Cleaners showed up on time. They seemed a little irritated about having to clean the oven when they arrived - I asked for a complete deep clean up front. Maybe it wasn't communicated. Another odd thing was that they rearranged objects in my kids' room. This was unexpected and led to some items being misplaced. They also threw away my kids' toothbrushes and toothpaste. Kind of annoying since it was all new less than two weeks ago. The house, on the other hand, is clean. So job done. But I'm not digging the rearrangement and tossing of health care items. read more

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I paid for a move out cleaning and carpet cleaning and it was not up to par. Baseboards not cleaned, kitchen counters and cabinets not wiped or cleaned. Window sills not cleaned. Laundry room wasn't even touched. Corners of walls not dusted. I had to go in behind them to clean for an hour. They came back once to fix what was missed and those areas still were not cleaned right. I asked for a discount due to the missed areas and she offered $58 off, completely unsatisfactory. Then after some back and forth emails, she finally offered $100 off. She called me a "liar" and accused me of trying to get the cleaning for free. I had never stated I would not pay, but I felt I had every right to ask for an itemized list of services I should have received and for a discount due to all of the missed areas. I have never booked a cleaning service before, but did a fair amount of shopping before picking the company who was going to do our move out clean. Tidy Flamingo seemed super professional and reliable, and that's what we were after. I'm happy to report that they were all of the above, and did a great job on the cleaning! There was an emergency situation with the employee that was supposed to clean our house, so I think the owner herself did it. That spoke volumes to me. She brought a special tool to help clean our grout (which sorely needed it) and the results wowed us. Our grout needed a touch up, and get this ... they offered to caulk it for us at no charge. We didn't have the material on hand, but how above and beyond to offer that? They had to stay late and they didn't charge us more than initially quoted. She asked if we wanted to come check it out before she left, which was so extremely nice. We were very satisfied with the job they did. I don't use cleaning services often, but now I'm tempted to. We needed a really good deep clean in order to show our house, and Tidy Flamingo definitely had the best price. The cleaners stayed for 3 hours, and honestly did a good job. There were things like the baseboards, and ceiling fan that weren't done which was unfortunate BUT everything else was perfect. Our oven has literally never been so clean. For a deep clean when we move out, we'll probably go with someone else as it lacked a really close attention to detail, but for a house cleaning, it was amazing. read more

I chose Tidy Flamingo over another service based on price. That was a mistake. You get what you pay for. Making the appt by phone was easy, if a bit brusque. Three people arrived at the scheduled time. (I didn't realize it, because I'd been in meetings all day, but their supervisor had been calling trying to arrange an earlier time; evidently they had somewhere else to be, and it showed as they rushed through as quickly as possible.) Nevertheless the house was cleaned fairly well, though I did have to point out just as they were leaving that the master bath shower had not been cleaned. A couple of things were left in odd places, such as a Bluetooth speaker I keep in the bathroom that ended up in the bedroom. But the worst of it was that they broke -- actually, shattered -- a large ceramic piece that I've cherished for 30 years and that has survived children, pets, and three cross-country moves. I know it was an accident, but it was also a hell of a first impression. read more

Please do not waste your time with their service. We keep a clean house but wanted to have a deep clean (refrigerator, baseboards, oven) done before my wife went into labor. The cleaners arrived at 8:30 am and were gone by 10:15 am. In preparation for them to get here, we emptied the fridge. However, the inside of the refrigerator had not been touched, the baseboards were still dirty, and the shower had not been cleaned. The two stars come from being easy to schedule, the oven was very clean, and they showed up on time. The service cost $220, and it was not worth this amount. The owner did give us $50 off after we expressed our concern, but $170 was still entirely too much considering we had to continue to clean for an hour after they left, including re-vacuuming the entire house and wiping down kitchen counters and table. read more

This company is probably one of the worst scams there is. They charged us $399 for deep clean back in January, for a house that we were selling. After the service, we went back to the house, and it was not cleaned at all. The rooms are still very dusty and dirty. There are many dirt that the vacuum will still pickup. Kitchen was still very dusty, and floor still has some stains that could have been cleaned out had they did floor polishing. The counters were not wiped at all. They also removed the tag of the dishwasher, and tried to glue them in. The bathroom were not touched, soaps and shampoo still on the shower and bathtub, and they used one of the bathrooms without flushing. We told them two computer tables need to be removed. They left them inside the house, and instead took three crates and a rack from the pantry, as well as other stuff, including a remote for ceiling fan and a pool card, that we left for the new homeowners. Then they left the remaining trash in the backyard. After we complained to our Realtor and this cleaning service was notified, they did not do anything to make things right, and took our money. Edit: My response to the below comment. 1) We agreed to pay you $399 for which you said it will be Deep Cleaning package-whole house. You did nothing to clean the house, and instead took stuff that you are not supposed to, except the trash. The house was empty and if you have the intent to have it cleaned even to the slightest, there should have been at least a small area that was cleaned. It is not my responsibility to explain to your cleaners which area to clean. We paid the most expensive package for the whole house. 2) Our Realtor communicated with you right away about all of the issues. She said she requested for you to come back, and clean the house. We hoped you would do the right thing. You did not, and we heard nothing from you. You are making it sound like it was our fault that we got this extreme crappy service from you. Way to go. We hired you trusting you will do at least a decent job in cleaning the house, because the new owner has a baby, and we want them to move-in to a clean house. You did not clean the house, left the trash, and took some stuff for the new owners. read more

I typically don't do reviews but I felt like I really Needed to with this company. First off let me start by saying I paid a good amount of money for a deep clean on a new house. With that being said I fully expected a "deep clean". I was left with about an hour of work after I paid the girls to come.. in order to really feel like the house got deep cleaning. The dish washer was full, the sink was full, even the counter was a mess. This was blamed on "Covid".. I was told the baseboards would be cleaned and when I addressed it they said it was wear and tear.. most def not since the house is 4 months old and it wiped down pretty quickly for me. The master bathroom was only wiped down quickly and for 450 i def didn't get what I paid for. I did like the quick responses and it was partially my fault hence the three stars as I didn't have the time to review the house before they left, however I feel for that money I shouldn't have to point out what wasn't done. :( read more

Ease of contacting and receiving an estimate was great. I scheduled a deep clean and 4 cat trees to be vacuumed, Monday at 9am. Monday 9am rolled around and no one arrived. I waited 45mins until calling, she advised she would look into it. I received a text saying there was a mix up with 2 clients with the same name. No problem....mistakes happen, rescheduled to Tuesday 10am. Tuesday at 4am I sent a text to reschedule since our flights were delayed (long story with Southwest), but the person was very accommodating and rescheduled us to Thursday between 12-1pm. 2 young girls arrived just after 12pm and started cleaning while I did some gardening. After less than 2 hours they were done, I said "that was quick", they smiled and left. When walking around closing windows and blinds I noticed none of the cat trees had been vacuumed, I also noticed no "clean smell". I went to each room - baseboards weren't wiped, kitchen appliances not dusted, mantle dusty along with some shelves, the laundry hadn't been touched (where the kitty litter lives, it was very noticeable), light fixtures dusty, trash cans not wiped down, kitchen cabinets and linen closet doors not wiped, there were pinkish stains on the edges of the shower screen, cat food spots on the kitchen floor, the carpet in my bedroom didn't have the "just vacuumed stripe", cat hair tumbleweeds were under couches, dining table and trash can foot pedals. I think there was a miscommunication and the girls did a regular clean instead of a deep clean. I took photos and sent an email to the business owner, explaining I was happy to pay for a regular clean. I received a text to pay $419 - I copied the email and sent via text, along with photos, reiterating that I would pay for a regular clean, since the deep clean was not performed. She wanted to send the crew back to finish, but since it was the evening and I was expecting my husband home from work, it was not convenient for me to have them back. I also work and had no availability until the next Thursday. I wanted to pay the regular clean rate and be done with the company - she then wanted me to pay $359 for the deep clean she claims was completed. I googled the standard cleaning rate for the size of my home, $90/hr - I venmo'd $200. I did try to call, the phone rang out (on the same number I was texting). We texted back and forth some more, but the communication was coming across as rude and heated (which happens with text messaging), so I wanted to speak with her to avoid this getting out of control. I tried calling again, she answered and let me speak. Her excuse was "we are only human and make mistakes". It was clearly not a deep clean that was performed. I really didn't want people back in my home and was happy to pay for a regular clean and move on, but she was extremely insistent and would not let up on needing to come back to clean. I agreed on Saturday and she confirmed 9am. I rearranged my schedule, cancelled appointments and freed up my morning. 12.00pm rolls around and no one had arrived - I left the house since I had appointments to keep. At 12.33pm I received a text saying the cleaning crew was at my door, they had an issue with their car. She then wanted to reschedule. Again, I am happy to pay for 2hrs of regular rate cleaning (of which I have paid $200) and not be further inconvenienced by this company. read more

We hired them to do a move-out cleaning we didn't have the energy to do. Although they showed up a little late, they did a spectacular job! What sold me on them was the job was one price from start to finish - not time dependent. They took over 4 hours to lick that place clean! We aren't dirty people and had cleaned a lot before hiring them, but they really took it to another level! Bety, the owner, stayed in touch throughout and didn't request payment until we had inspected it and were 100% pleased. The only thing missed were the inside windows, and she was on the phone sending them back to complete that, but I declined. They honestly did a beautiful job and I highly recommend them. read more

At first, I wasn't convince because I am extremely picky when it comes to cleaning the house (I never had cleaning services and I like things a certain way). However, After 3 services I found the crew that I like and they clean everything the way I like it. I would say that you give them a chance to clean your home and if you see something say something. They said they could only take cash which was not explained to me through our texts. The homeowner is having to redo many of the windows after returning home. There were only 8 windows and 2 sliders. Not really that many, but they were late arriving (said due to traffic -- almost an hour late), so I suspect they wanted to get home at the end of the day. read more

They were very responsive and the only ones who came by my house to take a look to understand what needed cleaning before providing a quote. Their quote was competitive and honestly seem way too reasonable to me. Ours was a post-construction clean and they cleaned EVERY surface from the floors to the new countertops, to the appliance, windows and patio doors and even inside the cabinets. Even the walls. Every single surface. I was honestly blown away by how detailed they were. They spent more than the 4 hours they estimated and without additional cost than what I was originally quoted. They did a decent job cleaning, but the communication was horrible and very frustrating. I first received a quote for a "deep cleaning" for our main house 1650sqft and guest house 700sqft. I thought it was high (at least for me) so I opted for a second quote just to do our main house. I accepted and it was scheduled for 12:30. Then I get a message that they're coming at 8:30, OK fine. Nobody showed so I called. I was told they were coming at 12:30. This was a problem because I had 3 zoom meetings scheduled and I wanted to greet them and this made it very frustrating as I had to rearrange meetings based on their confusing communication. I paid the agreed price and the following day they were asking full payment for the original quote which they didn't do the work. If you opt to use them save all communications so you can use for reference later. read more

I needed a rather urgent move out clean after another provider cancelled on me. They were extremely friendly and were able to accommodate my tight schedule and last minute request. The clean was super thorough and I was so impressed with the way the home looked after they were done. (I had been in the home 3.5 years and the main issue was animal hair and dust along with hard water stains). I've never seen that house that clean except for the day I closed on it as a new build. I should have paid closer attention to Brandon's review below. Huge disappointment. I scheduled a deep clean before the holidays. I was promised 2 maids on the Monday at 12:30. By 1pm, no one showed up so I called and it turns out they were running late. I was told they would come at 3:30pm instead - that's 3 hours later. Fine. By 3:34pm I get a text telling me that they had to re-schedule to the following day. Fine. Following day, we get a knock on the door. They sent one maid and not the 2 we were promised. I already knew the one maid was not being set up for success if she was by herself cleaning the whole house in the allocated time....So I reached out to Tidy Flamingo and asked them for 2 maids as we were promised. They told me they could only send one and this was decided by the "logistics" team. Fine. 3 hours later, the maid left. We had to call her back to address a couple of details that were missed. She had an excuse for each as to why she could not clean it, leaving us to clean up afterwards. It was only after she left that we realized that the baseboards, interior windows and ceiling fans and blinds were never touched. This was not the deep clean we were promised and for sure not worth $250!!! I reached out to Flamingo about our disappointment but they never replied back....
