The most unprofessional, horrific customer service I've ever experienced especially for the price they charge. Let's start by discussing how I was quoted $85 for 3 hours, and they would send two cleaners to clean my 1200 sq. foot apartment. The days leading up to the service, the manager would call at the oddest hours, ask for times he could call when I was available then would never call at those times when saying they would. The day of the service, they even threatened to cancel because I hadn't answered questions they never bothered to ask. The only question they even had was how they were going to answer which in my opinion didn't require a call but hey. When the cleaners arrived, I then get another call telling me that since they sent 3 cleaners without my consent, the rate would be $110 an hour, but the overall cost would be lower since more people were working. I should've sent the cleaners home then but they had already started cleaning. The actual cleaners were very thorough and nice, however the service took closer to 3 hours despite the rep's reassurance it would take a less time and the final quote was $320. I pushed back on this since it was $65 more than was quoted, and I never requested additional cleaners to begin with. Then the rep argued that my 1200 sq. foot apartment (with a large closet they didn't even touch by the way) that's deep cleaned professionally ever two weeks and standard cleaned every week would somehow take two able bodied adults 4 hours to clean. I live with another adult and it has never taken us an entire Gone with the Wind showing to clean our house nor any other cleaning service we've ever hired. He assured me his manager would reach out on Wednesday, but no one called me back until Saturday. I returned their calls right away but never got an answer but saw a charge for $167 on the debit card I used. The card wasn't fully funded as it is for recurrent purchases, and the we had never actually settled on a price for them even to charge me. I played phone tag with whoever had the phone until Monday morning when I saw a duplicate charge for another $167 went through which exceeded even the inflated quote the rep charged me. When I questioned someone who identified me as the owner, she was yelling at me about not returning her calls (I did), and engaged me in a screaming and cursing match where she went on a narcissistic rant about being a lawyer. Um, what does that have to do with you inflating the price, not calling me back as you were supposed to do, then charging my card without even settling on a price or sending a receipt/invoice for the service to justify the third new price? I ended the call after the owner declined my offer to pay the rest of the service after I received a receipt. She proceeded to call me, text me, leave an angry voicemail, so I blocked her number. She then proceeds to text me ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER after she figured out she was blocked. In my opinion, this is harassment at this point. I already ended the call and made it apparent I had no interest in speaking with her since she said she would refund me and declined my offer to pay for the service in full, so she would just leave me alone. In this new message, she accused me of being uneducated even though she was the one who misunderstood when I was offering to pay the difference, I was offering to pay the total cost minus what I was already changed. Thank you, again, Enviromaids! I have cancer and am going through chemotherapy. I always think I can do more than I actually can. Not once, but twice, Lupita Foster with Enviromaids has come to my rescue by sending out an amazing team of two. Enviromaids cleaning is very thorough. They 'leave no stone unturned' ... so to speak! It is essential that my home be chemical-free and toxin-free as the chemotherapy seems to have affected my respiratory system especially. There are also things that I am just not able to do due to weakness. These women are always willing to lend a hand. They were great! Showed up when scheduled, cleaned everything perfectly and they were very friendly.

Very unprofessional. We called on Monday to have them out for a trial. The woman answered the phone with a simple "Hello" as if I were calling her personal cell phone. She seemed confused at my request to schedule a cleaning and immediately transferred me to another woman. The second woman became frustrated when she realized I was going to be a new client and transferred me back to the initial woman, who apparently deals with new clients. When I asked if they were typically this confused, she followed up with a terse response implying I was the one who was the problem. I shouldn't have scheduled with them, but I thought since they seem to have a lot of positive reviews, maybe they were just having an off day. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 10AM. At 10:15 AM, I called to ask the location of my cleaning team. Same confusion as the first call and same transfer to the second woman, who quickly told me that if I would stop talking, she would explain. Rude. She said the maids had already been to my house where a man who had not requested their services answered. Even though they obviously had the wrong address, they did not feel the need to call my contact number to ensure they had the right location and returned to the office. Update in regards to Maria's reply: It was never explained to me that $140 was a monthly service because I never asked for nor received monthly service quotes. All of the services I received from Environments were always deep clean and always several months apart. I'm uncertain why she is stating the facts incorrectly, perhaps she has me confused with another customer, not sure what else to say. Original Review: ----- I have been a customer of Enviromaids for a while now. Over the last few years, the price has been constant at about $140 for 2,000 square feet every 4-6 months. This was a great price and what made it better is that the service I received was always excellent. However, thanks to my most recent experience, I am going to choose to no longer do business with them. In the past, they had always sent 3-4 maids to clean the house, and it would take them a 2-3 hours pretty consistently for a deep clean. This last time, they only sent two maids so it obviously took a significantly longer period of time. This compounded by the fact that the maids arrived over an hour late screwed up their schedule for the balance of the day. Nevertheless, I was thankful for their hard work and great job so I tipped both maids $20 each, or about 30% if you split the cost of the service between the two. A few days later I received a call from an irate Lupita telling me she was going to charge me $180, not the $140 she had charged me about a half dozen times before for the same service,because it took so long. I told her that it took longer than usual because there were only two maids, and I let her know that since I was so happy with Enviromaids that I would be more than willing to pay the new rate in the future but there was absolutely no way she could change the price after I had already received the service. This upset her greatly and ranted quite a bit, lecturing me on how businesses worked, how she knew I had money and how she could not possibly keep track of her "more than 200" customers. I stayed calm throughout the process and just repeated that I would gladly pay more in the future, but she could NOT change the price on me after service was rendered for an agreed upon price. I also explained to her that it was not my fault that nor would I pay the penalty for her inability to organize her business or efficiently schedule her employees. The conversation ended abruptly with her hanging up on me. I should probably preface this by saying that I hired Enviromaids during one of their busiest times of the year - College move-out. It should also be said that the cleaning was very very well done, they even scraped our ceiling vents clean! However, I simply cannot ignore the terrible customer service during the whole ordeal. And it WAS an ordeal. So - a week and a half before I need my apartment cleaned, I contact Enviromaids. They say 'Send us an email with your info and we'll get back to you!'. So, I do, but don't receive a reply for three days. At this point, I called, thinking 'Oh, they're just busy!' Lupita was very sweet over the phone and we arranged the time and day of cleaning - 2 p.m. on the 31st and they would call me 30 minutes before they would come over to clean. Well.... 2 p.m. on the 31st comes around. Then 3... then 4.... They finally show up at 5:30 (!!!!) At this point I've left at least 4 voicemails on both of their contact numbers and sent a text message. No response, and I was absolutely freaking out because I NEEDED the apartment cleaned by the end of the day with a receipt in my hand for my landlord. When the team was done (again, great cleaning job, poor customer service), they had NO IDEA what to charge me! No idea!!!! What the heck?? They called their boss and she said I should have received an email from them with this info - First off, a quote is a quote and it's bound to change in price at the end of the service. Second, Lupita said she also had no idea what to charge me... -_- (This also meant I did NOT get a receipt on time for my landlord, which I had emphasized over the phone in arranging the date for the service.) SO. The next day (the 1st) I call them up at 9 a.m., reminding them that 'Hey! I really want to pay you guys so I can get my receipt and be done with this, please.' After explaining this over and over again 3 or 4 times over a period of FIVE HOURS, she finally got the message and sent someone over to collect my check. (When I had also said I would be very happy to go meet them wherever it was most convenient so I could finish this ASAP...) I then, again, emphasized that I needed a receipt as soon as possible and it was promised to me that I would receive an email within the next hour. Of course... No email until 4 p.m. the next day. At least I even got I receipt, albeit very, very late. To top this whole fiasco off, however, on Friday the 3rd (Now three whole days since the cleaning was performed) I received a call asking me if 'We had come to your house to clean or not because we got some voicemails from you on Tuesday'. Seriously. what is this. TL;DR: If you're a college student and you need a move-out cleaning done, go with someone else. Please. This was incredibly stressful for me and I've NEVER dealt with this kind of crap before. read more

OMG. I can eat off my floor. And I mean the corner of my bathroom floor. We've hired Enviromaids three times now and am so, so impressed with their work. They are a SWAT team that comes in and gets the job done right. The first time they cleaned our house they stayed until every nook and cranny and floorboard and hard-to-reach-shelves were spotless. I used Enviromaids for a bi-weekly home cleaning for a couple of months. It was amazing how many times they managed to mess things up. Granted, I was in a situation where I needed to know a rough time they were coming for scheduling purposes and this was just too much for them. If you have flexibility in time, it might not be such a problem. Each day they were to come and clean, I had to contact the office, and spend at least a half hour on the phone. Two times they were late, once they came a couple of hours early, and when I asked them to come back at the previously scheduled time, they had told the manager that I told them I didn't want our home cleaned, and the other time they came 5 hours after the time I had confirmed with the manager just the day before. I left a key for them to take with them (so I wouldn't have to stay home and wait for them each time). Twice they didn't take the key because the manager had not communicated for them to do so. Basically, The good: Staff is friendly, they are relatively cheap compared to a lot of cleaning services, they do a good job cleaning The bad: EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED, unreliable with scheduling, different cleaning crews every time. read more

They did a great job for under $200. I set up another service since we moved all of our stuff out of the house to put on the market and she was able to get me an appt that next week. She is a sweet lady, hard working, and very trust worthy. She may not text or call you right away due to her busy schedule but she will make sure to contact you asap. I called Enviromaids for a move-in clean, as the place I just moved into had been vacant for two years and hadn't had a thorough cleaning since then. I called on a Tuesday and asked if they could fit me in on Thursday; Lupita said she would call me before a team came over so I could meet them to let them in. By 3pm I hadn't heard from her and I was worried, so I gave her a call. She sent three people over immediately! For the price she quoted, I was astounded at the level of work. They were there at least three hours, and the whole place looked amazing when I came by that evening to drop some things off before the movers came the next morning. I would definitely hire them again. I am only subtracting the one star because I think I would have been forgotten had I not given Lupita a call to remind her about my service. read more

I had 2 issues with Enviromaids. First, I had trouble getting Enviromaids to actually make it to my rental property to clean it. I had a set date scheduled and confirmed by them. Several days passed and I didn't hear anything back so I called. They acknowledged that they had confirmed the cleaning but kept saying there was a "miscommunication" insteady of actually admitting that my cleaning got missed. We set another date and they missed that too. They finally made it out there; to their credit, they gave me a $20 discount for the cleaning. Second, the cleaning was average at best. It was obvious that it was a rushed job and dust/dirt still remained on the ceiling fans, bath tubs, etc. I ended up having my own cleaning person come by to touch it up. read more

I had a very good experience with Enviromaids. I called them in a bind and they came through with flying colors. I asked if they could come today, Lupita told me she had an opening the next day. I said I'd call her back, she asked what she could to get my business, I said I needed it done today. She made it work! She called a client to check if she was willing to swap to the next day. I had asked all around town, she was the most responsive and did everything she could to fit me in. They sent three cleaners for a good price and they did an excellent job cleaning. Now for the best part, I had a late afternoon slot, after about an hour and a half of cleaning the cleaning manager said she was going to call in more people to help get the job done faster, so they could leave our home at a decent time. Hired for an initial clean and was going to get a bi weekly cleaning from them after. The first clean they didn't do some of the things they said they would do. I brought it up to the person I was dealing with and they said they strive for 100% customer satisfaction so they'll have the cleaners come back at no charge to do what was missed. They did an incredible job cleaning up over a years worth of build up at my parent's house while being respectful of the fact that both my parents were ill so the women gave them space and worked around them so my parents didn't need to keep moving around. They mopped the floors last so I couldn't really go check all the rooms before they left and I would have asked for a couple things to be fixed but nothing too big of a deal. The owner was friendly and knocked off a bit of the cost since one of the women was 20 minutes late. She talked with me on the phone before the women left and said she'd call me back to discuss future scheduling but I haven't heard back since this past Tuesday morning, not a big deal, I'll call her soon if I don't here back. read more

We realized last minute the day before we moved out that our lease required a professional deep clean, so we scrambled to find a cleaning service that wasn't booked up for the weekend. It was what I think is the most popular moving weekend of the year (end of July/beginning of August), so several places we called were booked. Enviromaids squeezed us in last minute, even though they had already had a long day. I appreciate their flexibility with that, and they did a great job. They did arrive late, but like I said they worked to squeeze us in last minute. So just have a flexible window of availability. They also allowed us to work alongside of them (even using their tools!) in order to help us keep costs down. They coached us what to do and how to do it. I loved that. read more

As I write this, Lupita's crack team is finishing with a first cleaning of our house. I am amazed. Every surface, nook, cranny, and floor is spotless. The place feels airier and more spacious. It is like IKEA, or a major movie studio, came in and made an exact replica of our interiors, then added light and order and shine. I cannot recommend Enviromaids more highly. They are reasonable, professional, and reflect Lupita's passion for doing fiercely good work. WOW!! We just had our house cleaned by Enviromaids (the initial clean before we begin to have them come bi-monthly), and they were AWESOME! Four nice ladies came, and cleaned things I would not have thought to clean. They had a ladder that they used in every room--they even cleaned the walls, and fans, actually took things off of shelves to clean underneath them, and took a brush to the base of the windows. I can't think of a single aspect of our house that didn't get a full cleaning. I NEVER write reviews, but these ladies were so exceptional, and did such an impeccable job, that I just had to take the time. My husband and I are absolutely blown away by their attention to detail, and the amazing job they did. Just WOW. I wish I could give zero stars as well! As a few people have stated they are terribly disorganized & yes maybe if people have the luxury of taking off work several times to meet these people only for them not to show up it would work for you, but besides that issue Lupita (the owner) was extremely argumentative to a new client when her team destroyed the paint on my nightstand by turning over an oil scented electric lamp on it. Rather than apologize & offer a fix, oh noooo claimed her team was not responsible for this as she confirmed that there is no way that this actually happened. Oh so I DID IT? This lady is crazy so I decided to turn over my scented lamp to destroy my own nightstand, my robe & have paint all over my hard wood floors, really? Issue was resolved, but not until I was forceful! I'm having a party at my house tonight, and my previously scheduled cleaning-help flaked out. I called Environmaids two days ago, desperate. They were able to come yesterday! Lupita was so helpful and accommodating over the phone, listening to my particular needs--I don't need the bedrooms cleaned, just the publicly visible party area--and quoting a very fair price for the unusual request. She explained that they charge by the job not the hour, and they work until it is clean. I told her I liked that guarantee! After having another cleaning plan fall through, I was very grateful that Lupita called and let me know they were coming from another job that was running long. When the team came yesterday, the upholstery and carpet steam cleaner was still working (I screwed up the timing majorly) and was in their way. They were flexible and worked on everything except the carpeted living room until he was through. Our house looks fabulous. My fiance said he doesn't think it's been this clean since he moved in, and I think it just might look better. They were very thorough with our very messy kitchen, even the inside of the microwave was spotless. Today all I have to do is cook (in a finally usable kitchen that's beautiful!) and relax before the party. People are NOT going to believe we are slobs unless they open our bedroom door! read more
