything was so professional and awesome, from the alert texts and follow ups to the communication during the clean and of course the high quality clean. My house looks amazing! I have gotten to talk with each person who has come to my house and genuinely liked each of them. Thank you Purple Fig!! read more

The Purple Fig is fantastic! They're always reliable, on time, and my place always feels like new when they are finished. I am happy about the Eco products they use - nothing too harsh. My fear was that they wouldn't be able to get everything clean in the amount of time they allotted - but I was wrong. They know their stuff and are very thorough each time they come around. read more

Attended an event here recently and was able to learn more about the eco-friendly products they use and how they make their own solutions. Would use this company for cleaning service in the future. read more

The Purple Fig Eco Cleaning - Catch 'en all - Home Cleaning Near Me - Austin, Texas

I was so excited to find an eco friendly cleaning company in Austin and I will say the cleanings are always done somewhat well. My issue is with their cancellation policy/postponing policy. My family came down with what we now know is covid. I texted them to ask to skip the cleaning yesterday, no response... then I called and they told me that they will have to charge me the full $300+ if I skip so I went through with the cleaning. We decided to adjust the cleaning to just the kitchen/main area and guest bath, so we could all rest in our rooms and I expected the cost to reflect that. I get an email from their 'Director of Customer Service' explaining their policy which that part is what it is but to add a cherry on top they tell me that they will not be adjusting the cost of the service which I find completely unacceptable. Normally they are here for a few hours but they were not here that long so the cost should not reflect a full cleaning. I am honestly shocked by the way that the 'Director of Customer Service' spoke to a client, and it is in fact not very honest to take money for a full service when the client specifically asked to not even have it in the first place. I would also like to add that they are comfortable with putting their employees in situations that could negatively impact their health because they have the ability to 'mask up', we all know that's not everything when it comes to combating covid. I have since put a hold on the payment until I receive the proper response form the company. Oh also hope they pay for their employees covid tests. read more

Purple Fig is hands down the most thorough, consistent and efficient cleaning company I've used. The customer service and staff are always kind and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

Is there such a thing as 6, 7, or 8 stars? How about 10? This company far exceeded my expectations. Everything went exactly as planned, they contacted me to let me know when they would be here on the day of service, and showed up on time. The team was so kind and got straight to work. My house is sparkling clean and I am absolutely thrilled with the service - they even left me a sweet note and some goodies, but most importantly, my house looks gorgeous! Thank you! read more

I like so much about their business model. The cleaners are wonderful, too. But TAKE NOTE that this business is going for a particular clientele. We were loyal customers since 2016, but recently they "broke up" with us because we only needed cleans once a month. As empty nesters who travel a lot, we couldn't justify doing more. I'm not sure how this is hard on their scheduling, but it is and we were told they no longer have a monthly service. However, if you can do weekly or twice a month, this is the company for you! read more

The service was excellent - I loved walking home to the smell of a spa - and the way they'd tidied everything, gotten the my bathtub + floors a degree cleaner than I'd ever seen them, and parted the blinds to let light in made me burst out singing "The hills are alivvvve" (for some reason.) Also appreciated the lil' note they left to tell me what they'd focused on :) read more

Just wanted to pass on a big thank you for maintaining the no-pressure, no fee cancellations for people with fevers! I texted on the morning of our clean on Nov 22nd, stating I was 99.8% sure it wasn't covid because we are both vaccinated, plus we'd had negative tests on the 15th... It WAS covid! We had breakthrough covid, which can have different symptoms. I am SO THANKFUL that y'all didn't come to clean and that everyone stayed safe! I love your service and love the way y'all protect your team! read more

Reliable, consistent and detail oriented... PF provides worry-free house cleaning services. I have had nothing but great customer service, friendly workers and prompt attention to requests for additional services. PF provides twice weekly cleaning for my downstairs house and allows me to add in the upstairs and outside pavillion as needed. They bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment. Best of all, they take pride in taking care of their employees and being environmentally conscious. All around, I recommend their services. read more

This company is fantastic! I was in need of a deep clean of my 2-1 condo and looking to set up a regular monthly cleaning going forward. What I love about PF is they doing use crazy chemicals and are very pet friendly. I have an older cat who is friendly but like most cats, freaks out around vacuum cleaners and such. All of my fears were laid to rest upon talking to a super friendly staff member (Lauren). Scheduling was easy via their website and I also had some very specific requests. For instance, I have some pretty bad ass custom made wooden counter tops that I've really particular about. I asked them not to touch those and to focus on other parts of the house. So, the Deep Eddy clean resulted in a spotless house and I look forward to having them back once a month. My cat was not freaked out when I came home and nothing seemed out of place or anything. My place looked like it was staged for a photo, and still does. I highly recommend if you are looking for a very good to great enviro-friendly cleaning service. read more

Have been using Purple Fig for a while now. They have consistent high quality, non toxic cleaning services. Highly recommended.

It's like having the personal relationship from hiring an individual house cleaner, but with all the perks and reliability of a company! Every employee who has cleaned my home does a great job, and they always find a little something extra to work on each time. Each time I don't think my house could be cleaner, I'm proven wrong! Not the cheapest in town, but you get so much for your money here, and they're always ready to work through any hiccups WITH you, not against you read more

Have had my home cleaned by Purple Fig several times now, and it's always been such a huge relief of stress to find every surface gleaming and the whole house smelling fresh. Their team is efficient, thorough, and very kind and gracious with questions/requests. They're in high demand so I had to wait a bit, but they're worth it! read more

Still loving the Purple Fig after being a client for over three years for their excellent service. I can't leave anything less than five stars based on their work. Updating my review to communicate that our price for the same cleaning was recently raised by almost 30%. I wholeheartedly understand the need for businesses to progressively raise prices to keep up with the cost of living in Austin. However, I've never before experienced such a dramatic one-time fee increase from a service provider. A gradual increase over the years would've been preferable and easier to stomach (especially during a pandemic). I think the Fig has probably outgrown smaller houses like ours and it's just not that profitable for them to clean our home. I understand from a business POV, but I do hope the owners take this feedback to heart and try to avoid rolling out such dramatic fee increases at one time in the future. read more

What a great cleaning company with fantastic customer service! I moved from California recently and had a hard time finding anyone who was reliable and dependable. Enter Purple Fig - they are both and then some! I loved walking into the smell of peppermint throughout my home. Everything was tidy and clean. I will happily recommend them to friends & family. read more

I have never had my house or rooms cleaned however with the yelp deal and bit of exhaustion I decided to give it a go. Let me just say unless you get a groupon or yelp deal this is not worth what they charge on a regular basis. (Although I hope the high rate is due to the quality of how they pay their employees etc. like the website states) I was hoping at a rate of 45 per person/per hour that would mean a pretty awesome cleaning. Not really. No complaint about the cleaner he was nice and seemed to be working hard but he's came from another job 30 min later and I think it took a semi rushed toll on my cleaning considering I needed the cleaning to be done when I had scheduled it. bottom line, was fine for what I paid for including the deal but was certainly not impressed. ----UPDATE---- Two star improvement based on the backing of company's satisfaction guarantee and owners dedication to communication and customer service. Received warm and apologetic message from owner via Yelp, she kindly explained why the cleaner was running late. If you're experience didn't meet the standard they claim Purple Fig will find a way to make up for it and I look forward to one day using their services again. read more

I had two consecutive weekends of in-laws and parents visiting so I figured I needed a little extra cleaning help to be ready for them. I have never hired someone to help clean up the mess I made myself. Amanda was good about returning my phone call of interest, even though she didn't call after I first filled out online requesting more info. So we came up with a date and time for Purple Fig to come clean. When that time came, they never showed up. When my call was returned that afternoon she apologized and said her cleaner got sick on the drive over, but my problem is that NO ONE called me. So, my husband and I cleaned up our mess, ourselves. That is what I'm supposed to do anyway. Added later: I bumped them up a star b'c the owner e-mail a week later and offered a free clean of my house. I'll stick with cleaning up my own mess though. read more

I just moved into a new home and was looking for a cleaning service. Shopped around and Purple Fig stuck out to me, seemed independently run and not large scale corporate. To me, stand alone businesses pay attention to detail with their customers and their employees, plus they're environmentally friendly, a plus for me. They did a great job for my home, I've signed on as a monthly member. I'm recommending to my friends. read more

Amazing! I own a massage therapy practice where we've always had someone to do a deep clean once a week. A couple months ago though, our regular cleaner's schedule changed and she couldn't come outside business hours any longer. This left me on the prowl for another comparably priced cleaner. As usual, I turned to the Twitter-sphere for some recommendations and The Purple Fig was at the top of lists! I called, they agreed to clean once a week at 6am before we open, and we were set up! The thing is, dust is mostly skin cells. (Fun elementary school trivia, right?) Well, we deal with a LOT of skin cells when we're doing 100+ massages a week. So dust has always been an issue. At the top of my list for what I want in a cleaning service? VERY GOOD DUSTING! I must say, my expectations were met. We used to have to dust daily in addition to our weekly cleaning but now we're mostly just spot dusting every other day or so. The real selling point though? Every month I change out our air filters. They're usually gross and icky and...dusty. But for the past 2 months they've come out looking almost completely brand new! I'm sold. Wait, is it inappropriate to add how handsome our cleaner, Stefen, is? Because he's pretty handsome. read more

Charlene has been excellent to work with as I started using their service 2 months ago. I wanted some very specific cleaning because I knew there were still things I could do myself. Her team showed up on-time, walked thru the house with me explaining how they would clean. The demonstrated that they clearly knew how to clean "fine surfaces." After the first cleaning, the team even pointed out some issues they noticed---like a leaky pedestal sink (that I had never seen)! This is the type of attention that is hard to find and nice when you do. It's a bonus that they also do green cleaning. I think they are just getting started. I'm going to support them as long as I get this kind of service because they are trying to make a go of it and have clearly demonstrated that they want to help me. You don't find that with all services like this. read more

We were so happy and pleased with how our place looked after the clean! We especially loved the essential oil scents and how clean our hair-magnet couch was! Communication was clear and prompt. They were very attentive to all requests and upfront about cost and options. The price was a little higher than other quotes but the company uses eco-friendly products and pays employees a living wage. The attention to detail was amazing -- we would highly recommend the purple fig for any cleaning needs. read more

I received a booking request confirmation from Purple Fig which stated that someone from their "amazing office staff" would get back to me the "same (business) day". It's been two full business days, and I've not heard from anyone at Purple Fig. This isn't consistent with their claim to be "amazing", and somehow - in a week where we all gained an hour because of the seasonal time change - Purple Fig has turned a standard eight hour business day in to an indefinite black hole. I would have appreciated the courtesy of a reply, even to say they're too busy. I'm glad I experienced their NOT amazing office staff before I let them in to my home. read more

Do not hire. I now see why they were the only company available on short notice. These guys did a terrible job. All 5 of them. They tried to slip out without finishing and then couldn't accomplish the simple services they had offered when the failures were pointed out. They could not clean a fridge or blinds or baseboards properly. They left dust bunnies everywhere. When management was made aware they responded with excuses for half of the issues and would not respond to the other half. You should hire professionals not a bunch of lazy hipsters. read more

Oregano and lavender?! Be still my heart! I bought some of this cleaning company's cleaner at the mueller farmers market. It smells incredible (way better than the other natural cleaners out there) and cleans everything up with no problem. They have a bunch of other interesting and and lovely scents as well. I bought it and then was actually excited to go home and clean for once! It made my house smell so pretty. :) Go get you some! read more

What a great company! Their customer service is impeccable and theyir team is just so extremely nice! I was worried about a quote and they sent someone out to our place to give a very specific quote, which was really nice. They respond promptly and are very good at finding solutions. Oh, and the cleaning was amazing! My roommate used to manage the cleaning team at a hotel, so she can be very particular with her standards, and they met them all! We asked for special attention to one part of the house and they were really careful about it. Couldn't be more pleased read more

I've been using Purple Fig for bi-weekly cleanings for about 2 months now. Having a clean home is really important to me and I just don't have the time to get to everything myself, so I decided to look around. When I called Purple Fig, I really appreciated that someone (not a call center) answered the call. Her name was Charlene and she walked me through whole process-- she even came out to the house to take a look around and talk with me about my priorities. I like Purple Fig because they don't use harsh chemicals and they give their employees health insurance. It's also nice to be able to communicate in English with them when you're trying to let them know little details about how certain things need to be cleaned. I'm kinda of anal about certain things. (dirty baseboards, dusty ceiling fans, smudges on the walls, etc...) They also didn't charge the outrageous first-time cleaning rates that a lot of places wanted to charge and actually came out on the less-expensive side of the spectrum. read more
